The date is 27 Dec. That is the date for this post. On this day, my friends and I - Mae, Luc, Eliza, Jeremy, Alexa, Tee Keat went to Sunway Lagoon! Calv couldn't make it because of some reason which made us kinda sad. oh yeah, this trip was my first trip there and when they first heard that I haven't been to Sunway Lagoon before, Eliza organized this outing for me. :D Thanks gal!
As usual, the day was filled with screams, laughters, joy and an additional element that made this day sooo special - getting WET! I left my house at 8.20am to pick Mae up so that we will be in time to reach Eliza house at 9. Went to pick Jeremy up from the LRT station and headed to Sunway Laggon to meet up with Alexa, Tee Keat and Luc. We arrived there at 8.30 and there was already a queue for the entrance tickets!! We went for 3 parks ticket that allows us access to Extreme park, Theme park and water park.
When all of us arrived and wore our tickets on our wrist, we went in search of lockers. With 7 of us, we manage to rent 3 lockers and stuff all our stuff in since the locker charges are so expensive. Took some money out for later and then, we went in search of rides which brought us to several heart screaming, heart filling laughter and water sputtering rides.
After a few rides in the dry park, we went for a ride on the tomahawk which brings you 360 degrees. Since my stomach was all empty, by the time I was done with all the rides plus tomahawk, I wsa feeling sick and ready to puke. We walked halfway through the super long suspension bridge which Mae had manage to conquer her fear and walk through it (congrats!) we went for lunch. We settled for burger and a meal cost about RM 15.00 plus.
After lunch, we headed to the extreme park where we rode a buggy, I had a swan ride with Luc against Mae and Alexa (all of us were wet from all the water splashing battles which made the lifeguard blow his whistle many many times). The others wanted to go flying fox but since we have to climb soooo high up, Luc,me and Mae bailed out and we went in search of food and water. turn out that the queue was so long that the rest of them bailed out on it too.
After food, me, luc and eliza went for the mountain biking trail. the rest went for to the water park. Just say that my biking skills was rusty and I am real sorry for Luc and Eliza because they were behind me and had to watch out for my rusty biking skills. Oh yeah, on the trail, I hit a tree. Sigh...
After the biking session, we join the rest and went and play in the water park. we rent a double float, which was mostly used by the girls and jeremy took out his frisbee to play in the water. I fell into the water once and my contact lenses came out!! Sigh... tried putting it back but the clorine was making it drop out so in the end i decided to be a 1 eye captain and throw away the daily contact lenses.
we left at 6, and headed into sunway pyramid for shopping. then we went to Asia cafe for dinner and headed back home. I reach home about 11 and by the time i am done with everything, i was so beat that i couldn't stay awake to update my blog.
So here it is. My post for the 27th Dec.
I am going off to my uncle hse for a new year celebration. So bye!!

A day of JOY and LAUGHTER
According to my lappie's clock, it's currently 4.23 am and I am still awake. Hehe, that's because today, my friends - Mae, Eliza, Luc and Jeremy came over to my place again!! Unfortunately, Calv couldn't join us since he's in hospital because of his leg :(
The main plan was going to the hospital to visit Calv then meeting up with Luc at my place for a day of board games, board games and board games. However, our plan was foiled when Calv told us that we cannot visit him because of doctor's orders. So we ended up talking to him on the phone instead.
After Luc arrived at my house, we started off our day of joy and happiness with a game of LIFE. It seems that most of us doesn't have a life since our LIFE cards were so little while Luc's life was very fulfilling indeed. My car was the only car that was filled with kids! I had 2 pair of twins!! haha, well, it sort of suits me since I love the idea of twins :D
After LIFE, we set up the TV and the PS 2 in the room that we were playing our games and then proceeding on with WORLD DOMINATION again!! we played a round of RISK, which lasted abot 4 to 5 hours. While waiting for our turns to attack and defend, we played the PS 2 games such as Takken and Dragonball. Ultimately, Luc won AGAIN!! I was close, but then I still lost :( Hmmphh!! one day I shall truimph and gain world domination!!
We send Jeremy off and went for dinner in Hartamas Square then head back to my place for movies. We broke the movie marathon record today by watching 3 movies straight. When I got up to walk around, it felt SOOOOO good to stretch my muscles. We watched Mallrats brought by Luc, White Chicks and 40 year old virgin by Eliza. Had loads of laughs and gross moments that made all of us went UGH!! EWW and YUCK!!
They just went home about half an hour ago. It seems that everytime they come over to my place for games, they would end up staying until late at night. Maybe one day I can have a sleepover or something like that. but that would not be in the near future since it requires permission from all the parents and loads of planning as well.
I really had lots of fun today. I smile, laugh and even groan along with this group of friends whenever I lost in a game or while watching a disgusting scene in the movie. It's really a day that is filled with nothing but joy and laughter.
New year is coming soon. And I hope that in the coming year, my days will be filled with as much joy, laughters and great friends. Hugs!!!

