june holis is finally here~! at least that means early nights n late mornings =] butbutbut i guess da school just dont wan us to enjoy da june holis at all. there's obs tmr untill fri. and CO camp is on fri to sun. gonna miss the fri one. like wth. it's da first week of sch holis and i have to spend it OUT OF HOUSE.

looking forward to obs abit bah? coz can play and hopefully get tanner! hahas. but actually i rather i can spend my time at home. going obs means fun but tiredness. staying at home decreases fun but increases rest! n i can study for my JCTs as well. for your info JCTs are june common tests. yup. our midyears are AFTER june holis. the sch just wan to kill us off like anything lorh. so irritating.

went to buy stuff for obs tmr. n dad bought me a new handphone pouch! yay to him! =] its ex and i told him not to buy for me although i like it but he bought it for me in e end! so happy lah! it's black & white. my fave colours lor! hahas. btw deathnote dvd is still $25.90. still so ex. haish. dunno when then the price wanna drop.

100th post!!! the LEP ppl are back from cheena land! yayness. i like e things they gave me. so nice!! thanks a heap ppl =]

grace bought SHE play cd in cheena land n its so bloody cheap! wah. jealous. nvm. hahas. at least she lend me to burn and all that. disected fish today in elective! wah. freshwater fishes in sg no parasites e lor. my grp did da freshwater one n found nothing. those who did marine fish found some though! ahhas. blood filled da lab for a moment. hahas. saddist or wad, dissecting is actually quite, i emphasize, QUITE FUN. apart from da gross part of seeing da intestines and all.

spent afternoon in macs to "study" with grace jinli and shiyan. hahas. guess only they did work. wireless down so i cant do anything. din bring work ta do. so watched zhuan jiao yu dao ai. hahas. nice and spastic. ahhas.

i screwed up my solo =(

oh wells. for arnd 5 secs the whole orchestra was silent. all because someone frm another section came in early. yups. n both me and those in perc thought we came in wrongly when we were actually the right ones. sien. so malu lah. haish.

the whole orchestra including myself haven't much confidence in this song. 1st thing first is tt we only played the whole song once through before the actual concert. we did try matching for twice before tt but the piano used was horrid. it's as though a little baby of 3 months is pressing on the key. sigh~

the time we went through b4 concert was during rehearsal yesterday afternoon, and the concert's yesterday night. okay. the rehearsal was great. apart frm the fact tt one part is too fast, everything's okay. why didn't it turn out like that during the actual performance? why did all of us break off? why why why?

im kinda sad. heard someone calling my name but i dunno who in exact. btw it sounded like james. oh wells. couldn't be right? everyone was telling me im very good already. but seriously, im not! how can breaking off be considered good? even though i reacted fast enough and caught up wif everything in almost a split second, the fact remains tt i broke off. n their introduction of me was like..... they portrayed me as though im one of those pro-kias in piano which i m not.

other than tt every other song was fine. see?! i ruined the whole performance. i screwed up the most impt thing that can ever be given to me. the most impt. i din screw up my yunluo, my hi hat, my xiao cha, my xiao gu, my vibraphone, my gong, my everything. BUT I SCREWED UP MY SOLO.

some ppl frm downstage said i was good. some said i played wrong notes. like obviously i played wrong notes n im not good. i played wrong notes coz i was devastated about the break. i felt like just standing up and run backstage at tt moment but i managed to stay put and inject feelings into wad's left of the song. okay. the break occured quite early but still.....

bt on a lighter note today marks the day that i can finally go home during humane hours. which means before 7pm or smthin liddat. the past month has been filled with early mornings and late nights. tired brain and worn out soul. finally this can stop. n LEP ppl are coming back from china today at midnight. yayness.

somehow, though its not entirely my fault tt there is a breakage in the song, i cant seem to feel relieved nor happy about me being able to be free from all da hard work of music.

prac my piano solo song 1st time wif orchestra yest. omg. used keyboard and realized i cannot play anything on it at all. it has such a weird touch and it doesn't require any strength. even the spacing and fatness of the keys are different. i feel so ashamed when i was playing the keyboard. suddenly i cannot play anything at all. i feel like a noob trying to play on a stupid idiot keyboard. like ive nvr learnt piano b4.

not gng sch tmr lah. im too saddened. i noe when i prac tmr at home all my hard work will b gone. i noe my sound quality will dip down. its unavoidable. its unbelievable. but it always happens. keyboards are not meant for serious piano playing. it just spoils my fingers totally. i swear im not gonna play on a keyboard ever again. coz it sucks like shit.

okay. lets see. its been three days since my voice changed. n it still is da same. ate lots of strepsils and all that bt my voice is still LIKE THAT.

when i gt to sch on fri morn my frens were like "hello pinsing. say hi!!" like wth. hahas. coz i changed my msn nick and pm da previous night to "tjco won gold wif honours! n i lost my voice..." yah. so they noe my voice will b damn diff lah.

after smiling spastically at them and waving i finally opened my stupid mouth. the moment i did grace and jin li began laughing. esp. grace. WAH. LIDDAT LAH. evil edwin keep coming over to me in da course of da day asking me to talk. wah. sien diao. wan en couldn't quite stand my voice. sarena said my voice is "sexy". hanle din say anything too out of da ordinary coz she already heard the outcome of my voice since wed afternoon. simon keep imitating me. wtheck.

