It's always refreshing for me to come home. I always seem to find a renewed appreciation for my own bed and family.
Especially when you come home to people like this who deeply love you and your children. Not only love your children, but delight in them. Genuinely. There is nothing that warms my heart more.
If it feels this good returning now to the one that love us deeply...I can only imagine how great it will be when we go Home for good.
Goodnight.

Day 28: Beach
We had lunch at the beach. I convinced my anal self that I should let my son enjoy the sand and get dirty.
And let him learn for himself that eating sand is never a good idea....
I am still finding sand everywhere. I am not sure how it found its way all the way back home....but it did.

Day 27: Road Trip...
Hello again. We took a road trip this week and I didn't have my computer so that meant no blogging.
This is the best invention. Thank you portable DVD player... you make a road trip with a 4 year much more enjoyable....

Day 25
Apparently our toilet isn't clean enough for my 4 year old to sit on.
Its always fascinating what they pick up from you when you are out in public and then randomly do at home.

Day 24: Guided Drawing
Today we found out that Logan's preschool would be canceled this week due to a fire. She goes 3 days a week and wishes she could go 5. She loves it. It is such a great outlet for her. So I had to dig deep to find some activities to do together that would keep her stimulated and learning. She is my little sponge.
I stumbled upon a guided drawing activity sheet that one of my friends gave me a while back at a mom's group. I have tried guided drawing with Logan a while back up she just wasn't ready. Today we tried again and she loved it! I thought I would share some of her pictures. They make my heart smile.
For those of you other Moms that are in my same situation this week, this was quite the hit. It kept us busy for over an hour.
If you have any fun craft/activity ideas for me for tomorrow (and the rest of the week) let me know! We are currently on the letter P.

Day 22: Learning From My Kids
I love watching my kids find joy in the simple things. It's a great reminder for me.

Day 20: Happy Birthday Luke!
I still can't believe you are a year old. Where has the last year gone. We had Logan and I though she was the happiest baby of all time. Then we met you Luke. You are so sweet and easy. I think you are a lot like your Daddy.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of you from the past year. You have been a ton of fun.
awaiting your arrival
