Ethan 3 Months

You turned 4 months yesterday so I figured I better document your 3rd month. Before you entered our world, I prayed and prayed that my heart would be content with 2 kids. Two kids seemed so much easier. Now, I know why God wouldn't answer those prayers. You my sweet baby boy melt my heart.

Your big headlines this month are that you are rolling over and playing with toys. You are doing this much sooner than your big brother or sister ever did. I wonder if we are going to have an early mover. You also don't want to take a bottle. That makes it a little harder on Mommy. We are working on this.

People will often ask me who Ethan looks like. So you be the judge. Here they all are at 3 months.

Logan Mae 5.75

Logan is almost 6. Its been a while since I've blogged about my sweet girl so I thought it was time.
Here's what she's been up to this past year.

Logan is a little fish. If she could live in water she would. She took swim lessons at Amy Morris again this summer and loved it. Most of the summer we swam.
We said goodbye to her first big girl bed. We traded it in for a bunk bed. She loves (most of the time) sharing a room with Luke. We will often hear them talking, reading or playing well past their bedtime. Logan asked to take this "one last picture" with her bed.
Logan is quite the experienced little flower girl. She has been in 3 wedding in the past 9 months. (Auntie Faye, Ally and Ms. Blaire)
Getting ready for Auntie Faye's wedding.
This is Lo at Ally's wedding.
Logan and her friends from Shining Star Preschool on the night of preschool graduation. (Jordan and Hailyee) She developed a sweet friendship with these girls.
Her amazing preschool teachers. (Ms. Meredeth, Ms. Debbie, and Ms. Christina) Busy Bees
Lo also took ballet this past year. Mommy put her in a older class with 6-8 year olds (because all her friends were in it) and it proved to be a big challenge for her. She rose to the occasion and did so well but it was hard work for her. Here she is at her dance recital.
Logan and her friends from class. Sidney, Riley, Olivia, Kierra, and Kendall. Her teachers were Hunter and Hayley.
Her class with teacher Hayley.
She got LOTS of flowers after her recital.
After her recital we went to dinner with Uncle Cody, Auntie Faye, Nana, Grandpa, Mimi and Papa.
We made a cake for Lo's 5 1/2 birthday
Logan started Kindergarten. (tear) My baby girl started school. Mimi met us at Woods to join us for her big day.

Picture Day. Crazy Girl!
One of the highlights of our summer was going to the Aquarium. These two....
They truly love each other.
She is a full on Daddy's Girl. No question.

One of Logan's very close friends, Haiylee

Logan I'm so thankful God choose me to be your Mommy. You have such a genuinely sweet heart.  I love how social you are. You have no problem starting up a conversation with anyone you meet. You love to learn and are doing excellent in school. You love your new friends at school and have invited many of them to Good News Club. (Including some of their Moms) Things you are into right now are crafting, cooking, tomatoes, playing makeup, painting nails, Taylor Swift, Wild Kratts, Clifford, reading, tennis and doing just about everything "by yourself". I love you my sweet girl. I love being your Mommy. You are such a gift to us.

Ethan 2 Months

At your 2 month well baby check up, you weighed 14.8 lbs. You are in the 95% tile for weight and head circumference and 75% for your height. You're just like your brother and sister. You definitely belong to us. Big head and chunky. When you are awake you are the center of attention. We all love trying to make you laugh. You're very easy going and a good sleeper. We understand this may change tomorrow but that's ok, we love you just the way God made you.

everyone wants to be close you.
you look a little scared. save me mom.
we love making you smile.

Lukie Boy 2.5

Oh Lukie. I am so thankful the Lord knew we needed you in our family. You are kind, spicy and oh so much fun. Sometimes it's hard (and sometimes it's very easy) to discipline you. There are many times Mommy and Daddy know we need to correct you but find it hard to keep a straight face doing it.

You have oh so much energy and at the end of the day we are pooped, but you are not. I wanted to document some of my favorite pictures and memories of you over the past 6 months.

A few things I love....
*You say to me "Hey Babe" when I walk into a room. (You hear Daddy say that)
*I love hearing your sweet little voice sing in the car. From, "I like to move it move it." To "Jesus Loves Me."... all are sweet music to my hears.
*I love hearing you laugh from your belly when you play with Sissy.
*When I come to pick you up from Ms. Leah's (Your 2 year old program) you run to the door with a big smile on your face  and your art project in hand. And usually you tell me, "I didn't cry." (And most of the time you had) You are my brave little boy.
*You throw everything. Everything. EVERYTHING. We are working on this.
*You've decided to not take naps this month. During the time you are supposed to be sleeping you pile everything you can on your bed. Sissy's shoes, Sissy's jewelry, clothes, cars, books...anything you can find. You also enjoy taking off all the knobs or your dresser. Oh boy.
*I love when I tell you I love you, you tell me, "I love Daddy." And vise versa.
*I love how gentle you are with your baby brother.
*I love that every night you remind us to pray and you also ask to pray. Your prayers are so sweet and very tender. You thank Jesus for what ever you did that day and for your favorite things. Past prayers...."Thank you God for golfing with Daddy. Thank you for my big boy bed. Thank you for Mimi taking me to two parks. Thank you for Sissy. Amen"
*I love that you stretch me.

So here are a whole lot of pictures from the past 6 months.

In April (at 2 years and 3 months old) you decided to potty train yourself. Thank you son. That is the best gift you could have ever given us.

I just love this picture of you and Nana and wanted to add it. You were playing baseball with her and you missed the ball. I love her expression and that you are looking at the ball that went right by you.  You love sports. Playing any type of sport or game with you is your love language.
 You and Lincoln

This year you did The Little Gym. You loved it.

Graduation Day
 Your class
Your teacher. I wish I remembered her name. :(
You in your big boy bed
You were in Ally's wedding in June. You did wonderful. And you looked pretty handsome too. You are a little ham.
Swim lessons this summer at Jan Thomas. I wish I remembered your swim teachers name too.
Camping (in our backyard) with Daddy and Sissy
The Circus. You loved the motorcycles and elephants.
You are such a sweet brother. You and Ethan.