A RISKY day
Okay, this post is for 24th December. :D Notice it's one of the dates in my list of things that I want to blog about??
anyway, that day, we as in me, mae, Eliza, Alexa, Tee Keat, Luc, Sara Calvin and Jeremy went to watch Transporter 3. (PS - it's the day after I met Derrick in 1u)
So, we went to Pasta Zanmai for lunch, went for movie, batting cages and arcade before heading to my house to do an impromptu christmas countdown.

We went for WORLD DOMINATION!!
Really, that's what we did during our countdown :D
Luc's world domination picture. No! He didn't really dominate the world. He just replace our armies with his :D
The game lasted for 4 hours, I think and at about 3.30am, we went for our dinner. Yes, that's our dinner :D. By the time we all reach home, it was about 5am. I was beat and yet I had to hear my mom's lecture about going out and coming back so late.
Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun that day and it is the best christmas eve I ever had. Oh yeah, the gang is coming over tomorrow for another round of RISK. I can't wait!!!

In Batting Cages- I didn't play but they did. I have intense dislike for flying balls :D
Only Calvin, Eliza, Luc and Mae was at my place. At my place, we watched 2 ghost stories, one was a real disgusting movie while the other is a funny horror movie that kept us laughing. Then, we did what most people won't do for Christmas. We went for WORLD DOMINATION!!
Really, that's what we did during our countdown :D
We played RISK. It's a strategy game that had me addicted but I was unable to play due to the lack of companions. So when they came over, me and Luc persuaded them to play with us. Since only Luc and I knew how to play the game, we guided the rest of them throughout the game. It was kinda fun because we were attacking and defending our countries with miniatures of armies.
My armies are yellow in color. :D notice that I have most of Europe? I always get invaded though :(
Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun that day and it is the best christmas eve I ever had. Oh yeah, the gang is coming over tomorrow for another round of RISK. I can't wait!!!

Worst christmas ever....~2008~
Who would have thought that this is how my christmas would be this year? who would have thought that I would spend my Christmas wallowing in depressing thoughts? I thought that I was over this whole depression stage, but apparently I was wrong. Very wrong.
I felt very lonely. As if I was all alone and no one understood how I felt today. I had always thought that I was strong, and in someways, my Australia stay had proved me wrong. I went through an emotional roller coaster for the past few months, and finally the ride had came to an end. Or so I thought. I managed to survive through all the questions, remarks and unwanted comments and I had always thought that it had made me stronger after the whole emotional ride was put behind me.
Who would have expected that all it takes was just a few remarks, a few phrases to bring me back to the very beginning where all the fear and emotions were mixed together that I could barely differentiate one from another? All it fuc*ing take was a few statements to bring the emotional roller coaster back into my life.
It felt so weird, that I can barely believe that he actually stated it to my face. after all, he is my brother, and they are suppose to protect you, to keep you safe rite? Maybe I am just asking too much from him. Who knows? Maybe there is a manual attached to me somewhere called 'How to hurt her'. If not, how did he actually manage to break all resistances that I had managed to built around myself. I know, as most brothers do, they thrive on agonizing their little sister. But somehow, I just did not know that it would be until this extent.
To start off, according to him, I am so pampered so I came back. I don't deny that I am pampered in many ways. SO WHAT? he is MORE pampered than I am. He's just smart enough to talk his way through any situation. As an icing on top of a cupcake, he stated that if my parents ever spend that much on him to go and further his studies, he WOULD NOT have come back. HELLO!!! you went and graduated okay? you had your chance. you grumbled to me how horribly boring life over there is that you can barely wait to come back. but then again, most people don't remember that part because he is an angel in people's eyes. As for the cherry on top which I am not really fond of, he said that if they ever spend to send me over again, no matter where or when, I can never be successful. Finally, he said what he thought and that was what pushed me over the brink. It hurts so bad that ever after hours, my heart still constrict in pain.
Most of you may not realize this, but despite the fact that he agonizes me, in many ways he was my role model when I grew up. I grew up wanting to be him, wanting to be the center of attention, wanting to be the one everyone praises. But I always fall short. I have people around me - my parents, their friends and my family members comparing the both of us and everyone felt that he is the better good and I am the greater evil. I could not sweet talk my way through like he can, I am not as smart as him, not as charismatic as him and maybe in many ways, not a good child like him.
I tried to find many ways to best him in certain areas and although I fail sometimes, I do actually manage to best him. But what do I get? Not even a pat at the back for effort. When I get better grades that him, all I get was 'Nah! It was just luck.' After sometime, I just gave up. I just gave up trying to best him because no matter what I do, no one would see it as a success. After all, who can beat the golden child of the family?
So people, Merry Christmas and Cheers!! hope that you will have a better Christmas that I do...

