'A huge Christmas Tree in TimeSquare'

Went Cameron highland last weekend, a great trip it was. First we took bus to puduraya and stayed in a hotel near China Town for 1 night. Only 100 a night for a large room, consider ok but no breakfast provided.We had our dinner at McD, just because we were just too tired to walk and search for food. Afterward, we took bus to Time Square and it is not far from puduraya. Bought a nice sweater for Sy, it looks good on her. Its time to get back to the hotel, first we planned to get a bus but we just couldn't find a bus stop so we walked back to the hotel. Then only I realised that although it is not from our hotel, but it will be an tiring walk.

So the next morning we walked to China Town and looked for nice and cheap breakfast. Porridge with herbal tea we ordered and also some kuih, the porridge taste good but the kuih there sucks. I will never try that again.

According to our plan, we will take bus to Tanah rata, a small town in Cameron then only take taxi to our destination, Brinchang. The 4 hours journey was a nightmare. Just right after I stepped down from the bus at Tanah rata, all my breakfast gush out from my mouth and packed in a small plastic bag. Luckily Brinchang is just located at 5km away, or else I will vomit 1 more time. (In fact, I vomited again in the hotel room)

The air was fresh and cold, but I believe the air quality would be better if there were less vehicles in the town. We visited strawberry farm and the cactus farm and its not far away from our hotel. We settled our dinner in a steamboat restaurant, it is indeed a great experience to enjoy steamboat with the cold weather. We went to the famous Brinchang pasar malam and bought some fresh "Crystal corn", the taste is so sweet even you can eat the raw corn. Be aware when you buying the famous Cameron crystal corn as some of the corn are from Ipoh but not Cemeron, and you just don't know how to differentiate. We also tasted the "Honey potato", frankly speaking it taste better then the "crystal corn". Bought a strawberry pillow for Sy and a mini strawberry for 1 of my friend in the pasar malam.

Altough it was just a short trip and we did not visit most of the attraction like tea garden and bee farm, but I still think that it was a nice trip.

My sister came back from Singapore last week, with her boy friend. Quite a nice guy her boy friend is, good manners he has. It seems that he is a quiet person, but actually he has lots of things to share with if you start the conversation first. He bought me a magnetic dart board. Well, I like it as I used to play darts in lab, but I quit for quite a long time since the new R.O is just right under the dart board. I would never wants to see the dart stuck on her Macbook. Although magnetic dart doesn't give you the feeling when the dart strikes the board but still it is better than nothing.


My birthday present from my sister, I forced her to buy it for me or else I do not think that she will buy me a birthday present. The story line is just normal but the way the author describe the scene is fantastic. I finished half of the book and I will read it before I sleep.

Lilo messaged me last week and ask whether I can help her to get her ex-AA as her referee for some master course. So, I went to meet Ms Thong's office in order to get her signature, surprise that she has a typical "teacher face", a real serious face. I know I know, she is a tutor.. but since I started working as R.O and used to mix with those young lecturers and tutors, seems to me that they all look so young and never give a serious face. While waiting for her to sign the letter, I saw it on her white board. Personally I think this is 1 of my problem, and it is just like a wake up call for me.

I have been very busy recently, planned to go cameron highland with Sy but I am just too busy and I just don't have enough time to do what I suppose to finish~! Feel so bad about it, because I know she is so keen to visit cameron highland. I am sorry, my dear.

My aquarium, the air pump stop functioning last week and the "cleaner" died. Frankly speaking, I never taught that "cleaner" will die in this way. He (Please allow me to use 'he') has overcome the first "end of the aquarium" and managed to survive. That time my dad changed the water with fresh tap water, and they all died after half an hour, "cleaner" was the only survivor. R.I.P cleaner, (It makes me recall what Lilo told me: Rest if possible)

下午去惯了水族馆，买了一些装饰品和一些鱼。
结果新来的两尾鱼就在我的小鱼缸里当了霸王，把原本的老虎和青虎鱼逼到了角落。
感觉他们很委屈似的，或许它们本来就不该再一起。
原本空阔的鱼缸也因为两尾鱼和沉木而变得狭窄。
或许我该考虑把一些沉木拿出来了。

报纸最近老是报道一些闹得风风雨雨的党争事件，为了权力，什么都干得出来。
那些人的丑陋嘴脸看了真惹人讨厌，什么同志不同志。。现在都是敌人。
这种狡猾的人，我们怎么能放心把未来交给他们呢？
口口声声为人民，谁知道在重要时刻会不会出卖我们的利益。
这些事情又让我想起..

