Hey peeps, 2 weeks no post le.
-Got back stupid report book.. 24/199 level.. 8/39 class.. people say i so good.. but im lazy, thats a fact that is difficult for me to change and for you to say..
So.. Heres what happened in my so called LAME WEKK :D

Monday
-Go school for art prog.
-One 'cher look like Mr. Tan Chee Siong taught us.AndAnd.. his name also Mr. Tan! LOL super weird. for a moment i thought it was really him.
-Thought us brush painting. a goldfish and a panda. I extra , so draw additional dog and bird( looks like pok pok keh, CHICKEN )
-Quite fun la. Joel kept trying to vandalize my work, but hey, too bad!
-Then Sean and Joel started quarelling for a stupid reason.. by Sean,painting a "paint drop" well infact nothing, on Joel's shirt. He angry until fa mao kay! Ask him chill le .. but still to no avail ^^ but end up okay la, still friends :D
-School end, MAC-ed.
-Went to JunJie's house. Had prata at prata shop first. JunJie treat us woor. So generous! THANK YOU AH! :D
-Guys all played PS3 and Wii.. i bo liao .. then run whole house dong wu dong bo.
-Spammed badminton with Mostly, Sean, Bob, Chitwan, HOST and elisha.
-Brought Joel and Elisha to bus stop with Host. then sayonara. :D
-Spammed more badminton ( bare footed )
-JunJie father sent us home. What a kind heart family are the Khew's :D Aligato Gazaimaz ( dunno how spell LOLOL )

Tuesday
-Argued with joel for idk what shitty reason.
-Pissed off -.-
-Went go Sembawang Country Club Golf Range. Ms Yeo told me to tell that to the driver. But i kept saying Sembawang Country Range or smth. LOLOL. i bodoh sia..
-At first emo -.- cause of that ..
-putting was boring..
-Chipping was also boring..
-Range! FUN LIKE HELL CAN! can shoot til 90m - 150m ^^
-Tried the big golf club. whoa diff like **** ? Whole class watching.. daryl, Jessica also tried.
-Lunched at there.
-Countinued playing..
-Guys so engrossed in Dual Masters.. wth..
-Brought us back to school. AMK hub with Anson. Bo liao le, then bus-ed 138 home.
-Sleep for whole afternoon.
-At night got japan exchange curtural prog.
-Met new jap. friends. :D their school 90%girls 10%boys sia. LOL.
-They kind and sociable uhh. :D
-Slept l8 at night.

Wednesday
Dont want talk la.. no mood the whole day.. crap ..
BUT CONGRATULATE THOSE WHO WON FOR SPORTS DAY! YOU MADE US PROUD! Jiayous kayy ?

Thursday
-Normal day.
-Almost SSRP WHOLE DAY SIA
-Classroom cleaning .. helped to push tables, stack chairs, sand table with other guys. girls mostly clean windows and some sand table too.
-Miss Yeo Confiscated my phone .. WTH.. i was checking time -.- 2nd time le..
-Mac. Then rush back for Choir..boring ttm.. forgot what i did.
-Walk with bryan and matthew to bus stop. met Yan hao at hub ( he boo-ed me ) so not scary :D
-Bus-ed 169 home.

Friday
-Woke up early to mac with Yok Hui, Klara and Joel at AMK hub. Fun ttm can? haha.. ordered pancake == duper exp.
-Joel spammed tap tap with yok hui and klara. LOL. good at fireflies.. make sure you zap their butts til no more fire!haha..
-Briefing for table painting == lame sia..
-Painting tables.. Fun.. was forced to put on my apron by the three musketeers. AKA Yok hui , joel and jerry. but declined ^^
-End up they also nvr wear.
-Went to help 1/1 aft finished painting our class. Chatted with family .
-Then that Mr. ***** ? nvr give us CIP hours just cos we not at our class.. WTFH -.-!! GND SIA.
-Opp. with Mei, NuEr , Joel. Wanted to treat mei to bbt, but she kept decline .. then force me to take back moneh.. smart uh! put it around my bottle holder.
-Saw Yuxin, Jonathan, Weixuan, BAND PEEPS.
-Walked tgt to bus stop. Bused 74 to hub with joel, jia wei and nu er.
-Then farewell le.

Hi, YO PEOPLE ON EARTH! WE HAVE LANDED ON E MOON! LOL. OKOK CHANGED BLOG SKIN LE. ENJOY!. Hoped you like it :D

As you all know, exams are over, YEAH MAN, FREE FROM BIRD CAGE.
However .. sibei bored in class ._. nothing to do . Like mostly SSRP the whole day?! LOL.
In the past, i use to dwell on having SSRP's .. but now.. i don't, AMAZINGLY :D
Today, arrived to school 5 mins be4 bell ring, Jerry came to me and "blahblahblah" just like an old woman, LOL.
-had assembly
-class, Ms Yeo gave out English results. SIBEI HAPPY ^^ i thought i would retain, i never finished my compo! HOLY COW?!!
Compo- 20/30
Letter Writing- 19/30
Summary- 13/25
Compreh- 15/25

THANK GOD I've passed :D

-maths lesson at comp. lab watch what movie ( thought was shawn the sheep .. ._. )
-then went for chinese. WALAO, Bui tahan .. class so chaotic.. ._.
-RECESS-
-Came back for SSRP.. thought we could go for PE as cher' said that we could have PE lessons after going throught science pap. SADLY, did not ._. haiz..
-ICT! GOT "EXAM" LOL. okok la :) haha.
-Lunch at school
-Volley with classmates. dont emo leh... come join .. :)
-Council meeting, quite boring :O yawn..
-Bused 169 home. saw Yuxin at busstop.

