tonight...
while having my 4 division discussion meeting, near tpy central...
there's a huge carnival below the house...

why?

ooh...
becos Floats from Chingay 2008 has come to Bishan Toa Payoh GRC!
it attracts such a big crowd tt all the other vehicles (including those SBS buses) have to fuck off in order to let those floats to move around (dua pai huh)

well...
as the discussion meeting is still going on...
i can't really go out there and watch (although i'm so tempted to do so)
i only went to get a glimpse at it at 9.30pm (by then the whole parade is ending :( )

managed to see our soka's very own float...
constructed by our very own prop group :)
can't get a picture back then becos...

however...

i managed to "steal" soka's float picture on Chingay 2008's official website...
so here it is...

(nvm... if shuli or xue lian's blog got post the float pics then i'll steal them and post it here hahaha)

so far its the most rare teddy bear in Singapore (to me la)...

initially i wanted to buy it for $hi-Ying's birthday...
but "GOD DAMN SHIT" (my PC's favourite phrase)
its been sold out since a long long time ago...
wonder if there's still any commando teddy bear left on the shelf...

the only being tt can wears the red beret without going through Brunei field camp, Airborne Course, 72 km route march, "ATEC", "IPPT", "SOC"
he's not deadly at all (no he doesn't kills)...
doesn't have any muscles btw (its a stuffed toy duh~)

Welcome back to Singapore tk!

for the past one week plus (1 week 1 day to be exact),
tk's off to tekong for his BMT out field...
something tt every guy have to gone through in order to graduate from BMT,
to upgrade the status from recruit to private...
well...
this is very important...

becos...

according to my friend's analogy...

a recruit's life is very cheap...
so cheap tt its worth 1/3 of a civilian's life
(tt means 1 civilian's life is worth 3 recruits' lives)
perhaps an upgrade of status will smaller the fraction?

anyway...
outfield life is not good at all...
have to eat combat rations for 7 days...
and i can tell u...
combat ration is a form of health hazard...
its so unhealthy tt it make u lost appetite the moment u see it...
if i were to be given a choice of eating combat rations and taking drugs / or smoking
i will choose to take drugs / smoke...
this is how much i hate combat rations...

some more bad things...
i have to pray really really hard to get into CSLC (Commando Section Leader Course), (which is something like SISPEC [School of Infantry Specialist], but for god sake i'm not an infantry)
becos i failed to perform well enough i guess...
i was not only too blur...
also not motivating enough to encourage fellow platoon mates...
my bunk mates oso said tt i'm a selfish mother fucker

:(

looks like all the odds are against me...
not only tt...
BAC (Basic Airborne Course) selection is in 2 weeks...
whoever can't get into this course will have to kiss tt commando dream/career/vocation goodbye, becos all commando are required to do this course...
to get into this course...
need to fulfill a certain physical fitness standard...
and...
tk here is one hell of a weakling...
getting into this course is equivalent to score full distinction for tk's A levels (impossible!)
looks like tk's commando journey is ending...
(kinda embarrassing, becos the whole world now knows tt tk is in commando, and somehow got kicked out for it)

anyway...
heard tt A level results will be releasing next friday...
pls.....
let good things come in pairs (not the other way round)

(imagine i have to spend 14th of febuary in tekong, doing training... zZz)

yesterday's outing, bai nian was a blast...

first stop...
went to Shirley's house to bai nian...
her house's full of pple... (as usual)
had lots of army talk with kiat and leong...
and i've just realised how useless leong's scorpion company is...
tsk tsk tsk...

next...
went to ronnie's house (not tt MI long chin guy)
he's 30s this year i think...
and happily married...

anyway
went to his house to meet up with ah bui and the rest for the night's movie outing...

yesterday was oso Jian Ming's 22nd birthday...
we had a "surprised" birthday bash at Swenson's...
i do say the cookies and cream ice cream cake is really delicious...

after tt we went for movies...
we watched Jay Chou's kung fu slam dunk...
its...
not a good movie...
its just computerised stunts (even though those stunts were breath taking)
i'll give the rating of 2 out of 5...

just managed to change a new skin today...
the old one gets kinda boring :s

the weekends will be a better day! :)

HELLO!!!!

its been quite awhile since i last blogged...
well...
becos i've been to NS (National Service)
doing BMT (Basic Military Training)
the training's tough...
so tough tt i dun remember wat i did...
(cannot disclose wat i do inside oso)

anyway...
today is the eve of Chinese New Year
Wishing all readers a very Happy New Year
may u all prosper in any way or other :)

saw my 7th uncle's wife (dunno how i address her in English, some aunt ba)
she's just married 1 week plus...
and this time i saw her...
she's a few months pregnant (i think)
to tell u all something...
(she's just 2 years older than me :) )

here's the picture of my 7th uncle's wedding...
i attended and taken photo during my first weekend book out, so my hair is...
bald...

may the happy couple live happily ever after...
lol



now now...
just saw something on youtube tt thrills me to the max...

it seems to me tt Spiderman has its 4th episode!!!
its spiderman 4
starring "Carnage" as one of Spiderman's greatest nemesis...
and "Lizard" as Spiderman's "friend"

now...
