More School?

I have decided that I am going to go back to school in September because I have realized that I picked the lowest paying work field I possibly could have. I actually love my jobs. I work at Up to 3, this is a home visiting program for infants and toddlers with disabilities. I also teach preschool for just the next month and a half at a local gym, the All Academy Preschool. It is a great school, I would definitely recommend it. And last but not least I recently took over the management position at Planet Beach for the summer. I really hope I can survive it all. So if I fall off the face of the earth, its not that I don't like you its just that I am probably running around like a maniac. And my thoughts are that if I go back to school, hopefully I can just work one job and stay a sane human being.
I took an admissions test on friday, the Miller's Analogy Test. You know like puppy is to dog as kitten is to ??? except with words no one has ever heard of. I find out in 2 weeks if I scored high enough to enter my program. I felt good about it so I guess we'll see maybe my last name will give me some luck!

Graduation Day!

Samson graduated from puppy school on Monday. He is so cute, especially with that little hat on. The bad thing about puppy graduation is that it really means nothing. It means you paid more than you should to sit in a class with other dogs and hopefully you can learn something while you are trying to hold your dog back from playing with all of the other dogs. It still was fun but probably not totally worth it. Oh well, at least we got a cute picture out of it!

Some of you who read our blog have seen our house, but some of you haven't so I decided to put up a picture of it. I love it. Before living here I never really pictured myself as a stay at home Mom type of person, I just figured I would be bored or something. Since getting the house my opinions have changed. Every day all I want to do is stay at home and do house things! It's funny how experience changes your perspective on life. So now that I am working 3 jobs, running around like a maniac I hope that in the future I am lucky enough to get to be a stay at home Mom.

Happy Birthday Derek

Yesterday was Derek's birthday so I wanted to take a minute to mention some of the things that I love about him...
I love that he makes me laugh, that is why I married him.
I love that he is always so thoughtful of others, not just me everyone around him. He can build people up.
I love that he still thinks I'm beautiful even in the morning when my hair sticks straight up.
I love that he is a hard worker, he has so much ambition.
I love that he is helpful around the house because I don't always have the energy.
I love that he can't get enough of his family and how he has opened his heart to my family.
I love that he thinks his camo shorts look good with anything.
I love that all of the closets in our house are filled with his stuff and not mine.
I love that he puts up with me calling him every 5 minutes.
I love that usually by the time we have left walmart he is best friends with our checker.
I love his laugh, it's infectious.
He is such a good man and I am lucky to have roped him into forever with me. I love you Derek.
