November 2013

Thanksgiving in Priest River

Luckily, Mike was able to come home for the holiday, from Texas. It will be nice when we all live together again! SOON! (For some reason, I really like this pic of him) :)
Took our family picture for our Christmas cards
The kids loved the little bit of snowfall that we got.
Then the storm rolled in.... lots and lots of relatives! :)
It was nice to see so many of them, especially with us moving so far away.
 Me and Heather
My Momma and I
We got a few games in
And movies
Mike was on cutting duty. My dad got a smoked turkey this year and it was SOOOO good!!!
On black Friday, we kept our tradition by everyone going to the movie. We saw Frozen, It was such a cute movie!
Then we helped my mom and dad get their tree up and decorated.
Then we headed to Mike's parent's house for another Thanksgiving holiday with more family. :)
Of course, the men got restless and started shooting, at who knows what this time.
Brooky hung out with Shalise in the bedroom for quite awhile. :) haha
Then it was time to help David & Diana decorate their tree....
whether they wanted our help or not, they got it! :)

We also brought Patrick with us, which made for a VERY interesting car ride, and now we know that cardboard boxes are not the ideal thing to contain a cat. Patrick had escaped by Pullman!
We had to leave him at my parents house since we're moving to Texas! We will miss him!
My parents took us all to Coeur d' alene, to ride their Christmas cruise, to go the North Pole.
It was a lot of fun. Everyone in my family enjoyed it a lot.

Mike looking all studdly, with his well-trimmed Movember. :)

Here's when we arrived to see Santa, where he read the nice list, including all the kids' names who were on the boat. Although, he said Livia and Tamara's names wrong, so I teased them that they must be on the naughty list.... :)

We even got to boo at the Grinch!

Here's a few Random pictures from our month.
Livia and I re-painted her room, getting it ready to rent out when we move.
Bye-Bye bright polka-dots, Hello boring cream.
Brooklyn "helped"
We did a pretty good job, if I do say so myself! :)
Brooklyn LOVES playing in the snow! She could play in it ALL day if I let her!

David and Diana were so nice to send me to Texas to visit Mike in November, for my birthday! :)
Here's the Houston LDS Temple.
Ate at a few restaurants. ;)
Visited downtown Houston, only to realizes, there really isn't much there. Just businesses and apartments.
Then, made it back home and realized that I guess we really are moving, so the girls and I (with help from David) started packing, de-junking, and organizing the garage.
Sydney played the xylophone for her school performance. She did a great job!
While Nana & Papa were home with the girls, playing mommy and daddy, Nana got Sydney hooked on smoothies! Even after they left, Sydney would wake up and make smoothies for everyone, for like 2 weeks! She's such a sweet girl! Although, I did make the rule that the blender could not be run until 7am! :)

Macy's was having a contest, where you send in a picture or video of your child dropping a letter off at Santa's mailbox, then they could be on their Macy's commercial on Christmas Eve. So we did! Sydney and Brooklyn made the cut too! We got contacted that their picture may be used and I signed the form to allow it, so look for them on Christmas Eve! :)

Poor Livia didn't make the cut, even though, I thought this picture was super cute.
I told her it was prob cuz she's too old :(
I took the girls ice skating in November as well.
I was surprised that Brooklyn could actually walk on the matts with her ice skates all by herself!

She wasn't so good on the ice. She needed a LOT of help on the ice! :) haha. It was a lot of fun though.
The girls and I enjoyed November, but it will be nice to be all together again in December.
