week 7 day 5

I LOVE TODAY HAHA. if every work day can be like this, im a happy boy =))

went to work at 1pm and helped out with a check out room luggages and received a $10 tip (YEA #1)

slacked around till 4pm and headed down to Raffles hotel to prepare for the longstay guest event, so jalan jalan around till 6pm before any actual work that needs to be done haha

7.15pm got permission from boss to join in the seafood buffet (YEA #2, learning that it costs $75 YEA #3) too bad couldnt try out the Singapore Sling as many are in demand of it and it isnt free flow =( so ate alot of appetisers instead of main course as it seems so much better and value worth haha. but their dessert bar was the highlight of the whole buffet, took abit of everything and it was heaven all the way. too bad only 1/2hr to makan only before I had to help lead guests up to Jubilee hall for the theater show 'the complete history of america abridged'

However here comes good news #4, there were absentees and the bosses didnt want to waste any of the leftover tickets.... so in I go to catch the show too =) Freaking hilarious show about the few iconic histories of America by Americans and some current issues with some dirty jokes and getting the audience wet (literally) Too bad the accent was abit strong and they were speaking quite fast so didnt get some of the jokes which the foreigners was laughing their head off =/

BUT WHO CARES AS LONG AS I'M CONSIDERED TO BE WORKING HAHAHAHAHHAAHA

first afternoon shift

feels so good to go to work in the afternoon, dun need to wake up when the sun havent rise yet, dun need to squeeze with the kiasu Singaporeans..

reached workplace w/o any supervisors around, so went to the back office to use the computer on pretext that i'm familiarizing myself with the booking system. too bad they didnt have any flash player for my online games -.-

so blah blah blah till 6pm, went for my dinner break. came back and learn about night auditing and wat a pain in the ass it is, heng i will nt be in charge of it =) dismissed early since nothing much for me to learn within half an hour. and that concludes my first afternoon shift...

tmr afternoon shift number 2!!!

front desk is absolutely terrifying, with so much procedures to remember and any mistakes could lead to fatal loss, financially and academically -.- (my supervisor just keep on repeating about all the various consequences that can happen to me and i will die without knowing wat hit me)

and another GOOD news will be i will be working mostly till 10.30pm after today, thus i think i can kiss dota-ing goodbye to yuewen and daniel till maybe December? or even further..... T-T

But at least i get to sleep in late and still get my free lunch if i can reach an hour earlier =))

Kranji/ sungei buloh day trip

woke up 7.30am today to prepare for the one day trip where 5 generations of peihwa primary sch gather (my dad's generation, a neighbour who is his senior, mine, my bro's, and a current student)

so went to sungei buloh listen to china people explaining about its history, which my father thinks that its sad for singaporeans like us who dun even noe abt our own country haha. walked ard till 12pm see see look look, saw the commonwealth art tiles which bring back some memories, saw alot of otters and monitor lizards with some within 30cm radius. didnt see much mudskippers compared to previous few trips.

went for lunch at a bistro nearby where the food is nice and well priced, and it was sort of an eyeopener meal for me. did i mention that one of the uncles who tagged along is a millionaire? ( he drove the latest ferrari f430 spider that was displayed during this year f1 aka $1000,000, went to cape town for a month for world cup and stays in orchard road) So i had a very nice experience of seeing him order his meal together with the typical kiasu singaporeans like us. One goes " can i have this side order, this appetizers , this medium rare ribeye, this dessert and the house wine", while the rest goes " Wah, $22 for one main course!!! WAHHHH $17 for salads?! think i will have the $15 fish n chips and can i have a glass of iced water"
guess this is the difference when you have a few more zeros than others in ur pay cheque.
so after we had our meal, ferrari uncle decided to pick up the tab for us so im guessing my neighbours was feeling angry over nt ordering more, since they felt the most cheapskate to me as they keep asking the waiter why other tables gt free jack o lantern but we did nt have (although the rest paid for them) in the end the waiter just gave them the smallest pumpkin to keep them happy?

went to fish farm and goat farm and took a look around, nothing new since my last visit so it was kinda boring.

finally reach home at 4pm, and feeling freaking tired. work again tml and im getting sick of it =/

MID WEEK AGN!!!!!!

i just love a good snack after work. it just lifts my spirits up =)

doing the damn job of assets tagging now and so sick and tired of it, print barcode, paste barcodes, check room assets = sibei f***ed up job.

just want this over and done with.... 5 more months -.-

everytime going to dhoby ghaut, to the same spot, to the same cabin, it just makes me feel gloomy

4th day of misery

being a skw for all departments suck big time. i just keep moving bulky furnitures up and down and up and down without much help. screw my trainer, she literally think im here to be a cheap labour.'Can move all these chairs and bed frames up to the 3rd floor? Thanks arh, i very tired'
Seriously wtf. moved tens of wooden bed frames and chairs up and earned myself a pair of hands roughed out from all the wood splinters and 2 bruises at both shins at the same height somemore -.-

good thing tml she is on half day. so half a day more and im officially free from SKW work =)

seriously need to feast... sushi buffet =d
