Fishies

While Robyn was at the hospital with Naia, Mitch and I went to visit and then took the kids to the park quick.
They have this fun park with little rides.
Well, we forgot to bring any cash and only had enough for 1 ride.
Malia wanted to go on the fishies SO bad!
Ty had never been on a ride before and was just excited to get on with Malia.
It started to go around and he was looking back at Malia because he wasn't so sure about it...
 He's really unsure...

 Starting to panic a little...
 And he's done! haha

Tuesday Tidbits

01. Nobody was kidding when they said, "Terrible Twos".
02. He is happy and laughing and kissing me one second,
then all of a sudden he throws himself to the ground, screaming, and hitting everything in sight.
I honestly don't know what to do when he does this.
03. He hasn't been eating very good for the past week and a half, although he drinks A LOT.
04. Ever since he hasn't been eating, he cries...A LOT.
Every little thing sets him off.
I'm not sure if it's just the terrible twos or because he's not eating.
05. Sometimes I feel like his allergies aren't a big deal and there's plenty to eat,
other times I just want to throw in the towel and can't think of anything to feed him.
06. He went through a phase of, "yucky farms"(lucky charms), but hardly eats them in this phase of no eating.
07. I bought some turkey burgers and he loved it with "dip".
I've been trying to find lots of new things for him to eat.
He has a hard time with new things, but usually will like it if I can get him to eat it.
08. He loves to look at pictures and watch videos of himself on our iphones.
He laughs so hard at him on the video.
I love that he knows exactly how to get to anything he wants on my phone.

Hanging out

Tuesday Naia was being really fussy(which is not normal for her), and wouldn't eat well.
She got a fever and Robyn decided to take her into the ER that night at about midnight.
Since she was under 1 month they were really concerned and had to do every test.
They did blood tests and a spinal tap to test for meningitis.
She was hooked up to IV antibiotics and antivirals.
She had to stay all day Wednesday and Thursday and got to come home on Friday morning.
Thankfully she just had a virus, but it still wasn't fun at all.
She was an angel baby the rest of the time and hardly made a peep.

I was SO glad I got to be there during all of this.
I got to just stay home and play with Ty and Malia and enjoy them.
We watched movies, colored with chalk, made cookies, read books, made pretend food...
I got a small taste of what it would be like to have twins.
I went to the store once and everyone thought they were twins. ha
I definitely have a new appreciation for any mom that has twins and goes out much. :)

The Park

We grabbed McDonalds "happy eal" and headed to Mitch's school to have lunch with him.
Of course, Ty face planted on the cement first thing and had a good road rash/goose egg on his head.
After lunch we went home and headed for the park.
Ty hadn't been to the park since Spring because it's just too hot so I didn't know how he'd like it.
He definitely wanted the smaller play ground, but LOVED it.
They played on the slides, threw lots of dirt, chased the ducks, and chased eachother.
Baby Naia just slept and I didn't even get a picture of her.

-He was really unsure of the wobbly bridge. He crawled the first couple times. ha-

Iowa Bound

We drove home from the wedding weekend on Sunday morning,
did some laundry, went to sleep for a few hours, woke up at 2:30am,
got Ty out of  bed and headed to Vegas.
Thankfully Ty slept the whole way down.
We got all checked in at the airport and said our goodbyes to Daddy.
I cried just being anxious about leaving Devan for the week all by myself with Ty on the flight.
Ty freaked out when I had to take his sippy and blanket from him to go through the x ray machine,
but we made it to the gate and he was a happy boy.
He did SO good on the flight and ended up having his own seat
(we didn't buy him a ticket because he wasn't 2 yet).
He fell asleep for about 45 minutes of the flight.
I was so glad we had his "toys" and my iphone to keep him entertained and happy.
As soon as we landed he jumped up on his seat and yelled, "Yay! Mia's house!"
He was so excited to play with Malia.

Reception

August 26

The reception turned out perfect.
I didn't even take pictures of the decor...I was too busy chasing my boy.
All of my pictures were from others grabbing my camera.
I'll have to get some from Mikki when they're all done. She does such a good job!
He was seriously running out the door every chance he had and thought it was SO funny.
They had an ice cream/yogurt bar that was so yummy, so that was dinner for us. :)
We didn't have time to even stop and eat, so thankfully I had a few snacks for Ty
and Kelly and Whitney came with a Happy Meal and some extra fries. ha
We talked, laughed, and danced the night away.
Considering what a  long day it was, little Ty boy did pretty dang good.

This boy takes his "bwankies" everywhere! ha
