California

WE LOVE CALI!!! We would love to live there but Daniel is convinced it is going to fall off into the ocean. So in the mean time the next best thing is vacationing there. We spend 4 days in Oceanside and it was beautiful. The view of the ocean was AMAZING!!

Somehow on vacations it is always me, Daniel, Justin, and Nathan....usually that means I am the only sane and rational one in the car. I ruin all of there FUN. If I foresee a danger as a result of the screeching and yelling at innocent pedestrians I put a stop to it. I have to say that even though I always get after the boys (my husband included) I usually laugh so hard I cry when I am in the car with them. The best is when Nathan (Justin's Friend) makes up voices on the walkie talkie, that each car has, and convinced my Dad that some guy is on the same radio frequency, on the same road, and in range for hours.

Any trip to the San Diego area would not be complete without a trip to Seaport Village. The most entertaining part of the night was the rubber poop provided by Uncle J. At first Nathan and Justin were using it to fake out innocent families. After a while someone picked it up and left.....only to return it later. Mr. C (my nephew) found out about it and LOVED it. He was screaming "Where is the rubber poop?" any time he couldn't see it. Lucky for The Mosley Family, Uncle J gave his rubber poop to Collin. I am sure the memories will live on with the rubber poop that was purchased at Seaport Village many many years ago.

We were able to go to the Temple with The Mosleys and The Cooks. It was amazing...of course all the temples are amazing :)

We spent some time playing at the beach and Brian and Justin dug a whole to China for Collin. Well they tried....it started filling up with water so they had to stop just short of China.

More than anything we were ECSTATIC that we were able to spend time together as a family. Thanks Mom and Dad for an amazing vacation full of memories!

First Day at School

Tomorrow is the first day back for U of A students!!! That means that summer is officially over for Daniel, Justin, Shelly, and Rob. Good luck everyone!

It doesn't really mean that much of a change for us because Daniel never stops going to school. The poor guy is a student year round. He is enrolled in an INSANE amount of classes (something like 23 units)....WHAT WAS HE THINKING.....hopefully we will both survive. I am excited that we only have 4 semesters left, maybe 5 at the most until Daniel can get a job in his field. Daniel is already talking about a masters though so I am sure this road, we call higher education, is not ending soon. Here is to another year...I am so proud of you Daniel!!
