Taking a break from OB, let me share with you guys some great songs! Listen to them when you have time and tell me which one you like best!
First, 2 songs that I categorised into the clapping genre. (the songs that all of you can clap along with!)
Jay Chou's 魔术先生. There is a great clapping section in the middle of the song. This is also a cute song even though I find the intro irritating!
Kat-tun's SIX SENSES. Great clapping intro to the song. *clap clap* Cool song!
Secondly, good motivational/inspirational songs! I have lots of those.
Westlife's You raise me up. Even though this song is a cover from Josh Groban's version, I like this version more due to the harmony of the voices.
Ayaka Hirahara's Jupiter. I always find inner peace listening to this song. When I'm nervous or stressed, this is the song that does the trick.
Fan Wei Qi's 最初的梦想. The title speak volumes of why this is a good motivational/inspirational song. It used to be one of my fav motivational songs. It's still a good listen.
Jay Chou's 稻香. It tells people to pick yourself up and move on, be self contented. This really is a nice song from Jay!
Great songs for running. I used to listen to these songs when I go for a run.
Eminem's When I'm Gone. Strong beats, best for the last stretch. I usually use this song as a power song.
Fahrenheit's 超喜欢你. Great song to pick up pace. It's fast and have regular beats.

I took out my organiser the other day wanting to note down Jiefang's and Marilyn's birthday. I flipped to the page and looked at it and instead of swiftly jotting them down, I hesitated and could not remember when are their exact birthdays. I think that it's Marilyn first then Jiefang but recalled that it's the childish one first. Then I recalled that it's the 6 and the 11 or 12 but was not sure so I looked through some old keep-in-touch notepad that I got and got Jiefang's birthday, 6/11, but somehow I don't have Marilyn's written down. So till now, Marilyn's birthday is unknown to me.
I don't mean to forget but truth is, I cannot remember. I'm sure FL's one on 17/3, SJ & Yenn's on 1/1 and pretty sure Derrick's on 24/5.
I got Fang Lin's name wrong the other day even though I thought through it before writting it down and still wrote Lin with a 'g'.
Sometimes I feel that we are too comfortable with our friendship. We meet up only once in the blue moon and after that, it's usually no communication until another meetup. Or maybe i'm always far far away eg tpj and sim. BUT all in all, I'm still lovin' djmxs (偷Macs の i'm lovin' it).

Went on a nice short trip out of mainland Singapore onto our island resort Sentosa for my Sister's birthday last weekend. Stayed at Rasa Sentosa. The hotel still looked the same as the last time I went which was about 8-9 years ago! Nothing changed much, they are still using the same card key, same notepad etc. We got the Premier Terrace room which was rather big; even the shampoo is branded!
Went out of Sentosa to Vivo for her birthday dinner @ Tung Lok Signatures. The dishes are oh so delicious but so incredibly expensive so dine there with parents. I loved the dessert and some other dish with that cheese ball and ribs.
Her birthday cake from Canelé was really nice! I liked it even though I didn't really agree with the look of it. No wonder the shop person recommended it. There are 2 layers of waffle in between the chocolate layers so that it's not that overwhelming chocolaty and that made the cake taste ♥♥♥♥♥!
Went to Shin Kushiya for lunch before returning home, tried the onsen tamago which I saw on a magazine. It's tastes just like any poached egg that you can get in the kopitiam but it costs a freaking $4.80! Lol, it was the experience.

Back from sending Fang Lin off. Had hilarious moments with them with the "A"ccelerated learning CD. I realise Joo is getting more and more A. Wanna temporary replace Fang Lin when she's away in Shanghai?
Back to a few days ago.
Dinner at My secret garden. It was so difficult to locate. We missed it and had to backtrack and seek help from Fang Lin's sister before finding it. It is quite an expensive place to dine and the food is small portioned. The food tastes good even though I thought that the scallop and prawns are rather small. It has good ambiance. Overall, a good place for a date 'cause love love forget about the price and the laid back service already.
Mind cafe was totally a change of atmosphere. Loud voices can be heard at the entrance. We talked loudly 'cause everyone is doing that and if we don't raise our voices, we can't be heard. The food there is also cheap as compared to MSG. Taboo was great fun.