Stop & think
Today went to 1U with my mom at about 11.30am. As we were walking around 1U, I was trying to figure out the plans for tomorrow's outing. It started off with karaoke session, but then due to some complication, in the end i changed it to a movie outing. but then, i can't decide which movie to watch. After messaging people non stop, i finally decided to watch transporter 3.
Turned out that there are many of us that are in 1U today. Mae told me she's there and she saw Derrick. Later on, Jeremy told me that he was there too. Too bad i didn't meet Mae or Jeremy. When i found out that Derrick is back in KL, i called him and scheduled a short meeting. After all, he's my pet bro for like 5 years and I really do miss the crazy moments we spent in school and tuition.
Meeting and talking to Derrick brought out many emotions in me today. I was surprised to find him back home, happy that we get to see each other during his short trip and at one point, feeling a little down when he made reference to my stay in Australia. It had really made me stop and think and this is what I came out with.
In many ways, I have stop thinking about my time in Australia, I have stop doubting the decision that I have made many months ago. After all it's already 6 months, and in these 6 months, I have slowly regained my self confidences in making decisions for my own. I guess the topic of my stay in Australia will always be a sensitive issue to me. until now, i still find myself stiffening whenever I hear people ask questions about my return, but I stopped taking it to heart and stopped viewing it as failure.
I guess there are still moments that I would ask myself, what would happen if I stayed behind, but if you ask me if I had regretted my decision, my answer would be no. I had a great group of friends here - Jue, Mae, Brigitte, Siew See, Pei Ling, Alexa. and if I didn't come back, I would not have gain a new group of people that I would proudly call them as friends. Before I left, there were merely acquaintances that I know from Mae, but after I came back, we all became closer and I am very happy to have them as my friends. These people are:Eliza, Luc, Calvin, Jeremy, Izzie, Dennis and a whole lot of other people . I guess, if I didn't come back, I would not get to know these great individuals personally, and that would be a huge waste. They brought more smiles and laughters into my life and I am very happy for it. So, if you ask me, if I had regretted my decision, I would say no. Who would? with such great friends?

Malacca! we come in peace!
Hey people!! yeah, it's super long since I updated...so, here's an update.
for those of you who doesn't know, I went a trip with my friends - Mae, Eliza, Alexa, Calvin, Jeremy, Luc and Tee Keat. When we arrived there, Syed, Jo and Fred joined us.
Our first stop was the Malacca Zoo where we saw animals!! The zoo was quite lacking in terms of 2 legged mammals aka humans. It's was very hot too!! but nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves and kept ourselves cool with coke and warm root beer. (somehow the root beer from the A&W stall is WARM! yuck!)
after that, we went to our hotel called Hotel Hallmark. While waiting till 2 o'clock so that we can check in, we went for lunch. We ended up lost in Malacca. after walking aimlessly and unknowingly if we are in the right direction, we managed to ask our way through to Jonker Street where we had lunch. then, getting directions from the shopkeeper, we walked our way back to the hotel. I think the shopowner think that we drove to Jonker street, so he directed the way to our hotel if we DRIVE. We found out later that there is a way shorter route we can take on foot from Jo and Fred.
We rested and started our journey around Malacca on foot! went to many places and snapped a lot of pictures. here are some it....

Our jumping picture! after many tries, we finally got it. we must have looked very silly jumping up so many times trying to get this pic. :D thanks to Mae for adding Malacca and to Jeremy for taking the pic

One of our group pic. Jeremy is missing because he's the cameraman :D

I kinda like this pic.

