Merry Christmas!

I thought it was about time for me to do a little up date as well. I've been making a few Christmas cards too! of course around Christmas time i have to make at least 20 cards for all my family friends and relatives. and Boy was i ever scurrying this year. I only made about 15 and my mom had to settle with 'store bought ones" for a few relatives. :( Not good. eh? :) But you see I really had a good excuse! I'm Busy! Thanks for looking and i hope you like em.  And I wish to enter them to some challenges. and maybe make some new posts. first challenge goes to Our Daily Bread Designs. Cause I used a oval nesti, and heat embossing the verse and layers i guess. :) I also tried out a fun technique i got from this Awesome lady call Beate. I think she's a genius in all she makes. And i wanted a cool way to clean up all my scraps. and this was so fun and easy! :)

My first Scrapbook page

Hello Everyone! I'm back again,, for a short time. I've been extremely busy at promotions. Christmas orders are coming in like crazy! and to bad for me,, I hardly have time to fiddle around at my crafting desk. But i did manage to do a scrapbook page which took me a few days... I had been playing around with the idea of making one for the Our Daily Bread Designs challenge, and this was the best i came up with. It's pictures of all our girls posing for some beautiful Autumn scenery. We had a great time! I'll post a couple pics of the close ups,, and you can see the pictures better and the Scripture verse from ODBD. Anyways, i hope you like it cause I spent lots of time deciding on how to make it and fit the inspiration picture. But I really had fun! I might do some more in the near future. :) So I wish you all a great day!

I love checking out your blogs. they are just Amazing! lots of inspiration! Anyways i just had to make a pumpkin card for this challenge at Design 2 delight. i seen they hadn't got many entered yet. And my little sister had a pen pal with her birthday on Halloween.. So that's the best picture I could find for her, that would suit my conscience.   hehe,, :) and I also used the whoopsie daisy sketch hopeing to win some stamps so I can enter more challenges. (if that's possible) Anyways i hope to catch some challenges with my cards. Good Afternoon folks! You know I have actually no idea how i'm doing it! LOL! But i can only post on my blog one day of the week as you can see,, So sometimes i get behind on my enteries. But that's ok. Somehow i find new ones. And another amazing thing is,,,, I won my first challenge last week!! That was sooo cool! Now i hadn't really quite planned on buying something from the store,,, but i guess Now i Have to! It's just getting around to do it now,,,
Another interesting thing i find myself doing is,, Somehow making at least two cards per week. LOL!! Now thats sooo lame! But my excuse is,,, busy busy busy! ( hey but i got 3 today!) I wish i could do more... and Maybe someday i will! I found a new tecnique at this one girls blog,, (which btw,, I really love!) I only had a quick look at it and I had to try it with my picture of apples. I like it, cause it can be any card you want it to be. :) Then you also might see I used my new spellbinders of doddels to create those fancy curls. hehe,, love em! Anyways The thank you card is for the Timles Tuesday Challenge that i won last week! I really was surprised!! Thanks again ladies!

Good Morning bloggers! You know it's harvest season around here and I hardly get enough time to make cards as i would wish too. Somehow i managed to make 2 cards on the weekend along with Migrane headaches, (which is Not fun!) But Thanks be to God He always is faithful to bring me through. I also got to spend a little more time with my pet this weekend since she's been kinda neglected the last week, with me always so busy and stuff. I had to post some pictures of her. I know she's still a runt and always will be, It's winter coming up and she's loosing alot of hair also her spots. But she's still as pretty as ever!  Greetings Everyone! How's everybody in blog land?  this here is just me again with a couple cards to show. And hopefully enter some challenges the right way this time. :) I tried the same sketch with both, and made one card boyish and the other girlish. ( i love the angle boy) and always use my favorite embellishments, pearls! and my newest spellbinders :)  And as you might notice,, I'm really not very good at discribing my cards,, like how i made them or what i used,,, or whatever. Hopefully you can SEE what i used and how i made it! Pretty simple, huh? :) If you have any quesions,,, please ask. Also i wish I could figure out how you girls post them blog candies on your side bars. I tried many times already but yet it don't seem to work. I know how to go through the add a picture gadget,, but from there on,,, i'm lost. what link do i paste or website? Hi Everybody! Thanks so very much for your lovely comments! I really love bright vivid colors and my favorite color is pink! :) today i made a special card for my best friend. and tried a new sketch. Thanks for the inspiration! Hope you enjoy it!

I'll try and find all the challenges that i entered. and give you all the names. Although i realize most of them are closed already. Yup! It's a busy time of year again. can't find much time to craft now a days. But yet somehow i manage to get a few done for the important birthdays. I found a few challenges that I would want to try it with. I hope it qualifies. I'm still very unfamiliar with how to add links and gadgets at the sides of my blog,, I'm wishing for a helpful friend to come along and give me some pointers. :) ( Claudia!!!??) :) So anyways I hope you like my cards and May God bless you for peeking in on me! :)

So I tried some more of 'guy' style cards.. and will join some challenges with em. Everybody has such amazing creations!! I feel like mine don't even qualify ..:) But i wanna try. please.... On the first one i stamped my own background and since fall time is around the corner and the harvest has begun,, It fits perfectly! The sentiment is not very clear on the picture,, but it says "To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven". The second one is just a sketch i found and used blue and brown for a thank you card.

Hi It's just me again, decided to update my blog again. I had just made another similar card for a boy cousin birthday and I came across this blog of Cards for men! wow! i was excited,, i defiantly will need that blog for inspiration! Because you see,, i have tons of boy, guy, men cousins and uncles! and i love to make cards for their birthdays,, and many times i run out of idea's. It's happened a few times that i had to give a girly card to a guy! LOL!! but they didn't mind that much. They like the thought more. how sweet!:)

Inspired by card sketches

I just want to share my cards that i make. I made this card for a neighbors 50th Anniversary. They just loved it!! :) Everybody wanted the instructions.. LOL!

 

Then we got two new babies,, a boy and girl! I tried a Spiltcoasstampers card sketch.  I just adore those little Precious Moments people...  

Then I also tried another sketch challenge... with a new stamp set i got from... Walmart! LOL! :)

In the Beginning.....

Hi,, this is just my first day on a blog, I've been wishing and wanting to join card challenges for the longest time now and since it looks like everybody has a blog and maybe it requires to have one to participate ,, well here goes! I'm not sure how to handle all this stuff here,, but I'll get it someday. i hope. :)
I'm subscribed to Stampin Sisters in Christ for a while now,, and can't wait to join the challenge. I made a card this week for my cousins new baby girl,,with some old stuff that i never have tried before. I like their website very much and am blessed to see that folks are desiring to be inspired by Scripture! Hallelujah!
I'm also a photographer at heart. And the peculiar blog name is my nickname. :) People always see me with my big camera snapping every little detail of life! and that's how i got the name! (i don't mind it as long as they accept my camera pointing at them!)
I also live on a huge farm and help my daddy a lot, And most of all I'm a Born Again Believer! I long to know him more and be known of Him that He in and through my life would be glorified.
