Term 4 Week 4 : Formula One Racing

Hi Principal, Teachers and friends,

F1 show is other fantastic one! I love it. F1  is a car which is a one seater car.F1 goes for racing event. F1 started in 1950 , British Grand Prix, at Silverstone on 13 May. Singapore should stage the F1 racing event. So people from other country will come and watch. I watch the F1 race and the most interesting part is when the Ferrari is fueling the diver drove away. The other interesting part is when the Ferrari suddenly stop, the other F1 car crash when the Ferrari drove away.

Term 4 Week 3 : Recycling

Recycling is about things that you use and after you use, think for a few seconds. Is the item recyclable? If yes, you will recycle instead of throwing it away. Some of the recyclable item are plastic bottle, aluminium cans, newspapers and others you can thing off. If we don't recycle, the world will be death by now. If you haven't started recycling, start it now. I usually sell my newspapers to the old-rag-man. I think our school is doing very well in recycling. The school can help to save the earth. The message is 3R~recycle~reuse~reduce.

Term 4 Week 1: Reading

Hi principal, teacher and friends,

Reading help us to improve on our grammar and vocabulary so we can write well in our english. Reading is very important for you because if you never read you will not improve a lot in your english. I usually read english storybook such as "Mr Wumble and the Dragon" , "Mr Lcy Cold" and many more. I read more than 10 books per month. I read because I wan to improve my english. Some pupils will read and will be affected to computer but some pupils won't be affect. The school can enconrage by after they done their work they can read. The book I will recommend is " Mr Wumble and The Dragon".

Holiday Homework 4 (T3Wk10):Computer Games

Hi Principal, Teachers and friends,

I play computer games. I play because I have nothing else to do. The Games I play are MapleStory and little fighter 2. I am attracted because the games are fun. I think many students play computer games. I think they do so is also for fun.

I Not really very sure how long I play in one week time but I play one to two three hours per day. These computer game may not affect my studies but it may affect some other students. Those who is hardworking and play computer it may not affect his/her studies but those who is not hardworking but still play computer, it will affect his/her studies. I am aware that people will be addicted to computer games and I think that their parents should take action.

Holiday Homework 3(T3Wk 9): The Olympics Games

The Olympics show was just fantastic! It is so important that it keep us healthy and fit. I have watch the show to see how are some of the others sport I can try on. The table tennis was wonderful and now I like table tennis sport.I will participate in the olympics in table tennis event. I like table tennis so much that nowadays I have been playing.It is worth organizing this event so that people know more about this event.

Holiday Homework 2 (T3Wk8): National Day

National day is about the country birthday. Everybody celebrates birthday, so we will have to celebrates the country birthday. celebrating the country birthday can be many ways. some will go and have a nice lunch or dinner, some will watch the NDP show, some will go arcade and play games and some will stay at home. But for me, I went shopping and came home early to watch the NDP show. Our school celebration was perfect. I like it. The school can make a photo booth with the national flag behind.

Unit 8: Indian Folktales (Part 2)

Hi Principal, Teachers and friends,

You all have read about Indian Folktales, I will talk about my Singaporean Folktales. My title of the story is " The five boys and tiger". The story begins...

Once there was a family with a mother and five boys. The five boys are smart, kind and helpful.There was a tiger live in the forest. The tiger is greedy and unhelpful. One day, the mother was sick. She ask the five boys to look for food.
During the five boys journey, they meet the tiger. The tiger ask them " are you all finding some food?" The five boys said yes to the tiger. The tiger bring them to his house and trying to put them in the cage to cook them. But the five boys are smart. When the tiger is getting food to put in the cage, they ran off to the forest and set some traps. Then they each hold a tree brunch to hit the tiger if it come near to them. Next they continue finding food.
The tiger ran infount of them. He Said "I AM GOING TO EAT YOU ALL!" The tiger open his big mouth and wanted to eat them. Then the five boys use the tree brunch and hit him. The Tiger was DIED after the hits from the five boys. The five boys came home with a lot of food and can last them for 1 to 2 weeks.

THE END
The moral of this story is not to be greedy.