We called this, our KAMI picture!
the emo pic that Mae took for me while we were passing time at an open air court.

the emo pic that Mae took for me while we were passing time at an open air court. That night, the gals went over to the guys room to mingle around. Luc, Syed, Jeremy, Calvin and Me took turns to play chor tai di, Mae was busy snapping pictures, Eliza was reading a comic book while Alexa and Tee Keat were spending quality time together in one corner. Later, I fell asleep and the boys along with Mae played bluff. It was around 2.30 that we went back to our rooms to sleep.
Mae, Alexa and I shared a bed while Eliza slept in a sleeping bag. We woke up at 4.45am the next morning to see sunrise. We climbed up to a fort, I think it's St. Paul fort? correct me if I am wrong. We got lost around for a while, but managed to find our way there. The initial plan was to walk there, but then we changed it to driving there and I am sooo glad for it. Maybe because there are a lot of turning during the drive to the fort, I felt like it's too far for us to walk. But Jo and Fred assured us that it's in walking distance. Nonetheless, we drove there.
It was still pitch dark when we arrived, so we spent some time relaxing and taking pictures. Here are some of my fav picture taken there.

Me and Mae. Love ya gal!
At around 8 o'clock, we went back to our hotel. Mae, Eliza, Jeremy and Calvin went for the hotel breakfast while the rest of us went back to sleep. We checked out at 11 am, and went in search for Jo and Fred for the rest of our adventure. We went to a lot of museums, hung out in malls to pass time, went for the Tamingsari Tower and our last stop was the Jonker Street night market.
Most of us got gifts for family and friends from there. the stuff there are priced okay and the food there is quite nice. At around 10+ pm, we said goodbye to Malacca and head back for KL.
On the last note, I bought a miniature of Bones! really! I was walking around and saw a miniature of bones. It's just a little smaller than Sam Bones and I decided to call this Bones Junior.
There's an even tinier one, but i didn't buy it because I didn't want to risk the warth of my mom for buying too many soft toys. One day, I shall get my hands on the tiny bones and my Bones family will be completed. I even thought of the name of my future tiny bones. I am going to call it, Tiny. Tiny Bones. :D

Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst
Hey peeps!! Hols is here and yes, that means finals is over too!!! Hols started yesterday. I should be rejoicing but somehow, my mood isn't what I expected it to be. Just 2 days into the holidays and I am already feeling bored. I have been downloading games to play during finals, and somehow the games that I downloaded, I finished playing it. So I guess that means searching for more games to play.
I just finish playing one of the 'bigfishgames' kinda games. Seriously! for those of you that are wondering what is a 'bigfishgame', they are games that basically have simple way of playing, they are either puzzles, hidden object games or time management games. These games are also games that could be found for free on Yahoo and others, but the games there are only up to limited level, which can be a real mood spoiler since it stops when it starts to get exciting. You can also get the trial version, which I think is another mood spoiler since it's only an hour, just enough to get you addicted. I for one, love to play these kind of games, and since it cost money to actually buy the full version, I do like what most people will do. I download the full version that are cracked by super smart people and post it online for other not so smart people like me :D
Okay, the game that i just finish playing is called Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst. It continued from the previous Mystery Case Files: Madame Fate and the Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst. Basically, in the first Ravenheast, we play as a detective who is sent to investigate a manor which is rumored to be haunted. There we look for clues and solve puzzles and finally freed the soul of the ghost in the manor. The ghost is Emma. In Madame Fate, you are sent to investigate a predicted murder in a carnival. Madame Fate, who is a fortune teller, fortolded her death and asked your help to look for the murderer before she gets killed. Turn out that in the end, the killer is Charles, who is also the villan in Ravenhearst. It seems that when we released Emma's soul, he roamed free and decided to kill Madame Fate.
In this installment, you return to Ravenhearst Manor and Emma met you there, telling you that there are OTHER souls trap in Ravenhearst Manor and we are suppose to go and release them from the evil Charles before he returns to the Manor. So, once again, you go through the house searching for clues. Along the way, you meet the ghost of Emma, Rose and her daughters Charlotte and Gwen who are trapped in the manor. It seems that evil Charles had kidnapped Rose and her daughters and kept them in an underground city below the manor and when they are dead, their souls are kept in the city with weird looking locks which contains puzzles and we have to solve them before entering the rooms. Apparently, the souls of Rose and her daughters will keep Charles strong enough to travel between the living and the death dimension so that he can travel between both worlds. Did I mention that Charles is born in the 1880's??
So the objective of the game is to look for clues and solve the puzzles around the house while ghosts and ghostly whispering could be seen and heard in the game. It's a hidden object game, so in order to play this game, we have to strain our eyes at the tiniest detail in a scene, looking for a specific object. With this kinda of games, little wonder why I am wearing glasses.
Anyway, I think this game is among the best in the Mystery Case Files Series is because the graphic is stunning! Fantastic! You even get to see ghosts which we don't get to see in the first Ravenhearst. Not to mention you actually get to see the whole room, rather than a specific scene and this allows us to click on certain stuff that can freak us out.
Well, In the end, you manage to solve the mystery, killing Charles along with his machines and setting free Rose, Gwen and Charlotte's soul. But there's twist! Charles has a son called Victor. and he traveled back to the 1880's, so I think there's going to be a sequel to this. I think! According to the detective's calculation, Victor is suppose to be 110 years old. Freaky!! The whole scenery of the game looks real cool too, it's just like how I expect an old rusty underground city to be. Oh yeah, the city only has a salon, a general store, toy shop, school and a very weird lifesize gingerbread cottage for the children to play in. The whole atmosphere that the gamer created along with the ghostly whispers scared me quite a few times.
Once, I was all alone at home playing the game, I decided to stop because it's just too freaky to play when I am alone at home. I also don't play at night so I spend my noons playing this game and it's finally came to an end :( How sad... I can't wait for the next installment. I think that the game developer really did a great job on this game. I would say it deserves full marks! :D

