BUT THE CHRISTINE WAS KINDA SHORT AND THE OTHERS WERE LIKE TALL SO IT WAS LIKE...WEIRD. BUT LIKE OH MY GOD LAR. THE STAGE THING WAS COVERED IN GREY CURTAINS AND ALL AND THE FIRST PART WAS THE AUCTION AND GOD!!! THEY REALLY HAD THE MONKEY AND THE SONG WAS SO NICE. ANYWAY WHEN THEY GOT TO THE PART WHERE THEY WERE LIFTED THE CHANDELIER, THE CURTAINS SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED AND IT WAS LIKE WOW. FANTASTIC FANTASTIC!!! AND THEN THERE WAS THE PART WHERE SHE WALKED INTO THE MIRROR BUT GOSH IT WAS SO COOL BEFORE SHE WALKED IN LAR. YOU COULD REALLY SEE THE PHANTOM'S FACE IN THE MIRROR LAR. AND THEN THEY WERE SINGING AND WALKING THEN THEY SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED AND REAPPEARED AT LIKE THE TOP AND IT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE FLYING DOWN LIKE THAT LAR!!! AND OH MY GOD!!! THE WATER WAS FANTASTIC. THE SMOKE AND ALL THAT REALLY LOOKED AS IF THE BOAT WAS IN THE WATER AND IT WAS AMAZING. MY GOD LAR AND THE SONG WAS STUCK IN MY HEAD THE WHOLE DAY TODAY!!! JANE KEPT COMPLAINING THAT I WAS SO WEIRD COS I WAS SINGING AND HUMMING TO PHANTOM OF THE OPERA!!! SHE SAID I WENT SIAO LIAO. BUT I LOVE PHANTOM EVER SINCE I WATCHED THE MOVIE AND ALL AND NOW I GET TO SEE THE OPERA SO ITS LIKE A DAMN DREAM COME TRUE!!! AND I HAVE THIS NECKLACE THING THATS SUPPOSED TO BE WORTH LOTS CAUSE MY PARENTS WATCHED IT THE LAST TIME THEY CAME TO SINGAPORE AND MY SIS BOUGHT IT SO ITS ORINGINAL AND LIKE NOT SILVER BUT WHITE INSTEAD!!! AND I BOUGHT THE SWEATSHIRT THIS TIME ROUND!!! IT WAS LIKE $65 LAR THATS LIKE SO EXPENSIVE SO IM GONNA TREASURE IT LIKE HELL!!! ANYWAY EVERYTHING WAS LIKE WOW!!! AND SO FUNNEH LAR THE PART CARLOTTA CROAKED AND CROAKED, I IMITATED HER JUST NOW AND JANE LAUGHED AT ME, WHICH MEANS I HAVE GOOD ACTING SKILLS. LOL. LIKE REAL... Ist reason to be sad: I can't get over that. Pete says that they're just friends and all but they were seen at this party, kissing, cuddling at L.A. hotspot Parc. It's so depressing. I dont get it! How can someone so hot and perfect be seeing someone so fake and urgh..... So depressing.... But I repeat, Petey says that they're not together and they're just friends lor, he won't lie right? And maths! What can I say? Nice? Lovely? The best subject ever? Lovely teacher? Interesting subject? Like hell! More like the complete opposite. Math's so depressing and stressful. That's why they just set up the maths clinic. To help people who gets stressed over maths. I think. Whatever lar. We have like at least 4 periods of maths a day and 6 this monday, which is horrid. Maths=Depression, Maths=Stress. Gosh... E maths is still ok but A... Let's just start crying.
The third reason? Exams! Duh... So scary lar! Exams are so near. And i still cant feel the urgency to study which sucks terribly. Im not prepared for science and lit. Lit... 2 books. 2 boring books. How to study so many pages? I'm doomed. DOOMED i tell you. DOOMED. Anyone has an apple?
Right. Ok. Randomness. The last reason. Pete's the most important reason why I'm feeling down. The second most important reason is DANCE FLOOR AND P.O.T.O. I CANT CALM DOWN RIGHT NOW!!! WHY IS IT THAT OUT OF SO MANY DAYS I'M GOING TO PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ON THE SAME DAY AS DANCE FLOOR FINALS. THATS NOT WHAT ME MADE ME SO ARGH!!! I'VE GOT 6 RESERVED TICKETS FOR DANCE FLOOR AND I CANT EVEN GO!!! ITS THE FINALS. AT FIRST I WAS JUST SAD I HAVE TO WATCH A RECOREDED VERSION OF DANCE FLOOR ON SUNDAY AFTER P.O.T.O BUT NOW I FIND OUT THAT THERE WERE 6 RESERVED TICKETS FOR ME THIS SUNDAY. I JUST HATE LIFE. HATE IT. Urm... I've been real.......... lazy these few days. I planned to talk about the new seating arrangement in class which we all hated but I didnt cos I started playing other games when I turned on my com. And I also wanted to mention that Hasisha accused me of something which I didnt do and that totally sucked. But I was toooooooooo lazy to write. I'm still lazy and all, but some peeps have me asking me to update. LOL. Ok, not funny. But I dunno what to write!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got into the top 10 of an online game? Which took me 6 hours in total by the way. And right now what I want to do is to sleep, sleep, and sleep. I used the com till 5 last night and watched Tv to sleep at 6.
I'm at my sis house now, I was suppose to be here yesterday but I think she was sick or something and my parents are in malaysia. I can't believe they actually went there on the day Good Charlotte was there. I mean, they're not going to meet Joel and all but it just reminds me that I'm not there, screaming out lyrics at the concert which sucks. Have I mentioned Andrea has a Good Charlotte poster plasted on her wall but she doesnt know who Joel Madden is? She said he was damn ugly, when is like uber hot. AND she thought he quit the band after watching their music video, keep your hands off my girl. I got really pissed at her and chased her around the class. Point is, how can someone put up a poster of Good Charlotte on the wall and not know the members of the band? Heck, she couldnt even tell the difference between Joel and Benji. Joel's the uber hot one and Benji is the uber ugly one that she thought was Joel.