yepp. then went back to tkgs for kelly's mep exam. its quite okay i guess =] yah. olivia was questioning the sound of my voice. n "scolded" me at first for making kelly worried. we only practiced once together b4 fri. yeah. bt after knowing everything turned out well she apologized. hahas. AIYO. I NOT SO PETTY LAH.

went back to tj for more CO arnd 6pm. saw xinyi and xianjue first then grace and darren. darren just had to talk about my voice once again. he said stuff like "wah your voice damn sexy sia, baritone leh..." and he started imitating me. RARR. hahas. okay lah. his one nt as bad as simon and weisheng's.

after slacking and stuff i went back CO room to realize they r practicing my solo piece n there's no piano. okay. means more slacking. weisheng was dere. he IMITATED MY VOICE AS WELL. wad e.... n he acted gay and everything. omg! laughed until my sides ached. he so funny lah! funny senior...

celebrated my dad's bdae. on which im very apologetic to him. i actually forgot all about it till 11 plus when i wrote the date on the foolscap paper. oops! plunged into CO room again. haish. CO everyday till concert than freedom!!!! yay! look forward. ahahs

WE WEREN'T REALLY CONFIDENT OF GETTING GWH TODAY COZ WE DID MAKE SOME MISTAKES BUT OVERALL IT WAS STILL OKAY. BUT NOT TT WELL AS WE HAD WANTED IT TO BE. WHEN WE CAME OUT, JUNHONG WAS VERY DEPRESSED. HE THREW HIS ERHU IN DA CO ROOM OKAY...

I STAYED IN SINGAPORE CONFERENCE HALL LAH. HEARD TT PIECE OF NEWS FRM HANLE. WHEN JUNHONG CAME BACK HE ASKED ME HOW HWACHONG WAS. I SAID THEY WERE VERY PRO. HE ASK THEIR SET PIECE VERY GOOD RIGHT? BETTER THAN OURS RIGHT? I HESITATED BEFORE NODDING. JUNHONG WAS DAMN DEPRESSED UPON HEARING MY ANSWER. THEN CHINGKEE ASKED ABOUT CHOSEN PIECE. BUT CANNOT COMPARE LAH. DIFFERENT.

OMG!! syf's in like about 3 and half hrs time~! so excited! so nervous! wah~ dunno wad to feel or do now bt to come n blog lor. hahas. wanted to do tt yesterday night actually but din manage to. i practically devoted my night to sleeping and resting. yepp. my original plans of doing tcm was gone once again. hah. seems tt i have to chiong today after syf! i wanna get GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!

yeah. had been having this sore throat from i dunno when, and i was feeling quite okay all the way till yesterday until the afternoon arrived. suddenly, my voice just changed n now im like croaking like a toad. oh wells. hahas. but im feeling better from yesterday, throat not tt pain lehr.

no sch for us today! but still, oh man im getting nervous. about everything. n there's practically no much reason.

my fingers r totally numb from playing da big black instrument with white keys. i can hardly feel wad im typing now. haish. its 8.26pm and i haven completed both mep and physics. oh man. n i cant seem to recall where r put tt stomp thing i wrote. oh man. bless me to b able to find it! if not i have to rewrite! n i cant really rmb da middle part anymore!!! oh gosh. pls pls pls let me find da stupid score n do all my hw b4 tomorrow comes on da first sec.

5 more days to syf!! yups. n im quite happy wif da way i play. weisheng always have nothing much to say abt my playing except tt i can have more style lah. which i did!!! then coz weisheng dunno wad to say abt me n all sorts of other reasons, another senior richard came today. his strengths is in western perc instruments. i was all prepared to listen and improve on my playing coz nobody seemed to noe wad is dere to change.

yah. in e end, all he said was "rmb to follow e beats". woah. does tt mean i have no prob wadsoever at all?! weisheng was desperately finding something to say about my playing bt he found he could say nothing. aw man. ahhas.

polished instruments today! practically e only useful thing i did today in CO sectionals. went dere to stone de lor. polished yunluo, gong and glockenspiel. lee tat polished e whole of da cymbal himself coz he say he's playing tt for set piece. OKAY LOR. save us work anw. =]

now my glockenspiel look so shiny and nice!! n i got back my dear beloved white sticks! yayness!! my sticks was stolen by xylophone last time but finally it's back to me!!!! yays again! me n weisheng divided gong into half and polished half each. he insists tt e side he polished is brighter than mine bt.... HAHA. lee tat and bee kwee said the whole thing is quite okay. muahahas.n weisheng kept insisting tt those parts tt weren't tt shiny were polished by me. LIKE HELOO?!

u cant imagine da amount of dirt on all da instruments. my hands were all black. yes, BLACK. if only i hadn't washed them between times to prac with e rest i could've sworn they are as black as charcoal. yups.

soo tired! slept for about 4 hrs on average everyday now.

CO yesterday was...erm... i dunno. okay? cher started with long speech. then started playing. i changed 3 mallets within yesterday's prac. uhhuh. 3. alot hor? then da gu took my gong stick n i had to use my hand to hit the gong. WAH. pain sia? hit so many times.

haish. tonight still must chiong maths and mep project. think im getting the habit of sleeping late and waking early!!! hahas. bt when weekends come ull see da difference. will wake up later de lor! if not everyday sleep 4 hrs can die de.
