On Saturday we went down town to cheer on the runners for the Salt Lake City Marathon. Matt rode in the bike "race" portion of it (it wasn't really a race, just a ride). It was fun for him and he finished so quick! He was way a head of everyone else, so he did really well. It was so fun to watch all the runners and to see the top finishers for the 5K, the 1/2 Marathon & Marathon. I can't believe how fast they run! We had some family & friends run the half marathon portion. Everyone did really well. My friend Jody finished in 1 hour, 40 minutes. That is SOOOOOOO fast! Anyway, it was a fun day, and I highly recommend you to attend next year! Hopefully I'll be the one running it next year!

Nap Time
This picture I had to add. I went in after Amber's nap to get her, and she had perfectly arranged her bear & babies, tucked them in, and placed all three binki's next to them in a pile. She was at the opposite side of the crib reading them a story. It was way cute.
Gals, we need to have a little chat about Mastitis. I've been dealing with this since Friday. It put me out for four days. Ashley, I'm pretty sure you had this with Anna...Amy, did you ever get it? Holy crap, it is awful. I can't even begin to tell you how miserable I have felt. I was seriously OUT all weekend. I couldn't function. Why hasn't anyone ever complained seriously about this before? Am I just a baby? Any secrets to the recovery? I've been on two antibiotics, major pain pills, I've been putting hot packs on, nursing/pumping like crazy, but my clogged ducts are still there...now on both sides!
Is this too much info for a blog?

Cute friends! Parker sure picked a great time to "surprise" us with his arrival. We've had several babies born in the last year! Several at church, six new cousins, and five new friends. I have such great friends (who persuaded me to start this blog) whom I get together with as often as possible, but typically once a month or so. Four of the new babies were there last night for our girls night out party at Jill (Taylor) Steele's house. We have pictured Max Pohlman (Abby Rogers Pohlman) Will Rogers (Sara Holtby Rogers) Parker Deming, and Anna Kelly (Ashley Boyack Kelly).
What a fun time to be born! We were missing Katy Sargent Carter's baby Preston and Amy Plant Rossi's baby Syd.
Deming Family
Get ready to view the most simple blog ever. I don't know how all you do it (have the time that is) to make such cute blogs. Let me put this out there now that this will always be short, and sweet, and will have several typos I'm sure. I love reading all the blogs, especially viewing those of you who have moved away and I've lot contact with. It's way fun to read up on you all and see all the cute kids.