Personal Response 5: Earthquakes

Earthquakes in china causes a lot of lives and serious injuries. What can we do when there is an earthquakes? We can hide under the table. hiding under the table save you from injuries. The roof of your house will drop and hit you, so if you hide under the table the roof will not hit you. I think that Singapore will have earthquakes too. My uncle have experienced it before. He was working in his company and the earthquake came suddenly. This is all about earthquakes I know.

Reflection 5: Mother's Day

Today is Mother's day. In the morning, I gave my mother a big hug and a kiss. I made a card for here and gave her the day before today. Today my father brought his mother for a dinner. I think that mother's day is the day we spent most of time with our mothers and celebrate with them for what they had done for us.

Personal Response 4: Child Safety Belt in School Buses

Now a days, child take school buses are playing about in the buses. So Ms Karen Koh
Set a safety belt to all school bus so they will not play in the school buses. I don't take school buses because I can walk home. Setting the safety belt in the buses is good idea because children will not get injured.

Reflection 4: Food

Hi Principal, Teachers and friends,

Some food is healthy but some food is not healthy food. Over-eating food is not a good thing. Some food can make you fat but some food keep you fit and healthy. We should eat more healthy food then those food that make you fat. The food we eat must be controlled
or you will gone fat.

Personal Response 3: Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease

Singapore now have Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD). We must be very careful of this Disease. This Disease will spread easily. So if you got this disease at school, inform the teacher that is teaching you so people around you will not get Hand, Food and Mouth Disease.

This are some Symptoms of Hand, Food and Mouth Disease:

• Fever
  
• Sore throat
  
• Rashes
  
• Loss of appetite

If you having some of this symptoms, inform teacher, adult or the head of department. If you do not know you are having a chicken pox, you will be having some itchy rashes.

So Tell Your Teacher If You Have The Symptoms

For me, friendship mean to me is that I and a friendly friend been with each another for along time and had be the best of the best friend ever. The comic have a gang of bully which is not friendship but it is bully. It is important to have friend so they will teach you with things you do not know. It is important that you learn your mistake and never does the mistake again. You can be with a friend for a long time so you all will make friendship. We can be friendly with other peoples that are from other country and be friend with them. It is important to make friend from other country which are not Singaporeans and tell them more about Singapore. If you do, the person that is not Singaporean will know more about Singapore.

Just like people said, FRIENDSHIP will last forever!

Today, I will talk about Courtesy. I will talk about the story of Kong Rong.

Kong Rong is a courtesy boy. he is four year old. when his grandfather came back with a basket of pears and asked him to take the biggest one but Kong Rong take the smallest. So his grandfather ask him why, he said he is the youngest so the big ones give his brothers. Courtesy mean to me is polite behaviour. The first Fable impasses me most. Because it give the most explanation about Courtesy.

Reflection Two: My Dream

Hi Principal, Teachers and friends,

My Dream is to become a detective. I want to be a detective so that I can solve mysteries. I love to solve mysteries. It is fun to solve mysteries. It also help me to improve my solve maths problems sums. This dream is important to me because it can benefit mankind.

To plan my dream I will start now by studying hard. I will study a bit of the new topic that the teacher haven't teach us. When I do this, I will get better result for PSLE, If I get high marks for PSLE I will for sure get into a better secondary school. Then I will keep on working very hard to make my dream come true.

I think people should have dreams. A dream is just like a target. You will keep on working hard the reach your target would you? So that all for today.

Time seems to fly. We are now in week 2.



Today I will talk about Racial Harmony. Racial Harmony is about the 4 races working together in many companies.This festival binds all the races together. For example Singapore don't care weather what races we are. We just work together in four races, Indian, Chinese, Malay and Eurasian. We celebrate Racial Harmony because, many years ago, a fight between Malay and Chinese. So Singapore desided to have Racial Harmony as a day that the four races do something together happy instead of fighting each another.

My Reflection

There is a lots of activities going on in term two I bet that you are going to like it. Do you like the welcome back card I made? For My Class Test One, I study very hard for all the subject expect Chinese. I thought Chinese is the easy so I and I was very sad that I just past for my chinese. On the of exam, I was so confiedent that I will past my exam. I got 39.5/50 for my English and for my Maths I got 40/50 and for Chinese my worst subject I got 25/50 and the final subject is Science I got 38/50.I felt bad for my Chinese and Maths. My target for English is 85/100 and above, for my Maths is 85/100 and above, my Chinese is 80/100 and above and lastly for my Science is 85/100 and above. I have said my target, what yours? I wanted all this marks because if I past all the subject, I will go to Beijing in June holidays. It was my first time going out of Singapore. So I will for sure study hard to past all my subject. If I failed I will not stand a chance to go to Beijing.

