I'm thankful for everything around me, everyone around me who I love and loves me.
I'm so glad my lovely sim friends came into my life; they are the ones who put a smile on my face, especially my smexy ivy. I'm blessed to have so many people who care about me, such as my lovely boyfriend Sheadon, besties WQ & HX, my sweetest gfs APG, my awesome Swiss bros, my cousins, my GFF Viki and the list goes on :)
I will work hard towards getting good results, 'cause I wanna progress onto degree and graduate with all my awesome friends.

A cute conversation between a mother and her son which I overheard quite sometime back left a great impression on me. I was travelling on a noisy shuttle bus, and they were sitting right beside me. It got me thinking, is it true that people tend to become less appreciative of the little things around us as we grow older? or is it other things (like money) are making us more stressed up to overlook on all things else?
So, the conversation went like that.. (Roughly- I cant recall every detail but im dead sure they used singlish)
Mother: Boy ah, today you went to the zoo right? Fun ornot?
Son: Ya mummy, today very fun.. The teacher brought us around to see the animals
Mother: Isit? Mummy give you money for lunch you got use ornot? Where is the balance? Give back to mummy if not later lost
Son: Ya mummy, I use the money to buy macdonald! And this one..
( little boy reaches into his bag and pulled out something)
Son: Mummy i buy this ring for you! Very pretty hor?
Mother: (Looks at the ring in disdain) Mummy tell you how many times, dont anyhow waste money! How much you buy it for?
Son: Mummy, very cheap.. 2dollar only (smiles innocently)
Mother: Wah! 2 dollar for this type of thing?! nextime dont waste money already ok, save up in case you hungry can buy food mah!
Son: Orh mummy (frowning)
I thought it's both amusing and depressing to hear this conversation. Even an outside like me could feel the sourness. It must have been worse on the little boy's end. All he wanted was to give his mother a little token, a little surprise. It wasnt done with ill intentions. But the mother sounded like her only concern in the world was the money wasted. She was so quick in lecturing the son. She didn't even show a tinge of smile or appreciation. Sigh.
I'm pretty sure it would have been another story if this were a conversation between a caucasian mother and child. But then again. it's just my conjecture.
It's true that not everyone is of wealthy financial status. Majority of us in Singapore come from average earning income family, and some are even trying very hard to make ends meet. However, I do not think that it should affect our ability to show our appreciation towards others, especially family members.
Money cannot buy you happiness. Money doesnt make your world go round either. It is people that makes the world go round (people like your loved ones, your neighbours, your family, your doctor, your foe, your whoever.. you get my point).
We should all learn to be more appreciative of the things and people around us, don't you agree? ;)

Been a long time since i last updated this space.. so, i decided to share something funny that i came across on the net to keep it alive. Here goes:

I'm really inspired by what I've stumbled upon over the net. The net is really an amazing platform where people present to you their personal encounters (no matter sadness, happiness or anger), and the precious lessons learnt from it. I love to read about other people's experience as they serve as a reminder to me not to follow their footsteps. I mean, it's always better to learn from another's real life experience rather than forever depending on writtened hypothesis, right?
And here I'm sharing the golden words that I've learnt today: HURTING PEOPLE, HURT PEOPLE. We should always remember this when we encounter mean people, and never allow whatever they say to hurt you.
There are tonnes of sad, hurting people in the world, and all they can do is spread their hurt by hurting others with their words. But hey, think about it, if someone didn't matter at all to you, you wouldn't even spend your time thinking of something mean to say or do, right?
These group of people are what we label as Haters. All they do is hate people, and spend all their time thinking of ways to spread their hurt/hate. The most common reason why they want to hurt you is because they're suffering from inferior complexity or perhaps they are hurt so much, they just feel like going around to hurt people. In other words, their aim is to just share their pain with the world.
I've also learnt that we don't really need to care about what people think. I mean, it would be nice if everyone liked us, who doesn't yearn for that? But seriously, you will still survive if they didn't. All you have to to is just to love yourself for who you are and be CONFIDENT in everything you do. It's confidence that makes your beauty shine through! Being sexy's got nothing to do with the skinny physique, thick makeup and tight cleavage showing tops and ass hugging mini skirts yo!

MAKE LOVE, NOT HATE PEOPLE!

Its time to change my attitude. I need to stop being complacent and passive. It's time I started thinking for myself and learn to want the best for myself. It's time I quit being a drifter.

Ningg zee great is backkk and here i'm feeling all bubbly at 12mn. So here I'm on my personal space sharing with you lovelies my current favorite song before I go to bed. (:

Met up with Greenish after sooooo long! This dumb girl is becoming an ahma like me, she's late for almost an hour despite travelling in a magic schoolbus. Had a great chat over lunch- its always nice talking to someone dear who shares common interests.;) WHAT AN AHMA!! haha.
Then it's super YUCKS to realize that WE ACTUALLY HAVE AN EYE FOR THE SAME THINGS NOW(except for the weird little polka tutu skirt that the weirdo likes :p). I'm like, aint I supposed to be the ahma while someone's the young one.. Oh nose someone's turning into an ahma like me! Boring boring, black white, white black, grey~
And in the end we still did not manage to find her f21 dress. Quite disappointed, but nehminds we ended up getting ourselves a headband & a scarf! (Tooth fairy mode on: Oh, YEAH**)
Enjoyed myself today since I finally met up with one of those pretty faces that I posted in my previous entries. Steamboat@ CDG's and CNY outings soon, okay APGgirls? :D
And to mycutelilA380 & Baybee, I miss you both too (though we meetup like quite often, but still will miss nonetheless okayy.) Take good care of yourselves darlings, Lovelove-

1. People who point at their wrist asking for the time... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?
2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.
3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?
4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?
5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!
6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?"... Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?
7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.
8. When people say "life is short". What the hell??? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do thats longer?
9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?" If the bus came, would I be standing here???

