June 2016

This was a busy month!

I got to help out at Brooke's end of the year class party! I can't believe this school year is almost over!

This is the cute gift all of us parents chipped in on for Brooke's teacher, Mrs. Souza. It's a half dozen of "flowers" with a gift card on each one. (okay, really there's 7 flowers) :) Super cute!

Livia has done some amazing art work this year.
Here's a few of them. She really is such a talented girl.

(Damon Salvatore from a TV show, "Vampire Diaries" LOL!)
This one actually went on display at school for awhile too.
Liv has also officially started Drivers Ed! She got her permit and is driving.
(She's actually a pretty good driver too!)

As usual, the first Saturday in June, we celebrate "Kid Appreciation Day!" So the girls got woken up to blueberry scones and smoothies in bed!
 A couple of outside toys.
And then we took them to Top Golf for lunch. It was a good day.

I am so lucky I have these three beauties in my life. They bring me so much happiness.

Brooklyn turned 6 this month too! She's growing up so fast!
I took her and her BFF, Taylor, to her favorite lunch place, "The Bake Shoppe".

Then to the store for some balloons.
They really have become such good friends. I'm glad they have each other.

Her Auntie Tara got her a "Build-A-Bear" gift certificate, which she LOVED! (We spent WAY too much time there choosing the "perfect" bear and outfit!) :)

I love this picture of her and Mike arm wrestling! lol - Also it shows her new watch that she wanted, and she actually wears it all the time! Another sign she's growing up I suppose.
She had a party with her friends, which involved another bounce house! She says she wants one every year! haha .... we'll see about that. ;)
It was a very hot day, so I had to break out the kiddie pool too.
Sydney and Amy were in charge of the snow cones! ;)
I already had most of the party stuff, from the girls camp auction, so she also got a piƱata!

Sydney was able to go visit Mike in Boston. This was the first time she's travelled by herself!
They got to go to a pro women's soccer game.
And did some exploring around Boston and New Hampshire.

They got to tour some big mansions in New Hampshire.

They had a lot of fun together! And she made it back in one piece! ;)

Fun beach day in Galveston with the ward.

We celebrated fathers day with Mike. He's a lucky guy, and very well loved by his princesses.

I've also been busy trying to get most of the packing done, since we're moving right after I get back from girls camp! Our breakfast nook is completely full!
the Dean's came to visit so they could watch Brooke while the older two girls and I go to girls camp! Then they will make the drive to Washington with us! They're so nice!

I had a lot of fun at girls camp! I'm so lucky to be able to get to go and do these things with my girls. Livia is a 4th year, and this is Sydney's first year!

Those men are guarding a big poisonous copperhead snake! One of the perks to Texas!
Jody and I were the camp leaders from our ward. We always have a good time together!
We go to go zip-lining and there was a huge swing that the girls go to do. It would swing them back and froth really high in the air!

Our theme was "Oh the places you will go", by Dr. Sues. I loved our cute shirts.

LOTS of hair braiding everyday. lol
The meals were catered, so we never had to cook.

The last night we had a fun glow-in-the-dark party. It was super fun!

We would sweat going outside, because it was so hot and humid, but then we'd freeze inside the cabins and meeting houses, because they were air conditioned. So, I was grateful that my sweet friend made me this blanket! She's such a sweet girl!