Friends gathering

Had a xueji friends gathering last weekend, eventually it ends up like a gambler gathering (no money involved). Blame the cafe owner who provides the cards. haha~ Out of 10 attendees, 4 of them are studying in MMU 1 studying in Utem and stay in EP, but the funny thing is we never have a gathering at Malacca.

Stealing people's connection

Thx to my dear neighbor's connection, finally I got myself connected to internet (without his knowing). His network is secured and I have been guessing the passwords since last months: his car plate number, phone number, 12345678 and so on and so on.. and at last I got it right~!! haha... This is how it feels when you are being a thieve, a bandwidth thieve. keke..


Facebook changes our lifestyle. I still remember my last year's birthday, people kept sending sms to my phone and wishing me happy birthday. But yesterday, only few sms reached my phone and when I check my facebook... They so many wishes posted on my wall.. With facebook, you wont forget people's birthday~ (dat's how I remember my friends' birthday).
Sorry for those guys who called to my 012 cellphone, I left my 012 phone at Melaka. If you want to find me, please call the 013 cellphone.

Talking about cellphone, I am planning to change my line from celcom to maxis. Although Celcom claims that they have the widest coverage, but the signal strength in my room sux~! Not only me, even Sy also facing the same problem. Everytime we have to call and recall to continue our conversation and I just can't take it anymore. Not only the voice calls, the celcom broadband can't satisfy me too. Unstable, low speed and kns customer service... and it charges me RM68 per month?? I am going to change it to maxis broadband too, only RM48 per month with higher speed but lower fair policy usage: 2GB. It saves me RM20 and its enough to buy myself 2 McD meals~!

Giving lecture.Tension

If you have taken Radar subject with me.I think you will still remember what ARSM is. ARSM=>Agency of Remote Sensing Malaysia and I going to give lecture to them by next month. Although its only 3 hours class, but with my 4 months experience in antenna design, I think this is gonna get me killed. Think positively, at least Mr.G will handle 1 day internship program and I will get the chance to learn more (previously Mr.G asks me to handle it but due to some reason he will handle it himself, thank god). When I just join the research team, I said: I will be happy if they requires me to handle the classes, because I see it as a recognisation of my skill. But now I do worry, because I know I am still lack of experience and hands on skill.

Now tension is raising slowly as december is coming and I have not done my feeding network! When Dr.K set me the deadline to finish the prototype, I was shocked actually because its a little bit too short but Mr.G gave me a "no problem~" look. I realized that I might have done some mistakes in the past and I should have done something better, but I think (yes I think) I still have time to catch up and fix it.

Microwave In Use

Stay back in lab at night is a weird experience, no students but us.
Some R.Os stay back as well to do their research, it makes me recall what Dr. T said: An engineer who goes company at 9 and left at 5pm will not be a good engineer. Wahahaha. But I am blogging while they are doing research ~, no la.. I am running my simulation now.


Students used to open our door and check what this lab doing and it actually kinda annoying and disturbing. Oa just can't take it anymore and we printed some warning signs to paste on the door. At first we printed a sign board states that "Do Not Enter Without Confined Space Permit", actually none of us understand what does Confined Space Permit mean but Oa said they won't come in since they don't understand it. Hahaha... Afterward, Oa found another one which states "Caution: Microwave In Use". I like this warning, haha... But its true that our lab is doing Microwave project.


Still remember the copper tape? Ym stole some copper tape from Applied EM Lab, it was Epsilon first sem, antenna and propagation, taught by Shahidul. Then we wrote our name on it and paste on our calculator. Haha, and now I got myself 1 roll of copper tape.

2 days in KL @ goodbye Shin Chan

Went KL and sunway lagoon with sis and Gf, had fun there and I got my skin even darker then it was. We stayed at corona Inn, the room is just normal but consider the rate is only 170 per night, so its quite ok. The hotel located just next to Jalan Alor and Sungai Wang plaza, so we can just walk there and cari makan. Didn't spend much in Time Square, I just bought a cheap and nice looking adidas shirt, of course it isn't original. I am running out of money, I won't allow myself to spend too much on 1 shirt.

Sunway is still the same, I prefer natural scene instead of man made building. But the funniest thing was that I didn't go to the beach, because we were extremely tired and nobody wanted to take the 1st step to the beach. I should go.

Shin Chan is dead, so sad. Ya, sad I mean. I believe his death was an accident. Police said they found the pictures in his camera, and the last picture was taken beside the shore.
Episode 49, the last episode of Shin Chan. He tot that he will die in 3 days and eventually it was a misunderstanding. But now, Shin Chan is gone, it is not a joke. Good bye Shin Chan, I will miss you.

