flashback: easter

i was searching through some files on the computer... looking for a picture... and came across a file of pictures from easter weekend.

take my breath away.

i can still hear and smell and feel these pictures.  they seem like yesterday. where has this year gone?

i don't think i ever blogged them. surprise, surprise!

we had such a HAPPY halloween! loved every bit! {well except for when you didn't want to sit and eat dinner so you ran across the room and threw yourself into a chair, squealing all the way}

i'm not a big halloween person. i don't like scary. i don't like spooky. there are just other holidays that really have significance...i'd rather celebrate then. BUT... tonight was a blast!

you truly were the sweetest strawberry ever.  i think you thought you were pretty cute, too!

the greens joined us for dinner and trick-or-treating.  we had fun fall food and spent the evening watching you and catherine. she was a silly clown...and oh, so cute.  you girls are just precious together.  yall get cuter with every day... you are really starting to interact with each other and you really love each other.  so much fun! you hug and kiss and hold hands....oh my. melts my heart!

we went trick-or-treating on our little street. yall loved it! i didn't know what to expect... but you acted like it's something we always do! you even said "chick a cheet"... or something like that... we had to do a late night skype with grandma & pa... for a little cyber trick-or-treating. i just couldn't stand not to share your cuteness :)... precious!

after trick-or-treating we came home for some ice-cream clowns in honor of catherine and chocolate dipped strawberries in honor of you! we shared suckers and played, then emily read us a fun halloween story... and we said goodnight!

whew! a fun, sugar-filled night with the best of friends :)

here are some really horrible pictures to somewhat document a really great evening.  something is up with my camera... sad.  i think it's tired.  i have one body that i try to use for personal (since it is likely to get sticky & yucky}... and another for business... but, right now i think i need about 5.  fall has taken a toll on our cameras...  and i just don't have time to edit the pictures. oh well.  they'll do :)

i grabbed a camera with a prime lens... and snapped... and this moment was gone before i refocused... but you are SO into lining this up. you line up your crackers on your highchair tray. you line up your babies on the couch. you line up your blocks.  last night, you lined up your babies in the doorway, then you laid down with them. super cute. :)
