Easter Picnic

We always go to Grandma and Grandpa Gubler's for a picnic on
Saturday before Easter.
It's so much fun to just relax in nice weather and talk with everyone.
Grandma sneaks away and gets in her Easter Bunny gear,
then comes out singing, "Here comes Peter Cottontail."
She gave the kids each some bubble which was a huge hit.
Ty boy has a hard time blowing the bubbles.
It's so funny! He preps so big and blows so hard,
but somehow he misses it almost every time.
(Yes we love Grandma's poses.)

Santa Clara Egg Hunt

The Egg hunt started at 9 am at the Santa Clara Park.
I got up and started to get ready and Ty boy was not waking up.
I sent Devan up to get his clothes at 8:45, which woke him.
I felt bad, but we had talked about it the night before and he was SO excited.
He had told me, "I'm gonna run so fast mom!" ha

We got there just in time for them to say, "Ready Set Go!" I had pointed to a pink egg and told Ty, "See those are the eggs. You can run and put them in your basket." As soon as they said GO he was on a dead sprint for the pink egg. He got it in his basket and came back saying, "I got it!" He thought he was all done. ha So we then told him he could get more treats in his basket. He was a little out of it and cold, but loved every second of it.

He got to turn in his pink egg for a prize and got a cool green sand bucket that he can play with in Grandma's pool this year.
After the hunt was over he wanted to play on the slides for a little bit.

Daddy's Birthday!

March 12

Usually we have a big birthday bash for my Mom and Dev, since they share the same birthday.
This year was very laid back, because Mom's on a mission, and everyone else was gone too.
Devan just wanted to hang out and enjoy the day.
He went to the gym, we took a little bike ride to the park(my pregnant body couldn't go too far).
We went to check out the new "Dick's Sporting Goods."
Ate dinner at Olive Garden.
Picked up a "Never On Sundae" from PF to go.
Came home and sang and ate our dessert.
I felt bad that I didn't make him a cake, but he didn't want it.
He's not a cake kind of guy.
He wanted a "Never on Sundae" or Cheesecake and I don't even have a pan to make a cheesecake(maybe I should invest in one).
It was a perfect day...for me at least.
I hope He had as much fun as I did just enjoying the day with my little family.
It almost felt like we were out of town for the day.

...When we were shopping for Devan a birthday present Ty INSISTED on "A RED Shirt!" He would get mad at me if I picked up anything else.
So the day before his birthday Ty just kept telling Dev, "Daddy I got you a red shirt!" He was so excited to watch him open it too. ha

Spoiled boy! Thank you Thank you to my Mom and Dad too!!

Yep, we had to stop and get a happy meal for Ty boy before we ate at Olive Garden...

A Day at the Park

March

It was such a beautiful day.
We gathered some cousins, brought lunch, and headed to the park.
Ty insisted we go to the "yellow slides".
The kids had a lot of fun playing, while the rest of us chatted.
I'm so ready
