Went to Watami @ Ion with my sis last Friday since her friend said that the place is affordable and their Udon is nice. Had to say that her friend didn't deceive us but just that maybe that's the only plus point of the restaurant? For me only Nankotsu Kushi (chicken soft bone on stick) and Yaki Udon is nice, the other food that we ordered were a tad too salty and there were these bugs that keep landing on our food. Eh, the atmosphere is good and their service crew is attentive.

But, our hunt for food didn't stop there... pigs la we. We were walking at Wheelock and I saw this shop called Chocolate Research Facility that sells an array of dandily packaged chocolates. I can't resist nice packages so we went in. The sales person was a great help in the helping us choose the chocolate that suited our taste and since I wanted milk chocolate>likes fruits>wants it to be unique, we got this:

That's not the end, we went to Canele for desserts (oh the calories) since I told my sis that I've never been there "eating here". Had their "exotique" crepe and their "Black forest 2009" and "Strawberry Cheesecake". The "black forest 2009" was yum!

I received a call at around 6plus just now. Thought that my sister was playing music but since the ringtone started at the chorus, I realised that it was my phone. Was a bit reluctant to pick up the call since I was sleeping.
Friend: What are you doing now?
Me: I was sleeping.
Friend: Are you free now? Wanna go watch F1?
Me: Ya I free, F1? Dun want la... go listen sound meh?
Friend: I got the tickets. Want to go a not?
Me: (fully awake now) YEAH!
So I went to F1 for free thanks to my friend's friend that didn't wanted to watch the Qualifying race. I got to say that even though I was there, I didn't know who came in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc for their qualifying and who drove which car. F1 for dummies anyone? My friends and I were blur all the way, had no idea what was going on except that the noise is deafening. I only knew Hamilton drove the the red Vodafone and Alonso, the yellow Renault. Their speed is super fast and the engine noise is super loud. It was like an international convention with so many people from various countries there! But seriously, the tickets are overpriced and I won't blow my dough this way since I'm not a fan. I just went for the experience, to be part of the race.

Sometimes I really wanna kick myself for being so bad at names. I just can't seem to remember them off hand when I bump into someone even if I interacted with the person for over a year. Classic case again today. Saw my JC1 classmate (I think we were quite close then) but still I hesitated to say hi until she recognised me first 'cause I was thinking 'hey, where did I see her before? is she my first 3 mths classmate or tpjc classmate? what's her name?'. Lots of these kind of thoughts running through my mind. I can remember faces better.
I guess I can remember my primary school classmates' names best even though I don't meet one often, I can definitely remember the names of my lovelies DJMXS even though sometimes I still go 'whats her name' when my mind doesn't work for a split second. Others are hits and misses. Same goes for phone numbers. I can only remember mine (sometimes I forget offhand), my sis's, my mom's, my home line, my old number and the important 999 995 etc.
Maybe because I think that they doesn't matter so I let their names slip off my mind? Maybe? Or is my inner loner self acting up?

Had lunch at Tampopo which one of my friend recommended. I think I had too high expectations for it since another friend also said that it was good. Anyway, we got service = free food since the service staff gave us something that we didn't ordered and we ate anyway so the manager decided to give it to us as service! It was nothing expensive but still, it feels good to get something for free no?
I just got nothing much to blog about these days... got a new twitter account though since I don't think the old account will get activated anytime sooner. Watching some Korean variety, dramas and listening to some kpop recently. What does it means? Switching from Jpop to Kpop?! Oh NO~
Hope the west side outing next week will work out.