Grrr! can't afford to be sick!
Grrr!! I can't afford to be sick! at least, not NOW!! I still have 8 chapters of marketing to study, 11 possible essay questions to answer and 8 chapter of lecture notes to cram into my brain. And I just can't do it with my head aching like someone took the hammer and continuously pounding on it. My eyes feels very tired, my body feels like it's so heavy that I can barely lift my hand, and my body feels hot AND cold at the same time. Sigh! sleeping doesn't help, since i just woke up from a 4 hour sleep and my head is still pounding like there's no tomorrow!! Grrr!!
The last day of finals is on Wed, and it for marketing. I hope that I do okay though, since I am desperately in need of all my subjects to be at least a credit. In the past 4 days, I have finished my English paper, Critical Thinking paper and study skills. One way or another, these papers are not hard except for CTS but you have to write A LOT!! for English itself, we have about 15 comprehension questions, 1 close passage, 1 correcting the grammar and 1 essay. Little wonder the paper is about 2 and 1/2 hours. Seriously, it's not hard, but you will have to write until the hand ache. But then again, I have to be pretty relax to finish it in 1 1/2 hours. But no sweat. I only need another 10% to get a credit. :D
Speaking of English, the Chinese gals in my English class is scary! They are going around throwing remarks about people who get higher than them for the assessments. One guy get 3 marks higher than them, they started questioning the lecturer why he gets higher than them even when he doesn't attend to class? Why another guy gets higher than them when he sleeps in class? WTH! So what if people get higher than you? This just mean that people's English is better than you! just accept it la! you don't want to speak English in class, only speaking Chinese, you don't understand when the lecturer explains nor do you listen when the lecturer gives the answer to the passage, how you want to get good marks? You don't even know when to use -ing, am, is, are, a, the and the rest and you want to get good grades? Get real!! When lecture announce that the highest is 55/60 (that's me :D) I was really wondering, if the lecturer tells them that I got the highest, I wonder what they would say. Most probably say that I don't' come class and get high marks. Hey! I skip class AFTER the barring list is out, and it's only 3 times in a week??? haha!!
As for CTS and Study skills, I got both 46% over 60%. I was hoping for a little higher for both, but then, oh well. Lecturer is so kedekut in giving marks, what to do? But comparing to the others, I think i did kinda well :D As for finals, haha!! no need to say. I totally screwed up the CTS paper. Study Skills is also somewhere along the way to doomsville. When I did my CTS paper on sat, let's just say I was playing guessing the whole way. It's something like playing a jigsaw puzzle where I think this is the answer and I just try to fit it in! It totally sux! on the side note, my other friends find it hard too. I just hope that I get enough marks to get a credit which is 65%. Study skills, I think it should be called the writing skills instead, since that all we did for the exams. Writing, writing and writing. 4 short answers and 2 essays. Short answers MUST have the specific term, explanation AND example and it cannot be in point form. It must have a freaking introduction, body and conclusion. So may I ask, what is the freaking difference between the short answer and essay question??!!! my writing was barely legitimate, so the lecturer can happily go and decipher my answer script. Good luck to her! my hand ache by the end of the paper, my writing was so horrible and I don't want to look at it anymore that I just handed it in and left. I just hope I get enough marks again to get a credit. SIGH!!
Marketing is next up. It's scheduled for 3 pm at Wisma HELP, level 4. Have loads to study for, and hope that I can get it done with my stupid annoying headache!!
Wow!! for someone who has a headache AND a body that feels so heavy that she can barely lift the hand up, she sure type a lot of stuff today! :D
