Our good friends took us to a really cool place for my birthday. It was called, Taste of Texas, where they give you all the popcorn and pop you want while waiting for a table, then they take you to the "back" where you choose what cut of meat you'd like before cooking it up. It was a fun experience.
Mike surprised me with a gun! An HK 9mm. I actually like it a lot. Easy to shoot with not a lot of kick. I call her Millie! ;)
The girls surprised me and went in on a Keurig for me! So awesome! I use it everyday!
Mike and I like to go to the gun range a lot lately. This time I got to try my new gun out though!
Mike and I went on a group date downtown to an escape room and ice cream. It was a lot of fun, and I figured out one of the clues! We were the only group to finish in time, out of two other groups that night! ;)
Brooke has really gotten into chess. She loves playing it and wants to play it everyday. She's pretty good at remembering what each piece does too.
Brooklyn has begged ti ride the bus everyday for a while now. so I finally caved and decided to "cut the cord" and let her. She loves it cuz she gets to sit by her good friend Mia. she just seems so much more grown up now.
Livia got to go to a school dance. She's so beautiful!
She went with two friends, Katie and Katie. haha - lol
Then we got to see Tara and Tamara who came for Thanksgiving!! We took them to Santa's Wonderland. It was fun, but not something I would do every year because it was pricey for what you got! But the hay ride we took to see the lights was really cool.
Sydney and Tamara rode a mechanical bull!! HAHA!!
All the lights were spectacular! This barn was covered in red lights!
We were excited to see snow again! Even if it was in the form of foamy bubbles! :) haha
Brooke is still convinced that this is the real Santa! They had a whole deal, where you pay a couple bucks to have the elves call your child's name and talk about things they did this year and then they take you back to sit on Santa's lap. It was pretty cute.
For some reason I must not have taken very many pictures on Thanksgiving. But it was a good day as well. Mike was pretty proud of this smoked bird he did in the BBQ. It was pretty good!
Our thankful tree this year.
Mike's gun that he built with his birthday money is finished. He's pretty excited about it. It's is for AR (Automatic Rifle) To me, it looks like a toy! Scary!
The young women and I finished our boxes to send where there are kids in real need. Its through a company called, "Samaritans Purse". They were cute.
