Hobby House in Papercraft Essentials

Just stopping by to say that the Hobby House's English Rose Collection is featured in this month's Papercraft Essentials Magazine (Issue 159).

The wonderful Jill from the Hobby House asked if I would be interested in creating seven cards for the cut out and keep feature.  The answer of course was YES, it has been my dream and desire to have one of my cards featured in a magazine.  Thanks to Ria from Papercrafts Essentials and Jill I've had seven!  Here's a couple of photos of the pages featuring my cards.

Include an Animal over at Di's Digi Designs

It is time for a new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs and this fortnight the theme is:

Include an Animal

For my DT card I included three cute mice!  They are so cute on the image here, using the sunflower leaves as beds, but I'm not too keen on seeing mice in real life!!  

The image is Slumber Sunflowertime which is available from Di's Digi Stamps and has been coloured with Copic markers.  I've kept the layout fairly simple, just adding a few roses and a sentiment.  Not sure where the cute little ladybug is from as it was part of some "candy" that Marianne Fisher offered (and I won) a while back - thanks again Marianne.

Hand Coloured Image over at Di's Digi Designs

It has been a while since I posted on my blog as I haven't had a lot of time for crafting recently.  My husband suddenly and rather tragically lost his brother in February and we have had to do a couple of trips down south.   He was only 48 and has left the family in a state of shock.  

I did manage to find some time for crafting this week and here is my DT inspiration card for the new challenge over at Di's Digi Designs.  This fortnight the theme is