Anyway, my maid's sitting beside me and she's wowing at all the cheap offers in the newspaper like some weirdo. I still have no idea what to write. Oh wait! How bout 'Zai Ci Wei Xiao' ? It's an awesome show. Go and die if you don't watch it. Just kidding. But seriously! It's damn nice lar! But everyone wants Danxi to be with Hezhen but I want her to be with Zaiming. Today's another boring day... Vanessa ruined my butterfly! *Sniffs*. Luckily I have two otherwise Vanessa wouldnt even be alive now. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nothing happened except that we all had nothing to do. It seems to be unlucky day though. For chinese, i brought the wrong workbook and for maths, i brought my Amaths roughbook instead of Emaths. I swear, I'm starting to become like Elizabeth, but not as blur as her. The blur Queen title still goes to her. At least Ms Champion didnt exactly scold us today and as usual, the boring maths class. Miss Nicole Teo! Oh God! She was being so bad today! Andrea and I didnt have our Raisin In The Sun books and she made us stand along with Samantha and Shona. But WTF!!!!!!!!!! We ordered from the school bookshop already. It's not our fault they havent sent it to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I go back to not liking her again. If you read Andrea's the post tat Andrea wrote in the library today, you'll see that her crush was in her car with her. His name is Wei Rong by the way and he has extremely extremely extremely extremely hairy legs!!! Andrea doesnt seem to mind though and she wanted to kiss him in the car so badly that day. By the way, Qun Lin is a very naughty girl. She skipped Ace maths today and shes sure to ganna a scolding by Miss Yap. We were doing this 80 question thing and at first Andrea was at the top because she started first. Then she dropped and I went to top 3 and then I dropped like her because I didnt bother to do the questions and just anyhow choose an answer.
I only ate my lunch at like 4 and by then I was starving, Jane was starving too, Andrea wasnt. Prolly bcos of her chicken chop set she had during recess. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo come home, nothing to do. 6pm. Go out. My grandfather won first prize in lottery or whatsoever. So he treated us to dinner and we had shark fin =) and he gave me $50. Not fair though... Jovian go a $100 out of him and I only get a 50. Nothing happened for so many days lar! BORING!!! BORING!!! AND BORING!!!

Again, today was a seriously boring day. Michelle finally graced us with our presence but we werent able to annoy her today. She was staring into space and we were trying to get her attention. Even when Andrea expressed her love for Michelle, Michelle didnt budge. Hmmmmmmmmm...... Too sick to do anything? I think we had English for the first two periods... Was it English? Oh well, too boring to remember anything. We were just giving opinions on statements like 'Men should cook' or whatsoever. I totally agree though, that men should learn to cook! And help in the household chores! Need to share the burden! Then it was PE, we all skipped a few rounds then when for re test. At least we passed this time round. So, im being forced by my parents to run at night now, before the 2.4 comes up. Do you know how scary Bishan Park is at night? Well sometimes only. They dont have sufficient lights lar and the stupid night confidence walk made me freaked out. Stupid camp instructors who jumped up from behind trees and wlaking around with popping eyes. And they purposely walk behind us with loud footsteps. Andrea and I were singing breaking free seriously loudly to calm our nerves and we got a little too high pitched after our first scare. At least Bishan Park wasnt as dark but I've imagined ghosts lurking around before.
So after, recess, it was Chinese and we walked down all the way from the fourth floor to the first floor after just climbing up from the first floor to the fourth floor after recess. Jane and I were checking our blogs and such and she was trying to get into youtube. I think she was listening to music or something and once she turned it on, Mrs Cheah came in and her music just blasted out loud. She thinks Mrs Cheah was staring at her. I dunno but Mrs Cheah wont do much about it .... i think. She's cool... And Physics... Mrs Tang was trying to make lessons interesting for the hongkong teachers thing. All these while, shes been reading off the text book and today because of the hongkong guys she made us do structures and such then scolded us for being so slow and chatting while doing it. Hello? Its not that easy to make a 1m tall structure which platfrom must be 5cm above the ground and must be able to carry a weight of 5N out of straws and satay sticks. How are straws gonna be able to carry the weight? And the materials were so little! And at the end, for maths, We got a scolding from someone who was PMSing. I think there are two teachers who PMS every single day.
And thats how my boring day went. I fell asleep after lunch cause I only slept for 1 hour last night. I was watching the vine yard man on dvd. Its quite a nice show actually. Theres that girl who acted as Cai Jing and shes playing the role of this average girl who has a granduncle that owns this vineyard thing which was worth $2000 per acres. So she has to go there and work for 1 year and she keeps running away. And theres this filthy guy who looks like a bloody badoopi. The plot is quite funny but the guys aint worth looking at, at all.

How birthdays came about:
Thousands of years ago birthdays were considered a time when the bad spirits as opposed to the good spirits were able to harm you as this day changed a person's life. It was believed that the only way to keep the bad spirits at bay was to have your friends and family around you so that their good wishes and present giving would keep them at bay.
Also noisemakers are thought to be used at parties as a way of scaring away the evil spirits.
The custom of lighting candles originated with people believing that the gods lived in the sky and by lighting candles and torches they were sending a signal or prayer to the gods so they they could be answered. When you blow out the candles and make a wish this is another way of sending a signal and a message.
This is how the way we celebrate our birthday came about. But different cultures celebrate in different ways.
