BYU VS Michigan
When we heard that BYU was going to Ann Arbor to play U of M, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to visit. We met up with our good friends the Romneys and Winders. We loved walking down memory lane.
First stop: Plymouth Orchards. We have a picture from every fall we went there just like the one below. The orchards were among one of our favorite fall activities.
Brook, me, Shana
In front or our apartment, so many good good memories came flooding back.
The moms were all out talking and letting their kids play. The toys from in the sandbox were exactly the same ones that were there when we lived there. Nothing had changed, and that made me happy.
The big blue bus with Winders.
The Sonntags had a dinner for us with some old friends that were still around. Amy, Rachel, and Dianna were such good friends to me my last year we lived there. Good quality girls right there!
Right before the game in front of the Big House.
It was so much fun to be in the big house. The game was a complete blow out, and Michigan killed BYU. I was hoping for a good competitive game. It was quite the bummer!!
During half time we ran over and got to see the Mangelsons. Always good to see them, I wish we could have spent even more time with them.

September Little Things
September is definitely up there as one of my favorite months. I love the start of a new school year, crisp air, fall foliage, soccer, collage football, soup season, and baking. Oh man the list could go on. Here is a little look into our September.
S'mores with our the Quails across the street.
Brookie was missing and we found her just like this in the bath tub.
We check on the kids every night before we head to bed. The girls don't share a bed, I'm not sure how Brookie ended up with Kate. I am sure they were up to something.
Our neighbors came over to watch the U of M vs. Oregon. Kate and Cami are two peas in a pod I tell you.
Kate loves working with me in the kitchen, and she learned how to make pizza quesadillas.
It was a rare moment to have one on one time with Luke, and he was over the moon happy about helping me make rice crispy treats.
The leaves in our neighbor hood starting to change colors. Pictures don't do it justice. When this evening sun is shining on the trees they look on fire. Oh goodness, I love fall!!!
Ya know, just chillin in the front sit. Luke and Benson jump at the chance of climbing in Derek's car.
Bike trailers are amazing, it has opened a whole new world for us. Makes it so the whole family can ride bikes together.
Here we are at Orchard park. FHE bike ride. I love doing these kind of activities with the family, and I sure hope our kids remember these memories.

Yep, it must be Tuesday. The boys hear the garbage trucks and they start running to watch them. I love how easily entertained kids are.
Luke's play group is the BEST thing ever for Luke. He looks forward to every time, and he calls all these little friends his buddies. We did it last year, and this year too. So he is very comfortable with all these kids. What a great bunch of kiddos!!!
Cole Wilde, Graham Jensen, Alexa Fijardo, Luke Osborne, Grace Shafer, Liam Hansen, and Miles Barker.
Love notes from Brooklynn, that girl loves writing notes and receiving them.
Luke's lego airplane.
Derek won tickets to the circus that came to Portland through Intel (Intel provides a lot of our entertainment). It was later in the evening, so we just took the girls and left the boys at home with a babysitter.
We were all impressed!!! I seriously had to close my eyes multiple times, because I was afraid someone was going to die from the extreme stints they were pulling off.
Kate was star of the week, pretty big deal to be the line leader in kinder.
Super hero brothers to the rescue!!! I love when we have a slow morning at home, and these boys can play play play until their little hearts are content.
This photo is from Benson's first day at nursery. He walked right in, no problemo! When I went to pick him up he burst right into tears as soon as he saw me, like he had been holding it in the whole time. I was worried he wouldn't go back, but he has done great. They haven't had to get us once. And of course all the nursery leaders are in love with our sweet boy!
We had a free afternoon after school. The weather was perfect and the kids were happily play (which ya know, isn't always the case).
Kate helping out in the kitchen again.
Snuggles for Daddy.
The boys nap after church, and we enjoy our quiet Sunday afternoons.
And that's a wrap.
