So much has happened...

Since my last post... (yes in April), SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED!!

* Finished my FIRST year of nursing school!!
* Dylan graduated from Preschool
* Moved to a new home in Roswell that is walking distance from a good school for Dylan
* Quick trip to SLC that I wish was longer
* Found out that we will be moving to Allentown, PA June 1st of next year!!

Ok, maybe that list isn't as large as I thought, but in depth it is some HUGE exciting news!

Well... there you have it!  Short and sweet... with some cute photos of SLC and our cousins!

Holy... We got a PUPPY!!

FIRST... Some pictures of the little ones...

New Real Salt Lake gear from ABU! - Thank you Abu!!

"If you believe then just stand up on your feet... and shout it out REAL!"

Lets go to the Humane Society ... again!

We almost got her... she was EXTREMELY shy.
Ok... as if I don't have enough going on... (Says Aunt Becky)... well, you are SO right!!  I have one month left to complete the first year of nursing school... and Eddie finally checked out as a full CPC!!  He has now finished his training and is able to work as a Certified Air Traffic Controller.  Ok... I know he was doing that before, however, he was doing training the entire time, which means that if he failed a "pass off" then he was out of a job... end of story.
WELL... He has been telling me that as soon as he checked out he wanted a dog.   Those who know me, know very well that I am NOT an animal person... no seriously, I grew up with a Turtle, who we found on the street in a flood,  who lived in a cardboard box in the furnace room.  (Thanks Mom).
SO, Spring break when Cindy (Eddie's Mom) came down for a quick surprise trip, we got a puppy...Eddie got his wish!  We have been visiting the humane society for many days, even a few weeks, and heard that we could adopt from the pound, so they we headed there.  We found the sweetest baby girl Heeler Mix.  She is growing on me all too quickly (until she pees on the floor).

Welcome to our family... Kayla (y in the name like Dylan) she is about 10 weeks old, and came home with ticks, a parasite in her intestine, and kennel cough.  Welcome to parenthood again!

Roswell's NEWEST CERTIFIED CONTROLLER and ...Isn't she sweet...

She came home with tons of POOP from the kennel, and her two brothers we left behind.  A bath was in order!

I am SO glad that Cindy was here to help give Kayla her first bath.

She was so good!

ALL Clean!

Ready to play ... but first... the VET, Shots are on the menu.

She was SO tired after she received her first set of vaccinations.
Adriana was trying to make her comfortable with the lion (chew toy) pillow.

Both ... fell in LOVE!

Easter!

I am bummed that I missing our annual vacation in Newport Beach with the family, but because of living in a place that is SO far from everything... and extremely hard to try to leave... ok, and I am in school... I had to stay in Roswell with the kids.  This year it didn't turn out too bad, we were able to attend an Easter Egg Hunt with one of the "flexi" families!  Dylan was SO excited, and Adriana realized from the first egg at school that each one contained something yummy, so she was not as interested in finding many... just opening one!
Dylan was trying to make faces... and this is the only one Adriana is looking!!  Since we don't do the whole church thing... this was a great reason to buy a $3 dress for Adriana.
She was beautiful and when she wouldn't let me take it off.. that was even better!!

Dylan and his friend Taylor!  She is 6 but came over to the 5 year old area to hunt with Dylan!

NO Parents allowed on the grounds... so Emily too Adriana.  They seriously cautioned us off...

Looking for prizes in the eggs!

Dylan didn't get any prizes... that is ok, the Easter Bunny comes to houses too!

I had to get a family photo...

NEVER keepin up!

I am horrible at blogging!!  I seem to add pictures much better on facebook or sending them to one or two people.  Being in school, plus keeping up with my two... oh, AND blogging... just not working too well!  I LOVE reading others blog posts however, and keeping up on everyone else, yet I have had some requests to continue to keep this one going, at least once a week.  Well... I will try... to at least add some photos!

Dylan is 5 and a half, in school and doing so well!  He started his 4th soccer season, and loving it.  Scoring his first goal of the first game.

Adriana...well, she is adorable, and super sassy!  She is completley opposite Dylan, in everyway.  She still doesn't use words much, and for being 18 months old, kinda makes me a little uneasy, but she communicates and tries to talk some so... I guess it will work itself out.  When she wants a snack she will bang on the pantry door with a little squeal, and when she is thirsty she sticks out her tongue and says ahhh.  When she is tired, she will grab her blanket and walk to her crib, and when she wants out of her diaper she will bring you a new one and roll to the floor!

They are both growing up SO fast, and I hate that I can't be near friends and family to have them be apart of our lives and little moments.  I am homesick ALL the time!!

SISTERS!!!

Just the other day I was talking to Amy on the phone and was talking about how she, nor anyone from my family really, would come to Roswell, NM.  Really there is not much here besides family and some alien friends, but knowing that, I knew they wouldn't be visiting in my lifetime... well, I was SO wrong!!  She said she had a hard time talking to me because she knew that they would be coming down for my birthday!  I was hesitant to open the door when the bell rang because it was late, and we weren't expecting anyone... and Roswell has had multiple breakins, and people coming to the door to overtake you.  (no joke)  What a freak'n awesome surprise!!

Claudia... IN MY HOUSE!!! After they first arrived...
We ended up taking them out to the airport to see the crazy amount of planes that are no longer in commision... and to see ... ELVIS'S plane!!  YEP, they got to see the plane and be inside, but because it is private property, I am afraid to post any pictures of us inside.

AMY dressed her... I had NO part in that!

ELVIS Presley's plane

Drinking with the locals!

I had a great weekend and am SO blessed to have such great sisters!  Thank you Eddie for keeping such a big surprise!

Thankful

So many things to be thankful for this morning, and I know that many... many family members do not agree with me...but, I am thankful for the opportunity to actually vote in a state that my voice was the majority and not the minority!  I guess that would be one perk for living in New Mexico?!

I am also thankful for my cute little ones... Dylan isn't so little, but he will always be my baby boy.  He is SUPER smart and doing little addition and subtraction problems while we are baking, or playing Yahtzee (I never thought I would have a Yahtzee partner!!)

Adriana is a handful, however, I think she is just actually a normal child.  I was blessed by an abnormal Dylan ...  she gets into everything, she is climbing on furniture and will walk around saying "eeese" if I have the camera out.  She also will say "uhuhho", but that is pretty much it.

This is her actual bed head!

The best and only photo I could get with them together at the pumpkin patch

Halloween

Speechless!

Dylan will not go anywhere without those cowboy boots... uggh!

So much to do... so little time!

It seems that I have absolutely NO time to get online and blog... however, after checking out those I follow... I am not the only one that has a hard time!

I have started Nursing School, FINALLY, and hope to be able to get everything done in the two year program, however, it is a bit concerning that the prior classes have their pictures up and only 15 people or less are on the picture... my class started with 49.  Oh well, I will just have to keep up with my studies and do what is best for me.

Adriana is now 1.  I think we gave her at least 3 parties, one in SLC, one with a friend whose child also turned one, and then one with just us.  Spoiled girl!  Dylan is now 5 and is still a little guy!  He started pre-school in August and loves it, and asks to stay all day so that he can play with his friends.  He is so smart and just missed the cutoff for Kindergarten, so I am so grateful we found a place that he really likes and seems to learn a lot.

I wish I had something profound to say or blog about... but I am at a loss of words. SO many pictures below!!