Its already 12.41a.m

Its already 12.00 a.m and I am still in lab, tired. Just got my laptop formatted this evening, it was reaching the limit of itself I guess, a 5 elements array patch antenna took more than 1 hour to run, wth? I was so frustrated till I forgot to check my mail box, and now only I received the email from my supervisor, asking me to fabricate antenna. Trying to print out the layout of the antenna, but the lab's printer is just not happy with me and I do not have the driver of my Dell printer with me, lagi lagi the stupid dell website is down, damn it.


Again, I helped Oa to do his measurement test again and this time he rewards me with McD. Wahaha~ So happy, because it has been quite a long time I didn't step in McD. But it was extremely hot and B's skin turns darker.. makes him looks like Malay. We did the measurement test at an empty land near to B's house. It was so hot and you can see the mud is cracking right in front of you. Just try to imagine: Its 12pm, and you need to push a trolly for 100 meters, every 1 meter you have to stop and take measurement, afterward you need to redo it for every 2 meter, then change the target with a larger RCS object (B's car we used), then repeat it with every 1 meter again. Omg~ Its killing 3 of us.

2nd Convocation?

I had a weird dream this morning, I guess its because I saw some convocation pictures on SS' blog. It started with Lilo and I met each other in a hotel a night before convocation and we were talking crap ( what we used to do in class). Suddenly her mum just showed up and scolded me for not respecting them, because I was wearing pyjamas, omg. The scene turned to the convocation, I wore a coat, and in the coat was the same pyjamas again~! And I didn't have robe, so my mum asked me whether I really complete my degree, then only I realized I already attended my convocation last month. I asked one of the convo committees where is my robe, she answered: This is 2nd convocation, so you do not need robe. Then my phone started ringing to wake me up, I wonder who else I would meet if my phone didn't ring.


OA finished his first result measurement for his master project (Ground based radar) and obviously Mr. CYK is satisfied with the result. I spent 1 hour under the hot sun and helped him to setup the experiment, definitely I want to see my name mentioned in his thesis acknowledgment, or else I will bising gau gau..haha.. Joking la MR. Oa, if you are reading my blog, it was fun to play with your radar. The most amazing thing of his radar system is actually his laptop's power supply. He uses a car battery to support his laptop~! wahahha... Its so funny~ If I were him, I think I will get a new laptop battery instead of carrying the big battery around. I think you guys can spot the car battery in the picture.



Finally, after the lesson I learned last 2 week I found the real Wong Kok restaurant and had my lunch there. I ordered France fried rice. Nice.

Emptiness="四大皆空"

I added several friends' blog to my blog today,Ym asked why I named my blog as emptiness, its so emo. But I don't think it is an emo name at all, I wonder what makes her think of emo when she sees the word "emptiness". For me, it means "空", that's all. Now it makes me think of "四大皆空", never mind, forget about it, its too difficult for me to understand the meaning behind it. Actually, the reason why I chose emptiness as my blog title is because... I didn't know what to put and wanted to leave it blank, and suddenly the word "emptiness" just pop up in my mind. So, here comes d emptiness.

Ym and Mo keep asking me to go jb and visit them, even Gf wants me to go. God knows that I am so keen to visit and talk crap with you all. Mo said she really miss those time in MMU and so do I. Although I am taking my master course, but the atmosphere in the lab will never be the same with the classroom's, never. Planned to go jb last weekend, but mum's case ruined all my plans. I spent most of my time in hospital and accompany mum. Thanks to those people who cares about me and mum, thank you.

I got my phone laminated today, it costs me only RM19.99. I think the price is quite ok, since a screen protected would cost me around the same price. The lamination covers the whole phone, even the touch screen. It causes more friction on the screen and makes me hard to slide but at the same time it makes the phone easier to detect my fingers' movement. After all, I am quite satisfied with it.

First post after a busy week

Decided to switch my blog from Wretch to Blogspot, just because most of my friends are using Blogspot instead of Wretch.Its obvious that my secondary school friends prefer Wretch and MMU's friends prefer Blogspot. Anyway, Blogspot's UI is nicer and I like it.

Mum was sent to hospital at her birthday night, by me. Spent a week in hospital and nothing serious, thank God. Home without mum is just like an emptied house, although dad and maid were there.

Sis suggests to go Sunway Lagoon next week, I just can't wait.
It has been more than 5 years I never been to Sunway Lagoon, people said it changed a lot.
The beach, although its fake but I still I hope it won't let me down.
I have fallen in love with beach and ocean after the unforgettable Redang trip.
Just forget all the stupid tasks and relax your mind.
Plan to go Sipadan Island next year, but still trying hard to arrange a suitable time slot.
