Sept 6
I asked Ty for a few months what kind of birthday party he wanted.
He kept changing his mind, and finally settled on "A Queen and Mater Party."
He kept telling me he wanted a "Queen and Mater cake."
He talked about his cake over and over.
I asked who he wanted to come to his party(thinking maybe we would invite a couple friends).
He said, "I want all of my friends to come...Cam and Abbie and Sadie and Gretchen and Dabe and Izzie. All of my friends. I love my friends."
I was okay with that, so we had a family Mater and Queen party and he loved it.
In the morning I put a bunch of balloons in his room.
He thought that was the best thing ever!
He kicked and tackled those balloons for a while and squeeled.
Dev had to go to school, so we had him open a few presents from us.
He was so excited for his "Queen" bike, until he tried to ride it and it was hard, so he gave up.
We got ready for the party, decorated, and I made the cake during the day.
Ty LOVED his cake.
He couldn't keep his hands off of it!
He LOVED his party too.
It was so much fun with the family there.
We ate things Ty can eat, he had his very own cake(his allergies make it hard) and ice cream.
I just can't believe my little boy is 3!
There was NO helium in town...So we made our own little balloon bouquet with wooden skewers.
The Table Centerpieces
The Finger Dives
Just a little excited about his present from Grandma and Grandpa. Luckiest Boy!
He didn't know how to drive it, so Abbie steered him around for a minute.
This little man was great. Just wanted to be held and slept on us most of the night.
Pretty excited about all of his fun presents