Baby passed his TP finally and its so awesome I'm fired up ttm ;)
It'a a done deal that he's gotten his driver's license and I'm hella proud of him!
And so I decided to post something exclusive for him on my blog to acknowledge his achievement. (Soon it'll be my turn to get mine! Very soon.. Teehees :p)
Anyhow, yesterday was celebration with his dad and family at jp. And the proud driver of the day was-- SHEADON CHAY WEI JUN! :)
Baby, your driving skills was awesome though there were hiccups here and there. But then again, it's the first time driving okay!

Happy 2010 people! (:
Counted down to 2010 with baby, alongside his family, at his dad's favorite pub. Baby taught me to played dice and I ended up owning him for most of the games. I loved the cheese & crackers and baby betrayed my love for him by stuffing wasabi prawnball into my mouth. And I was so engrossed with the dice that I unsuspectingly chewed on it thinking its just some ordinary food. Eew! But nonetheless everything else was great because having baby by my side was all that matters. (:
This realisation came pretty late for me and I'm stil quite bothered by the fact that.. IM 20 NOW!!! ohmigosh so old already! I've officially moved off from the "teen" into adulthood with a "2".
Holy mama! This means I've to stop acting like a kid and step up to the challenges that follow upon me entering the holy world of ADULTHOOD. lol.
Okay, being a responsible young adult I'm gonn take things seriously and start planning ahead. (:
Here goes:

To be honest, I've no idea what it meant and so I did my favorite thing- google search.

Its been ages since I actually wrote something in this space. Quoting my cute boy, this reminds him of a lazy blogger who doesn't have anything to write and hence haphazardly gets the job done by posting up some random song lyrics.
LOL. I do admit that I'm getting lazy nowadays. But really, school's getting hectic and sometimes I just felt like I might suffocate and die anytime. The snowball effect is just too much for me to take. I feel lethargic most of the time due to late nights and early morning lectures.. I really need a break.
How I wish I could cuddle with my boy and just fall asleep in his arms. Then, my world would be perfect and I would be safe from the raging storms outside. ): As matter of fact, I feel like hugging my dear boy now, and have him running his fingers through me hair and giving me his reassurance that everything's gonna be alright. I miss you dear, alot, really.. Can you ord soon, please please?
Havent been meeting up with Baybee for quite some time and I'm missing her already. Seriously, surviving on text alone doesn't really help much. I need to see you Baybee! And I want rant about everything else on earth. It just sucks having to drag your heels to school everyday and be faced with the torture of having 4hours break in between lessons feeling all tired and having the mood to do nothing at all.
And I miss alot of others too.. Girls, you know who you are. I'm just too tired to type everything out word for word. How I wish I had a huge mansion where I can house all my loved ones. In this way I'd be able to see all of you everyday! How nice it would be, really.

School life is so boring. Its the same routine everyday. And there's someone (read: boyfriend )holding a whip and chasing after me to make sure that I dont skip any lecture/ tutorial throughout the year.
Although I'm still feeling lazy and reluctant to attend school (even after soooo many weeks of school), but I'm really glad my boyfriend's keeping a close watch on my attendance. Because without him I would have skipped a million lectures and wouldn't have made it for the 90% attendance requirement. Thanks baby, for being so strict with me. Appreciate it loads. :)
I miss my greenish twin. I miss vian. I miss fiona. I miss apg although I've just met up with the girls recently to celebrate ping's birthday.
And wanling! She said I'm a lucky girl because I'm the first person she's met up with ever since she's back in sg late aug. She even bought me bubbletea and brought me shopping and crapped loads with me. More meetups please, girl ;) I WANT MY WALLET DEI!
And cousin! Ever since school started we havent really got the time to meetup. I miss having impromptu meetups with you to settle your cravings for shaker fries and hearing you share about your life with me. I miss the times when you'll be reading your newspaper away as I do my own stuff. I miss shopping with you- you never fail to attack every single store and end up with bags full of loots. I miss your neverending laughters too. Meetup soon alright dearie! :(
And kaka! This girl said she's bringing me to island cremery since a million centuries ago and ever since school started we haven't really got the time to meetup. Do something about it bbitch! Materialise it! :(
And ofcourse most importantly, my baybee lah! How can I possibly forget about her. She's like my second boyfriend man. I meet up with her the most. I text her the most. I bitch with her the most. I do the most crazy stuff with her. And the list goes on and on..
Anyhows, I'm starting to feel that school life is making me feel more deprived than ever. The homework is piling up and I've like a million essay questions to do. On top of that, I've school everyday. And this sat, I'm going back school for one hour of ibm tutorial. Yes, I've school on a beautiful saturday noon, smacked right in the middle of the day. How great.
I've quit admin and am left with only one tutee. By right I should have more than enough time to finish up my homework, revision etc. But somehow I never seem to have enough time for everything. Most of my classmates have read up their lecture notes in advance and I marvel at their high level of efficiency and tolerance- I swear by my words that the notes were nasty, very nasty indeed.
Damn. I seriously need better time management.
Okay, I'm off to finish up my econs tutorial now.
