This card was made for the stamp something challenge this week.  you had to use ribbon, buttons and designer paper. The stamp is from wags and whispers, a fun new company I love their stamps.  The image was stamps in momento black ink and colored with copic markers, then cut out using a nestiblities
I then colored around the embossed part to make it look layered.
The designer paper is some I had laying around not sure who makes it.  the other paper is from paper temptress.

Happy birthday Nicole

This card was made for my daughter, Nicole's 23 birthday. so I made her a sexy fairy,  The stamps are from sweet pea, I love their fairy's, and this one was so Nicole.
the image was colored with the copic markers, and the paper is from Paper temptress. I choose this paper for Nicole, because of the sparkles  I so wish you could see it in the scan.  The technique I use is from technique junkies, it is call glassy embossing. This sure made the paper shine. the saying is on a die cut from nestiblities.. love these new labels they are so girly.  Of course we had to have lots of bling, because if there is one thing my daughter loves almost as much as shoes it is bling and glitter.
Thanks for looking

butterfly brayered brilliance

it has been a while since I did a grown up card.
the stamps are from Penny Black and the saying is for oynx exchange.
This technique is from the latest technique junkies news letter.  You start with white glossy card stock, and stamp on it with white brilliance ink, heat dry then you brayer over it with  a light shade of dye based inks..
heat set again.. stamp the same image with a med shade of the dye ink, then you stamp again with the darkest shade.  go over entire card stock with the embossing buddy, stamp with white pigment ink then
cover with white embossing powder.  I fished it by layering on purple card stock and adding a sheer white ribbon.
Thanks
Debbie

birthday in blue

The technique I used on this card is  from the latest technique Junkies newsletter, it is called marker tapping.  I took an light light blue and a dark blue copic marker and  tapped them side by side to create the background.  The image is from IBFS, and the saying is from hero arts.
Thanks

inches

this is some inches I did for a swap I joined for inches.  Just in case you do not know what an inchie is, it is a 1 inch square or circle piece of paper that you make look like a little ATC.
these are fun to do.  These happen to be from a set of stamps by inkadinkado that was created for inches.
images were colored with copic markers.
thanks

Chico's Valentines day card

This is the card that I made for my husband, Chico for Valentines day.  The stamp is from I break for stamps and the technique is for Technique Junkies.  First you cut the card the size you want it then, you do your die cuts the same color and emboss.  Then ink the raised area with a simular color.  put on the background to not overlap, trim edges. Thanks for looking
