Hailey Mae Deming 4-27-12

Only 4 months late! It's been a little busy...here is our sweet new baby girl the first few days of life...

 Still in my belly...
 Last pregnancy picture!

Labor was a little rough.  My epidural didn't work great so I was having trouble breathing and relaxing.
Hailey was born just after 6:10 PM on Thursday, April 27th 2012.  She weighed 8 pounds 2 oz. and was 19 inches long.  Labor was long and rough, and I tore quite a bit.  But in the end she came safe and sound and that's all that matters!

Shortly after she was born her eyes opened wide and she was looking at me so intently like she knew who I was.  It was such a great bonding moment!  I fell in love right away!

 The proud big sisters!

 One happy big brother!

Even four months later they still love to hold her!  She is one loved little sister.
 Her first bath!

Hailey is our first child to have a head of blond hair!  Enough to do a little style even!  It was really fun and unexpected to have her be a Blondy.  As soon as I saw the blond hair I felt like she was a Hailey.

Matt wasn't feeling well the day I we went to have Hailey.  He went to the dr. the next morning and found out he had bronchitis.  What horrible timing!  He had to be very careful around Hailey and really didn't hold her much just to be safe.

As soon as the kids came home from Grandpa & Grandma's they were all excited to hold her again and be with her.

We really felt from the beginning that Hailey looked most like Parker.  She continues to look like him more and more every day!  She has the same cute little profile and chubby cheeks!

Bear Lake

We were able to go to Bear Lake over the 24th of July this summer for a Family Reunion.  We had such a great time with cousins, aunts and uncles.  We rented condos at the Ideal Beach Resort, which is on the lake, so we had beach front property that we LIVED at the entire week.  We rented a boat and a jet ski one day, and played at the beach and pool the other days.  We never got tired of it!  We had such a fun time being together.

We had a talent show one evening.  We got to hear Brooke and Sari each sing a solo which was so beautiful!  I never knew they had such incredible voices.  We got to see a few skits done by Taten, and another by Elsie, Jeremy and Ian, the brothers (Steve, Roger, Brian and Eric) sang "Kum Bia" a Morgan Family Tradition.  It was a fun night filled with laughter!

One day we rented this trampoline out in the lake.  It was a lot of fun, and quite the swim to get to.  Jason offered anyone who swam back to shore a shake (other wise the jet ski had to take them in).

Parker enjoyed staying warm in the sun!

Hailey & Addie-born on the same day!  And Wes below just 4 weeks later!

On Friday night we ordered the "Old Ephraim" pizza.  They were HUGE!  Matt and Brian got so many stares as they left the pizza place with three gigantic pizza boxes.  Everyone was curious how many people that was feeding.  We did pretty well and only had about half a pizza left!

Carrie and Jason's family gave each family a roll of duct tape.  We had to be creative and make something out of it.  Parker made a ninja mask, and Amber and Aubrey made flip flops (with the help of Mom and Dad of course!)

Jeremy, Nate, Eric, Katie, Addie, Ian

Julie, Ben, Roger, Isaac and Sari

Sari, Katie, Holly, Roger

Lindie, Aubrey.  On Friday night as we watched the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, Lindie and Cole were playing and being so cute together.  Lindie in the sweetest, cutest little munchkin voice said to Cole as she rubbed him on the arm "Do you want to dance with me?"  I think it was the cutest thing I have ever seen!
Aubrey
On Saturday after we had packed up and were ready to leave, we decided to go to Minnetonka caves and do a little exploring.  As we waited for our turn to enter the cave, Amber, Parker and Aubrey fed the chipmunks.

All in all we had a GREAT week at Bear Lake.  Everyone got along well, we had perfect weather, we were able to see everyone and visit with everyone (with the exception of Joan and Chad and family and Mom and Dad).  Stu and Celia even made the trip up to see us.  There really isn't anything better than family!
