I am now into my fifth month of pregnancy. Yeah! Morning sickness has thankfully departed and promises not to return, hopefully. Still no cute baby bump, but just a full looking belly as if I have had too many twinkies. (And no, I am not eating any twinkies, not good for me or the baby.)
On Wednesday we went for an ultrasound for some baby measurements and we were able to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We are excited to announce that we are having a baby...wait for it...a baby girl. She is currently weighing in at 11 oz. and is a bit camera shy for her face to be seen in full view. A hand or foot was always blocking half of the face.
Now we are discussing names and designing the nursery. Our two little boys, Vaako and Bear, have no idea what is in store for them, but I am sure they will love the new arrival just as much as Matt and I.
Matt and I are having a baby! We are really excited to add a new addition to our family. I am now just into my fourth month and really looking forward to my nausea going far, far away and never to return. My due date is January 31, 2011 so it will indeed be a very happy new year.
So Matt and I went for a little road trip over the weekend to check out some of the smaller towns around our area. Let's just say the towns aren't all that, but the drive was fun and very scenic. The last town we popped into was Weed. I saw this sign and it cracked me up. I don't know if that's what it should have done, but it did.
There is no excuse for not posting earlier, but procrastination is a wonderful thing.
Matt and I have added a new addition to our family. He gets along really well with his older brother, Vaako. But at only 5 months old now he has far outgrown his older brother. Bear is a rambunctious black labrador. We adopted him over two months ago and is fitting well with our small family.
We also have bought and moved into our new home since the last time I posted. It is just two doors down from the rental we stayed at when we first arrived in Alamogordo, so no need for moving vans, thank goodness. Next time I post, I promise it won't take 5 months, I will include some pics of our new home.

Bear loves the snow and was so excited to find a patch of it and went absolutely nuts!
