catching up!

So...I've decided I'm the WORST blogger ever!!! I need to keep up with stuff. But a lot has happened! I GRADUATED! I'm finally done with nursing school! This last year and a half has probably been the worst and the best of my life. It was so hard, but it feels good to be done. Like I accomplished something big time! But, I only have my associate's of nursing, so I will be getting my BSN as soon as I get into a stupid program! I just want to get started and get done!
We also decorated for Christmas! It was fun to put up our tree. I bought a ton of ornaments and made colorful stockings, so now our tree looks like a Dr. Suess tree! It's all bright and colorful. I'm so excited for Christmas! It's my second favorite holiday (after Halloween, of course!) I love shopping for presents and picking out the perfect gift for people! I think I have most of my shopping done! I just have a few more things to get for Derrick and then I'm finished!

a lot of happenings

so this last week or so a lot has happened; it was my birthday (big 23 baby!), it was Halloween (my fave holiday of all time), and my sweetie and I were married for 2 years! So a lot of big things. I can't believe that I spent the entire last year of my life in nursing school. Two birthdays and two anniversaries in nursing school; kinda sad but what can ya do! Derrick spoiled me. I came home and he had blown up balloons and put a happy birthday sign in the living room! We had the family over for cake and ice cream, which was fun. My sister in law made a comment like I was too old for "birthday parties," but I say, no kids so I still get to celebrate!! for Halloween we dressed up as pebbles and bambam and then went to my parents to watch a scary movie!! no big plans for us! But it was still fun to dress up and answer the door. for our anniversary we went to the Anniversary Inn in SLC to spend a night. it was fun to just get away and spend time together. we are planning on a mini-trip in December when neither of us are in school. That's what we get for getting married in the middle of the semester!

I now have a blog; how 'bout that

I really don't know what to do with this...I'm pretty sure that it will take me a long time to figure this out and that I won't write very much at first, but we shall see! I want to figure out how to put pictures up, because they are fun! I also think that I need to steal Miranda's idea and take pictures of my house, especially because I have so many cute Halloween decorations! I need to clean it first...oh well! But here are my decorations!
