Blog Candy

first lets talk about the card then we will talk about blog candy.. Yes I know which is more important to you  bo please  be patient.
The Image is from Sweet Pea Stamps. and so are the stamps that are part of the blog candy.
The image was colored with Copic markers and cut out using Spellbinder Dies.
The techniques are from Technique Junkies. called cuttblebug highlight and  layered spellbinders.

Best Dog Ever



This Posting is the Celebrate the life of our dog Mystic.  She left this world on Sat. 10/22/11.
She will be greatly missed.

The image of he card is from  Squigglefly and it is called,  Angelipooch .
I picked this image because Mystic was such an angel, we called her Sweetie.
The background was done with a template, from make impressions for clouds.  I have had this forever, so I do not know if they 
are still in business.

Girl Angel

I am please to announce that I have joined the design team for Scrapbook Stamp Society ,  This is a great company that has both digital images and rubber stamps.  I will be working with digital images.
The image I am using today is called Girl Angel  by Ava M. Schwark.
I so love this image. She is just so sweet.   I colored her with Copic markers. Then I used a Technique Junkies, technique called out of the die where you leave part of the image outside of the die cut.

Sunset on the lake

Bosses Day card again, I only have one male boss, So I went for a Scenic image.  The Stamp is from Northwoods.
This was a 10 minute card.. I took white card stock and a sponge. and just applied the ink to the card. Stamped and embossed then layered using designer paper.

Colorful silhouettes


I was playing with a Technique Junkies, Technique called color silhouettes.
This is sort or a double embossing technique.  if you try  this you will want to use
a bolder image.  The background was done with distress inks.

Boss's Day


I was asked at work to make cards for Boss's Day,  I said yes, knowing I would need 4 cards
this is the first one. The Image is from Squigglefly,  Flower set .  The image was colored with copic markers.  I decided to try one of the new Technique Junkies techniques call double embossing.  I like the look, but need to get different removable tape,  I found painters taps, tares the paper .

Capture each Moment


This card was made for my Guest artist  roll for Oct for One Crazy Stamper .  This web site has a great selection of a lot of my favorite stamp compaines.  For this card I choose My Favorte Things, The stamp is called capture each moment Jolinne.
The image was colored with Copic markers and I wanted to use designer paper.  The technique on this is called out of the die by Technique Junkies..  Then I did the back ground on this  I took the little butterfly stamps that comes with the set and made the background. and colored it quickly with copic markers.

Blog candy is coming

Birthday hugs


The scan did not come out great on this card due to the flower..  I was inspired by a card in  Cards magazine. This was made to be a quick card.  The card was made by taking white paper cutting it with dies, while leaving the die in place.  I stamped the words, and used a sponge to color in the white paper.  I stacked the dies, using die 16  and die 2 Then did with  the embossing folder I rubbed the ink on the  back side this made only the embossing colored. added ribbon   and flower

Sending you hugs

The Challenge this week is for stripes,  Let me first say  I look at the designer paper and see stripes and say what can you do with this.
I look at clothes with stripes and leave it on the rak.  So This challenge was a real challenge for me.
but on to the fun stuff.
This Squigglefly imges is call Hugs,  the artist  is Angela Donato, and I love her stuff, I know I will be getting more.  The images are just so cute I want to hug this one.  The Saying is also from Squigglefly, it is called sending you hugs  the artist is Jess Holland.

Your're Boo-tiful!


Guess what I am a Guest Artist for,  One Crazy Stamper  , for the month of Oct.  They have a real fun selection of stamps, and Just happen to have some of my favorite stamp companies.  But for this project I choose a new stamp company that I have never used their stamps, Kaftin Kimmie,  i just love the fun  and sometime funky images.  Think I will be buying more of these.
This card was fun to do the Image was colored with copic markers,  I kept is simple to not over power the stamp.
