Way back at the end of January '07 I painted a robot I called 'Curio', then after nine months, I birthed the 3D version and renamed it 'Obo'. After ten more months I passed it to Alex Savin to play with, as he was taking a Maya course. This is the result:
Sweet job Alex!

Angler
When it's mature, the male angler's digestive system degenerates, making him incapable of feeding independently. His sensitive olfactory organs help him sniff out a female anglerfish. When he finds one, he bites into her skin, and releases an enzyme that digests the skin of his mouth and her body, fusing the pair down to the blood-vessel level. He then atrophies into nothing more than a pair of gonads, which releases sperm in response to hormones indicating egg release. This extreme sexual dimorphism ensures that, when the female is ready to spawn, she has a mate immediately available.

Got Band-Aides?
A little live action compositing and FX for a change.
This is Jeff slicing Gary in two, applying the "300",
sack o' blood style effect.

Mythical Beast
This pic was designed by Gary Ferguson for his
band Mythical Beast.
All I did was paint it for them.
It'll be the cover art for their new CD.

Nabataean
I really like my new tablet PC. If you're considering
buying one, there's something you should know: There are
a few models that don't use the 'Penable' technology (which
is used to drive the Wacom Cintiq). Without it, there is less
pen sensitivity and none when using Photoshop. Of course this
point only applies if you want the tablet for artistic purposes.
Go here to find the models (refer to the *note).