Entry Six: Sports Carnival

Hi Principal, teachers and friends,





On 7-3-2008, is a Sports Carnival Day. In the morning, I went to the skylite cafe to help teachers sell some postcards for fifty cents per copy. We did this because we wan to help to earn money to help us buy air-con hall. We took two laptops and two printers to print the postcards. There are boarders and the picture of yourself in the postcards. During the primary three recess, there are quite a lots of people. during the primary four recess, I brought my three best friends here to memory lane to take pictures with me. It took about five minutes for the pictures to be ready. I past it to my friends and they get back to class as I stay at memory lane to help the teachers. After their recess there is no pupils to come and buy because the primary five and primary six were going Swimming Carnival instead of Sports Carnival. After thirty minutes later, they came back and a long queue. Then we work very fast till the queue is short. after that, they went back to their classroom.after a few minutes, we found out that there is free ice-creams in each classroom. Me and my classmate, Yue Heng ran back to ours classroom and when we reach there, our teacher ask me and my friend to go and take one. then we went down again to memory lane. Mr Justin, ask us want to eat KFC or Mc Donald's. We said KFC.So He call the KFC delivery. After school, there are more then ten people in the queue and we have to work very, very fast to keep the queue short. It was almost 1.15 P.M. and the delivery came. We have our lunch at about 1.30 P.M. It was very nice. after that, we went to play bouncy castle. After the bouncy castle, it was primary one recess. there was less than 5 people came. Then it was primary two Recess, There were less than 15 people came to take photo.then I found out the face painting. I went to paint my face and I saw Yue Heng my classmate there and it was free and a very long queue. I waited for thirty minutes and finally my turn. I painted a black dragon I name the dragon shadow dragon and Yue Heng painted a spider. It was about 5 P.M. and we packed everything and we arrange the tables and chairs. then we when home. What a memorable day I have.

Entry five:Thank You, Mr Singh

Mr Singh is leaving us you know? He is promote to a training of Principal. It is because he is going to other school to be a principal. We must thank him for his help. He is very good to us. We must congratulation him to be a principal. He helped Mr Tan and he praised our class before. He helped some of the prefect so we must make something for him and says thank you for helping us. So what can we make (type in the comments)? Please give me some ideas what to make.

entry four:Chinese New Year Celebrations

Hi principal, teacher and friends,

On the 5 of February, We celebrate Chinese New Year Eve. There were performance and slide show called"Show of Nian". Nian is a kind of sea monster that came out only once a year when it is Chinese New Year Eve. Nian would eat people in the village even adult. The people in the village were afraid of Nian so they climb up to the mountains to escape from Nian. One year, a old man came to a grandmother house. He said he will make nian go a way but the grandmother don't believe the old man and walk away to the mountain. When nian came to the grandmother house, nian push the door and it was shocked to see almost everything was red. It was afraid and suddenly, the main door open. There came out the old man with the whole shirt and pants red. Then the fire crackers started to popped. Nian got shocked and ran away. That the story.After that, we watch a dance perform by some students. After that, We watch a skit perform by teachers. It is a funny skit. It is Chinese teachers performing. The skit was about a family having a Chinese new year celebration. After that, we sing Chinese new year songs. after singing there came my favourite lion dance. I love it when I wan four years old. It was so funny and I wish I could watch again. after the loving lion dance we went back to classroom to do blogging. After blogging we gone home. What a loving Chinese New Year celebration I have.

Entry two:My December holiday

For my December holiday, I forgotten what day,My uncle, auntie brought my cousins and I to watched a movie call "Alvin and the chipmunks".At first I don't what show it is about.I agree. We went to junction8 to watch the show. We bought the tickets and went shopping because the show had not started. After about one hour and thirty minutes we go in to the cinema and sat down to watch the show. It was funny and interesting.It have three little chipmunks which can talk like human being.It also can sing and dance. Is so cute when they sing dance.

About 1 to 2 hour later, we went home.
