Glimmers birthday

I was playing today with a new technique from Technique Junkies called Pulled glimmer,  you use the glimmer sprays on your paper and
you pull one into the other... you can see the complete instructions on technique junkies.
the stamp are by Rubber Stampeed, Northwoods and hero arts. .. The border punch is a Marth Stuart.  I still have not got the hang
of the border punches.  I have learned you can not use them on too thick of paper. the Image was colored using copic markers.

Summer Vacation

The stamp something challenge this week was to stamp something that reminds you of summer. Well last summer we went on vacation in the Southwest, we visited Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.  That is why this card reminds me of summer, it was a very fun vacation.
The background techniqe this week is a Technique Junkies, technique called Glimmer Marbling.  Very easy to do .. for instructions please visit the Techniqe Junkes web site and join us.  The image is from Ink Blocks, and the saying is from Penny Black.    I just wish you could see the Glimmer on this card.  I used glimmer mist.. and it just so sparkley.

it my anniversary

It is my 27th wedding anniversary next weekend, so I needed to make something a little special for the hubby, hopefully I did not go too girly. But I love the card it is a keeper.  I just wished the  glossy paper had scanned better.  The stamp is from Stampsmith, I love these photo images but they are so hard to get a great stamped image.  Well I stamped two today and both had an great image thanks to the glossy card stock with the clay finish from paper temptress.   All the paper used on this card is from them.. I love how the background which is  a technique junkies technique called antique wallpaper.
