I love dressing Gracie up for Church on Sundays! She finally fits into 3-6 months clothes so it really opens up her wardrobe. What a blessing she is.. we just love our little poodoo! :)

Getting to Know Gracie Lynn
I am amazed at just how fast Gracie is growing, and developing her own, unique, little personality. Ok, BIG personality. She is her own little person. I cannot describe how wonderful it is to get to know her as her daddy, but I can share a little bit about who she is to those of you who haven't had a chance to meet her!
Although Gracie is fast approaching week 12 of life outside the womb, Gracie does not think she is a baby. The picture above personifies her character the best. She hates BEING a baby. So she is working her hardest to overcome that. One example is how much she dislikes being held like an infant. Gracie is not happy unless she is sitting up like a big girl, or standing (with daddy's help). Some of the things she likes to do is dance. I regularly come home to my wife and daughter dancing around the room to the late Michael Jackson's greatest hits. She genuinely enjoys the excitment and thrill of twirling, and bouncing, as told by the huge smile on her face. She also loves being outside. She can SIT (heaven forbid we hold her) for hours straight watching people, animals, and yes, TREES. Gracie loves trees. She will actually smile at them as they blow in the wind. She also enjoys conversation with those who are around. She is thrilled when people look at her and talk, and loves to respond and sometimes even yell her opinions.
Gracie has recently learned to roll over from her belly to her back. She doesn't get it everytime (that dang arm gets in the way), but seems to enjoy the rush. For the past month litte Poo Doo has been developing her hand-eye coordination. She grabs toys, grass, bottles, hair, and fingers. These items are then immediately reeled into her slobbery little mouth to be tasted. We have also found that Gracie likes to watch TV. Just the other day she watched a whole episode of Oprah while sitting on mommy's lap.

It's so fun watching her grow and learn. It's a surreal experience. I can't wait to see what new thing develops tomorrow!
Before I published this post Gracie had her first big laugh!
