Santa - Please Stop Here!

Hello

How is everyone?  Well the Bank Holiday weather wasn't as bad a originally forecast.  Yes it has been a bit chilly for August, but we didn't get the rain and at times the sun was shining.  No doubt we will get a heatwave when the schools go back next week!

Anyway the reason I'm here is to share my latest Christmas Card.

The image is one of the lovable James images (James-Santa Stop Here) and he's been coloured with Inktense Pencils.  The papers are from LOVT/Nitwit Collection (Simply Joys).  A mixture of flower soft and fun flock has been used for the trim on his hat.

The sentiment is from Set 32 - Christmas Sentiment Tags.  Embellishments include Cherry Blossoms and Carnations from Wild Orchid Crafts and Flower Buds from Anna Marie Designs.  The flowers have been dipped into Diamond Dust to give a frosted look.  The ribbon and pearls are from my craft box.

Cute and Cuddly at Crafty Little Fairies

Good morning

As it's the first Thursday in August we have a new challenge for you over at Crafty Little Fairies and this month the theme is:

Cute and Cuddly

I've used 'Squeeze till I Squeak' from Penny Black for my card.

Intense Pencils have been used to colour the image.

The papers are Forever Friends (For You) and the sentiments are from LOTV (Set 69 - Family Sentiment Tags).  A Martha Stewart Punch was used for the border.  The ribbon and pearl trim are from my craft box.

This month we have some fabulous sponsors so lots of prizes to be won.  Please pop on over to the Crafty Little Fairies Challenge Blog to see some fabulous inspiration from the design team.  Please remember to use an image, either stamped or digi, for your entry to qualify.

Anything Goes For Christmas at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

As today's Friday it means that it's time for a brand new challenge over at Winter Wonderland and this week we are having a slight change.  Due to a number of the design team having holidays we have decided to run this challenge for four weeks (ending 5.00 pm on Thursday 28th August) and we have a nice easy theme for you:

Anything Goes for Christmas
(eg. Projects, Decorations, Tags, Card etc.,
but please remember Christmas Projects Only)

For today's card I've used an image from one of our sponsors - Poinsettia Corner by Delicious Doodles.

The image has been coloured with Copic pens and I've gone over the poinsettia leaves with a Clear Wink of Stella pen to add a faint sparkle.  The image has been printed and coloured three times so I could 3D the poinsettia.  Glossy Accents have been added to the berries and Liquid Pearls added around the image.  The paper is from Papermania (At Christmas Time).
The sentiment is one of the new LOTV sentiments (Set 75, Christmas Wishes) which I picked up at the Summer Crafting craft show in Doncaster.

As this challenges runs for four weeks we have six generous sponsors
