I'm Pathetic

It's been since May that I have blogged. I guess I am not going to be as into it as I would like to be. Actually my email & facebook take enough of my time. I will try to maybe update on at least holidays or special occasions, but no promises. Really not that much exciting things have been going on. Just busy as always. I mean seriously busy every single day. Of course Hannah is getting cuter every day. Oh, I quit my job to be a stay at home mom. I thought I would have more time & get so much done, but that is not the case AT ALL. I have enjoyed every minute with Hannah. She is such a blessing to Scott & I. I am also trying to cook at least 3 days a week. We'll see how that goes.

Busy, Busy, Busy

It has been a while since I've been on here. I have had a blog for a little over a month now & I'm already slacking. The biggest reason is I am now addicted to Facebook. Plus, we have plans nearly every single day & I mean it. Hannah is cute as ever still & learning something new every day. She is so amazing. I love watching her & Scott together. This is going to be short & sweet because I am going to try to find time to put some pics up & finish my bible study for the week.

Hannah's Cake

We went to my Aunt Cathy & Uncle Gary's house tonight to make Hannah's cake. They actually did all the work, I just helped a very little bit. They are so talented. Now, my mom & I are going to try to do one for my 30th birthday, but we will probably have to ask for their help. We had a lot of fun. While we were there, Nicole & her family stopped by & brought me Hannah's birth story. It is so special & I love it. It was awesome reliving everything on her birthday.

Hannah's 1st Birthday

Today, May 21, 2009 is Hannah's First Birthday. We had so much fun. She has been in the best mood all day long. We started our day out at our 2nd home, Target. She had her "baby's first birthday" onesie on & it was too cute. The electronics dept worker sang Happy Birthday to her. She loved it & clapped for him when he was done. After Target, we stopped by to see Grandpa Hughes & played a dice game. We got 3 really cute outfits from him & Mitz. Then we met Mema at Costco to buy some stuff for Hannah's b-day party Sat. Then, Nana, Papaw, Mema & Papa came over for pizza & cake. Hannah didn't really eat the cake. I was very surprised. Nana & Papaw got Hannah 2 chairs with a table & umbrella, 3 outfits & some blocks. She loved them. Scott & I got her a red wagon. She played in it all day. She was cracking us all up. She is the cutest thing ever. We just want to thank God for her. It was great celebrating her first year of life. What a blessing she has been to everyone in her path. I remember praying for her & now she is one. People told me it would go fast, but man did it ever.
Happy First Birthday Hannah.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! Just wanted to say thanks for the prayers. Joe got to come home from the hospital Saturday morning. He still isn't himself, but feeling a lot better. We had a great first Mother's day. I woke up to biscuits & gravy Scott made me. Him & Hannah picked me some flowers out of our yard. Plus, Hannah made me a plate with her finger prints as a flowers that says Best Mom in the World. I'm glad she thinks so! Until next time.....

Please pray for Joe & my Mom

Joe (my stepdad) is still in the hospital. He's been in there since Monday evening. The doctor is saying its a migraine. He is sleeping most of the time, but wakes up to eat breakfast, lunch & dinner. Hannah had strep throat this past week, so we haven't been able to visit Joe or keep my mom company. Hannah is much better now & hopefully Joe will be on his way to recovery soon. Please keep my Mom & Joe in your prayers. My mom has been sitting up at the hospital by herself most of the time in the dark with no sound because of Joe's migraine. So needless to say, she is bored. Thanks for your prayers.

Derby Day

This was Hannah's first Derby. We didn't have the winner picked. We were cheering for General Quarters because the owner was from Louisville. I was cheering for Mr. Hot Stuff because that name describes my husband! Scott worked in the yard all day doing landscaping. Mema & Papa watched Hannah for us. I worked inside the house which is never ending. Then, we went to Mema & Papa's to watch Derby 135 on the big screen. Mema made a great dinner; steak, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, green beans, & rolls. I wish I could cook half as good as her. Anyway, Happy Derby 135!

This is my first time blogging so I don't have much to say. It's already past my bedtime, but this stuff is addicting. I plan on getting this really going in the next week. So, keep checking back in!
