the dee finds a home.
there once was a girl,
who lived with her dad,
her mom and her two other sisters, and
they lived on the island of small singapore,
where they had lots of fun, lots of fights and lots more!
till finally one day,
the time had arrived,
that our poor little girl
was quite troubled.. and why?
why the time had arrived,
that university called!
but you''ll know what i mean,
when i say she thought it a bore.
not the studying, gosh no.
not the books and the pens,
such things made the girl tick,
so much in her small head!
so she struggled and struggled,
to decide what to do,
as her options were many,
but decisions made few.
and, while, in a time later,
on a paper or online,
i will tell you the tale,
of how she finally derived...
to the move to the country,
she was so awfully fond of!
So to Melbourne she flew,
about ten hours odd.
And it'd take a whole year,
to detail the send off.
But a grand one it was,
why it led her to tears
just the dance was enough
to take away all her fears.
But alas as she landed,
the big headache began,
as the problem with housing,
got slightly out of hand.
Every night the poor girl
and her mother would search
through the web, magazines
and through daily reports.
five days past and they started
to give up all hope.
as no place could fulfill,
their prerequisites and loc. (as in location)
but i'm pleased to report,
given, the girl is myself,
that today i have signed
the best contract since birth!
my new apartment is chic,
it's exciting, it's MINE
and i can't wait to move my things in,
one at a time.
and to all that are reading
from Melbourne to singapore,
take note my new address:
504/399 Bourke Street, Melbourne Victoria (VIC)
3000.
haha ok i didn't know how to add the 3000 la. but you get it. hahha JOY!

late night, early conversations and avoiding the confrontation of leaving.
where the heck has time gone?!
I'm not going to pretend that the past few months have flown by,
but this week certainly has.
As my heavy eyelids compel me to call it a night,
my body's excitement just won't be confined beneath a blanket.
Nah. that just won't cut it.
As I clear the clutter from my room,
and almost go through every nook and cranny,
I realize all the things I've missed,
along not just my recent life-so-far journey.
Re-realizing the love and memories you've all given me,
make it slightly harder to leave.
I've honestly learnt love in this country.
In this place. with you all and no amount of words will justify the thanks I owe you all.
If i were to start putting names into this post I might miss my flight... and them some.
But I know you all know who you are.
I'm so very blessed to have all of you in my life.
I only hope in the time I've been here that I could have made a slight impact.
Because your motivation, your patience, your grace, your kindness, even your rudeness sometimes, misunderstandings, characteristics, and most of all love... have made me who I am today.
and in this life, as I chase after my goal that is happiness,
in the darkness of my little room, in the middle of a little country called Singapore,
my heart illuminates my body, knowing that I have you all, I'm pretty much there.
thanks guys.
I love you.

Have You Ever?
Have you ever loved somebody so much
It makes you cry
Have you ever needed something so bad
You can't sleep at night
Have you ever tried to find the words
But they don't come out right
Have you ever, have you ever
Have you ever been in love
Been in love so bad
You'd do anything to make them understand
Have you ever had someone steal your heart away
You'd give anything to make them feel the same
Have you ever searched for words to get you in their heart
But you don't know what to say
And you don't know where to start
Have you ever found the one
You've dreamed of all of your life
Just about anything to look into their eyes
Have you finally found the one you've given your heart to
Only to find that one won't give their heart to you
Have you ever closed your eyes and
Dreamed that they were there
And all you can do is wait for the day when they will care
What do I gotta do to get you in my arms baby
What do I gotta say to get your heart
To make you understand how I need you next to me
Gotta get you in my world
'Coz baby I can't sleep
haha since everyone posting lyrics....

on sale.
sometimes the cheesiest lines make u cringe and wonder where the heck anyone found the stomach to even think this stuff up. Love cliches, motivational cliches, advertisement sales.
You roll your eyes at the 'last day of sale' sign but something compels you to walk into the shop. just in case.
You make your purchase, feeling pretty frikin proud of yourself for making a steal only to find the same 'last day of sale' sign still stuck on the window with the same cheap double-sided tape on the same tacky ready-made cut out bought from popular right where you saw it two weeks ago.
Sometimes we can't help it.
when someone says an old line, that you want so much to believe
you let slide all the disappointment you have faced, put in the same situation before,
only to get disappointed again. or in some cases proven right for letting your guard slide.
and then sometimes it's worth it.
but cliches are cliches because they work. because ... they have had genuine meaning before.
but they've become so overused that the follow through becomes less and less expected that the promising party never feels obligated to deliver.
how far we've come.
sometimes i reckon if we shut our eyes and follow our blind instincts, it might take us a lot further than we could ever go with our eyes wide open.
so I shut my eyes, click my heels and whisper, 'there's no place like home'.
