Sydney's Basketball Season

 Sydney has had a GREAT basketball season. It was really a big confidence building season with her because she is one of the few 2nd graders on her team; thus taller and stronger (and slightly more experienced) than the first graders, so she has done really well. She is the high scorer almost every game, and she plays amazing defense! Plus there are only 6 girls on their team, so she gets a lot of play/practice time. This next week is her last week, but I have LOVED watching her play ball! 

Notice all the pink everywhere and matching pink socks on Syd's team... :) They are called "The Pink Ladies" so the coach encourages them to wear pink! It's cute, but funny.  

I thought this picture was funny of Brooklyn. I try my best to entertain her, and keep her off the court, which is the hard part. She wants to go play ball with "Nay Nay"! :)

Livia's Spelling Bee

Livia was able to attend her schools spelling bee. There were 48 kids total, and Livia made it through the 4th round. When she got out there were 14 kids left. She got out on the word lullaby. She accidentally said lo instead of lu. She did very well though, we are so proud of her! :)

 

Girls' Photo Shoot

We took a mini photo shoot of the girls, just for fun. These are my favorite pictures. Brooklyn has become quite the poser and she was really hamming it up in some of the pictures. It was hilarious!!

I forgot that we had uploaded this gallery into Lightroom, so I thought I would post my favorite pictures, even though it's not Christmas anymore. Mike was playing around with his camera stuff and lighting; while taking pics of his parents while they were with us over the Christmas weekend.

Snow Fun

Our "yard" isn't much right now, since it's uneven dirt/clay with no grass, but when it's covered with snow, it is GREAT! We have a pretty awesome sledding hill! Here's my favorite pictures of the kids, with some friends sledding!

 Sydney & I built our family in snow form!! :) It was a lot of fun. I love building snowman's! :)
