July 2016

The day to move back to Washington has come. We will really miss Texas. It went by really quick and we made some great friends. But, now it's time to move closer to family, to Spokane.
Our ward was nice enough to help us load our truck, even though it was really HOT and humid outside. We have officially outgrown a 26' truck; which we found out the day before we were suppose to leave! So, Mike found a covered trailer and we fit the rest in there. I had to pull it behind the suburban though, which was NOT fun to drive!
We had lots of goodbyes with good friends!

These sweet girls made all of us blankets to take with us!!

 Pulling out! Goodbye Texas! ;(
 One last stop at Bucee's!
And this is us. Mike and David in the truck, and me and Diana (and the kids) in the suburban, with the trailer. For four days!
Brooke liked to get out and wash the vehicles and help with the gas at the rest stops. :)
While Nana liked to stretched! lol
Every time we stopped, we all changed seats/vehicles, except for Mike. He drove the truck the whole time! Amazing right!? He got different company though, including me once! :)
I had to capture this picture of David hogging the back seat! LOL
  Mike "checking the fence" haha
This was the best rest stop! We all played on the playground and played tag in the soft grass!
Twinsies! ;)
CAFE RIO!!!! YAY!!!
We finally made it to our home in Spokane Washington!
Shalise was there to greet us! ;)
The kids love having a sport court!
Before leaving Texas, we took advantage of a big furniture sale, and we bought a new kitchen table, and new mattresses for the kids. I LOVE my new table!
We get some good views from our upstairs bedroom balcony!
Lots of unpacking....

We got to celebrate my moms birthday with her, and have fun with family in PR on the fourth.
Livia was excited because my Aunt Christie let her drive her really old car.
We played on the lake with David and Diana. Brooke loved driving the boat! ;)
The water was COLD! Not warm like Texas!

We went huckleberry picking with David and Diana. Most the berries had already been picked so we didn't get a ton.

The girls and I explored Spokane. We went to the Spokane Falls, and played around downtown for the day. It was a fun day.

Another day spent up north.
The girls LOVE driving Nana & Papa's razor. They take it down the hill and go exploring with it.
We also got to see Great Mammaw and Aunt Shirley who came for a visit from Kentucky.
It's always fun seeing them! We played games, went swimming, and roasted marshmallows.
Another fun weekend.

We went to Green Bluff, where there are a lot of farms and orchards, and we went peach picking.

Because I got called to young women's, (as the Laural Advisor) I got to go to the temple trip with the youth. The Spokane Temple is about 40 minutes away, and its not a full sized temple, but it's still beautiful and its a special one for me, since that's where Mike and I were sealed almost 17 years ago!

We made a fun trip to Moscow, just to hang out and see friends.

And lets not forget TOWEL DAY this month! lol

By the end of this month we were just about unpacked, and the girls' rooms were looking like rooms!
We found some new dressers at Costco for the girls.
This is Sydney's room. It's huge, but Livia let her have the biggest room, cuz she didn't want to be upstairs by mom and dad. lol
This is Brooke's room.
Sydney and Brooke are by each other, separated by a Jack-n-Jill bathroom.

This is Livia's room downstairs.
