Alright doing the 'last post of the year 2009' thing now.
The first thing that came to my mind was 'this year is forgettable'. Nothing life altering happened to myself so it made it another mild year. But still, the year didn't just slip by; memorable things did happen on the way.
This year is the start of the 21st birthday parties since my uni friends are all older than me. It's actually good that I went to them this year so that next year when it's my turn I'll know what to do. Anyway, there's much more of these parties next year to look out for.
My mom bought a car for us this year. I remembered it being so random. Got a call from my mom while I was watching drama at home telling me that she's at the dealer and asking me regarding my thoughts about the sport kit for the car. Just like that. She did tell me later on that she went to the dealer 'cause she was free at that moment so the car was just bought without much thought. Even so, i'm satisfied with having the car.
I started the mid year finding myself in a situation where my uni clique split into 2 subgroups so it's either i'm in one or I'll be left high and dry. Thinking back, it's not all bad 'cause I got closer to half of 'em. Went on a drive to Genting with them, suppers & support.
In regards to dj mxs, it's another year (and counting) that we spent together; Bali, day trips, slacking at joo's house... We have reached a stage that we're really comfortable with each other and for me I only feel this way with you guys.
My family went to Amsterdam to visit my sis this year since she's there for exchange. Amsterdam is really great, Brussels and Paris are also fantastic. Soaking into the old European style buildings, getting lost and asking around, acting touristy, eating food that don't quite agree with me-- the joy of going somewhere other than Singapore.
For myself, I wanted to expand my network this year. I did met some people, but everything's premature. Networking is such a continuous process.
For the next year, no new year resolution for me since I'll most likely not follow or remember so I'll just see how it unfolds.

Oh boo hoo, been sick since Friday. Being sick ranks right up there as one my most hated things.
It all started when I ate that one biscuit on Thursday night and I woke up with a sore throat on Friday. But how can the virus not spread to the nose, so I got a flu on Saturday and my ears can't hear properly. Developed a fever on Sunday, felt like dying on Monday, recovering on Tuesday, flu still here on Wednesday.
I'm sorry I missed the monopoly game, declined derrick's offer to go xmas shopping and didn't reply to yenn's text. I'll start planning the treetop walk today and let everyone informed on the date and time!
