{Day 1}
While Grandma and Granda were on their mission they kept telling the grandkids..."When we get home we're all going to Disneyland."
It seemed like FOREVER until it was finally time to go!
Mitch only had a couple weeks off school to be here, so we had to go within that time frame.
Devan didn't get to come because he was in Summer School at SUU.
I wasn't sure if I was going to go since Devan couldn't come and I had a new baby, but I was feeling great and didn't want to miss out on the family vacation.
We had SO MUCH FUN!
We got up and left at 5am on Monday morning.
We were hoping the kids would sleep most of the way, but they were too excited.
They were really good though and we only had a couple melt downs.
We got to California and checked into our hotel at the Paradise Pier Hotel.
Mom and Dad spoiled us with rooms at a Disney Resort, so we were so close to the park!
When we first walked into the hotel Mickey and Minnie were right there in the little restaurant! Malia went running to Mickey and he ran to her!
It looked just like a commercial and she just hugged him.
Ty loved the characters but was definitely timid and kept his distance. ha
We got all checked in and headed for the beach.
We met Jarom, Kristy, and Jaden at the beach and had a little lunch and played in the sand.
The kids were covered in sand and they had so much fun!
The beach is always a little chilly for me and so sandy.
My mom and I were just trying to keep Kael warm and covered from the ocean breeze/wind.
After the beach we went back and swam in the fun pool at the hotel.
There was a fun waterslide.
They wouldn't let parents ride down with the kids, so Ty had to go along(He didn't want to).
He got flipped around somehow and came out head first.
It scared him, and he wouldn't go on it again. ha
He just enjoyed the little kid/baby pool.
The other kids couldn't get enough of it!
Especially Malia. She was loving every second of it and cried when we had to leave!
The big boys all got ready and headed to the Angels baseball game
The girls(and my little boys) headed to Downtown Disney for dinner.
There was a balloon person that came around to the tables and made the kids all whatever they wanted.
They loved it!
