Our Fourth Girl!!

Well we just found out we are expecting another baby girl in early September!! Four girls what am amazing blessing from the Lord! So far she appears health! She was wiggling so much the entire ultrasound the tech had a hard time getting her picture. Derek and I really didn't care either way what the gender of the baby was. I think with my third pregnancy I really wanted a boy, but this time I didn't care.
It has been a crazy journey so far in my pregnancy. The doctors have been watching me closely and have been more concerned about other health issues then the baby. I have lived at the doctors office since the end of January until now. In fact I had 3 doctors appointments in one day just yesterday. They have screened me for gestational diabetes twice, GI disorders, and cancer. To say the least between college, throwing up 1-3 times a day till 15 weeks, frequent sick kids, and all the labs and tests, it has been a difficult last few months. Thus far all my tests have come back negative and I am starting to feel like me again. I have learned that I cannot let the worries in life get to me because Gods plan for me and my family is far greater than any plan I can have. I have learned to trust Him more and just let go. When I trust in the Lord there is greater peace in my life and I can see His plan for me start to unfold.
Now we must anxiously wait the arrival of our baby at the end of the summer!

Grandma's House 2011

We had so much fun visiting Grandma and Grandpa in New Mexico this year. There was lots of fun and games, cousins, zoo trip, the aquarium, date nights, and of course swimming and swimming and swimming. Kylie actually learned to swim this time while we were there. It was good to enjoy the nice weather since our summer has been so cool and rainy this year!

Kylie Graduates from Kindergarden!

This is the one picture I got of Kylie and her teacher Mrs. Kinnan on her last day of school! We loved having Mrs. Kinnan as Kylie's teacher she was so sweet and caring. We will miss her so much!! Now Kylie will not only be starting first grade, but she will be at a new school and be doing the challenge program. Kylie has some amazing abilities and was always the top of her class though she was the youngest kid in the class. Since she has done so well we decided to have her take the test for the challenge (or gifted) program that our school district offers. So in May she went and had to take a 2 1/2 hour test to see if she qualified. I had now idea how she would do and we didn't want it to be a big deal either way if she did well or not. I just told her to do her best and that we didn't care how she did. When she was done she came home and announced that there were 45 pages of questions on the test and she was sure that she knew the answer for one of them. Derek and I both thought that was cute that she was sure one was right. Well we didn't think much of it and then a month later we got the results and she did extremely well on the test. It was recommended that we put her in a class at another school for other children that are also advancing at a similar pace. We are so excited for this new adventure and hope that it will be a great experience for Kylie!

Brinley 6 months!

Where has the time been going! I wish I could just freeze my kids at these ages for a while. They seem to be such perfect ages and I feel like being the mom of these three girls is very fulfilling. Don't get me wrong there are still times that are hard, but all and all it is so much easier than I expected. Kylie and Lexi were 2 years apart and Lexi cried alot and was a difficult infant for me. I remember times when I crying when Lexi was young because she was crying, Kylie was throwing a 2 year old fit and we were late to a doctors appointment. I had great fears of being able to care for 3 when 2 seemed hard to me. So we waited a little longer to start trying for number 3 because I was scared. I don't know why that extra year between Lexi and Brinley helped so much for me, but it did. The older girls are able to help more and understand. Brinley is also a fairly content baby. She loves her swing and slept in it for the first 3 months all night. We have spent so much money on batteries I wish we could just have it plugged in! I am just enjoying the little moments that I have with my girls because I know that they will grow up way to fast!!
