So I found this on a friend's blog and it is the saddest story! I feel so blessed to have a normal pregnancy so far. This is a story about a girl who found out her baby has no brain and was told she wouldn't live out of the womb for more than a few hours or so. She lived over 3 months and they don't understand how. She has a ton of pictures and videos and posts all of the time. You should go read it here.

{20 Weeks}

I have hit my half way mark, and I can honestly say it's been great so far!
-I haven't thrown up at all.
-I was only nauseous at nights before 14 weeks.
-I'm growing every day.
-I couldn't eat Bajio until a couple weeks ago.
-I couldn't have mint flavored gum until a couple weeks ago.
(hard for me because I chew gum a lot...I just switched to fruity).
-I crave red meat.
-I have felt him move quite a few times now, but it's still not regular.
-Devan felt him move for the first time last week.
-We're definitely having a boy!
-My blood pressure and heart rate were probably unhealthy
for him this last weekend. (I was up in Ogden taking my
final board exams)
-I've noticed my emotions are a little closer to the surface,
and I get bugged really easy.
-I can still wear my normal pants, but most of them I do up with
a rubberband. :)
-I just got my first real maternity dress from my mom.
-I have now purchased his crib and changing table. (just can't wait to set them up).

(Robyn I promise I'll take a picture...I just always forget when Dev's here to take it)

Graduation!!

May 1st

I finally did it! It went by really fast, yet it seemed like the longest, hardest 2 years ever. I'm so excited to finally be done with books and studying and tests. I'm excited to finally be able to work in a dental office and clean someone's teeth without getting a check every 20 minutes. I'm SO excited to be done with the drama from all of the instructors. I'm most excited to have a job that will enable me to be a mom and maybe work a little if I want to, and be able to spend a lot of time with Devan again.
My dental hygiene class held our "Pinning Ceremony" on April 30, the night before graduation. It was a nice dinner in the Gardner Ballroom and it was fun to have my family there to support me. I was very surprised to be awarded the "excellence in Periodontics" award.
Graduation was long, as all graduations are, but I had so many emotions. I was sitting with 14 girls who I came so close to these last 2 years. Although I'm so excited to be done with school, I will definitely miss the girls. We've had so much fun together and been through so much, that nobody else even understands. I'm so glad I was able to be part of such a great class and have so many friends while going through the program.
After graduation we went to eat at Honolulu Grill(one of my favorites) and it was Karaoke night. It was a lot of fun, but the next day was more fun. We had a big BBQ at my mom's house. I just want to thank everyone who supported me this weekend and these past 2-4 years. I know I haven't been the most fun person to be around. Now I get to focus on a career and being a mom. What an exciting adventure!

-We all had teeth on our hats and my parents got me the beautiful lei-
-Everyone in Dev's family who came to support-

-My family(minus Mitch and Robyn...they were missed)-

-Cousies-

-Grandma Pierce-

-Grandpa and Grandma Gubler-

I did it! My uncle Shan is the one who gave me my diploma.

-Some of us before graduation-

-Pinning Ceremony-

-Me and Skye(couldn't have done it without her)-

-My biggest support of all- Thanks for putting up with me babe!
