Hay'n and Spray'n

Today I sprayed the young hay. I can't believe I am spraying at the end of October and the weather is still cooperating! We also were able to finish the hay hip, hip, hooray!!! Dad has been helping with the raking and started hauling. After the hay is hauled we still need to plant the wheat which will keep us busy for awhile!!!

Havin' A Hay Day!
Today my Dad and Andre came to Delta to help with the hay. Andre was the official rake driver, my Dad ran the baler and I sat on the porch, drank lemonade and watched. Just kidding, I was the gopher (definition: go for this, go for that). We were able to bale 150 acres which made for a great day!!! Thanks again Dad and Andre for all the help.

October Hay Fest!
We have been scrambling to get the hay crop in before winter pays us a visit. Luckily my friend Jake came with his swather to help with the cutting! It was a lot of fun to have two swathers in the fields. Thanks again Jake for your help!! You da man!!!