I'm not embarassed to post my results , as i know that i could have done MUCH MUCH MORE BETTER if i had studied hard enough .. was playing com previous days during these few days. I had to admit it , SORRY!

I know guys all love the periodic tables.... BUT hey, I am not doin it today, so.... too bad, HAHA.

I will be doing Seperation of Mixtures....
SO please enjoy...

What are Mixtures... ?
-Mixtures are subtances( mostly ) in nature, and are not found in their pure form.
Examples: granite rock, milk, sea water, air, alloys( 2 diff.metals )...

There are 5 Seperation Methods....
-Magnectic attraction
-Filtration
-Evaporation
-Distillation
-Paper chromatography

Magnetic Attraction
-It can be used to seperate magnectic materials from those that are not attracted by magnets.
-Usage...: in food processing and salvaging scrap iron and steel.

Filtration
-Used to seperate an insoluble solid from a solid liquid mixture
-Either one object in that mixture that you want to filter, must be insoluble, and the other one soluble...
-Residue( insoluble ) will be found on the filter funnel after filtration.
-Filtrate( soluble ) will be found in the beaker, after it has successfully passed through the filter funnel.
-Uses...Vacuum Cleaners.. Coffee Makers.. Water treatment..

Evaportaion
-Used to seperate a dissolved solid and solid liquid mixture
-Solvent evaporates and therefore, the residue remains..
-If you want to get an insoluble... Evaporation is the one to use....

Simple Distillation
-Used to seperate pure liquid from a solid-liquid or liquid-liquid mixture. ( see notes for illustration... paiseh )
-The process of obtaining a pure liquid( solvent ) from a solution( solute + solvent )
-Solution is boiled till solvent reaches its boiling point. It then changes into gaseous steam, where it is pure.
-It then travels to the condenser and condensed to form the pure liquid which is collected as the distillate.

Distillation
-Distillation is a combination of 2 processes; boiling, followed by condensation.
-has 2 versions. Simple and Fractional Distillation.

Fractional Distillation
-Used to separate two or more miscible liquids.
-Miscible Liquids are liquids that are completely soluble in each other.
-Examples: Ethanol and water...
-MAJOR DIFFERENCE; it has a fractionary collumn.
-Fractionary Column separates liquids in order of boiling points.
-Liquid with the lowest boilding point boils first and its vapour travels up the fractionating column, condenses in the condenser and is collected as distillate.
-Read notes for more info. Ps. No diagram diff. explain.. ==

Chromatography
-Method of separating and identifying mixtures, especially in industry.
-EXAM [ tested on paper chromatography only related things ..! ]
-Seperates mixtures based on the solubility of the different solutes in the mixture in a solvent.
-Different solutes have different solubilities in a solvent.

PAPER CHROMATOGRAPHY
-Used to seperate small amounts of mixtures like the coloured substances in ink and dyes.
-The solvent chosen for chromatography must dissolve the dyes present in the ink.
STEPS
1) Draw a line with pencil
2) Dot ink on line
3) Put it in solvent, pencil line MUST be 2cm above solvent.
4) Wait...

-SOLVENT CHOSEN IS IMPORTANT AS THE DYS MUST BE SOLUBLE IN THE SOLVENT!

-Identical dyes travel the same distance up the paper, they have the same solubility in the solvent chosen.

Religions and Philosophies...

-Religion is the belief in a god or gods and the activities that are connected with this belief, such as rituals or prayers. The teachings of a religion influence the way its followers behave and lead their lives.

-Philosophies are the beliefs that do not involve a god or gods, which also guides people in their lives other than Religions. Three philosophies that had a great impact on life in ancient China were Confucianism, Legalism and Taoism. These Philosophies continue to have an impact on our lives today.

INDIA

Hinduism

HInduism was the first religion to appear in India. Historians do not really know how or when Hinduism started. However, by reading and understanding sacred Hindu texts, such as the VEDAS ( collection of peoms sung in praise of the Aryan gods ) and the BHAGAVAD GITA ( " Divine Song of God " ).

-Hinduism is at least 3 000 years old. Oldest religion in India.
-Hinduism developed slowly over many centuries thriough a mixing of beliefs of the Aryan and the Indus people.

3 Main Features of Hinduism are.....

-The worship of many gods
-The belief in non-violence
-The belief in reincarnation

Belief in reincarnation
-Hindus believe that the soul reincarnates or is reborn several times. Person does good deeds, soul reincarnated in to body of person of a higher caste. Vice-versa for bad deeds done... [Extra info.. *The soul can be freed from this cycle of rebirth if enough good deeds are done in several lives.]

Impact of Hinduism
-Important religion that affected almost every aspect of life.
-Believe that caste born to was the result of his/her actions in his/her previous life. Therefore accepting the caste they were born into.
-They would try their best to be a good person, so that he/she would be reborn into a higher caste.
-Indian kings had to make sure that everyone followed the rules of the caste system as divine rulers.

Spread of Hinduism
-Spread to SouthEastAsia [ 200CE - 1200CE ]

-The gods Brahma ( the Creator ), Shiva ( the Destroyer ) and Vishnu ( the Preserver ), whom the ancient Hindus prayed to, are still being worshippped today...
-Other aspects of Hinduism, such as the caste system, have become less important to present-day Hindus..
