Wow ok it's been 2 months..

Guess KEWOC really ate up all my time haha

Wow who would've known how many things could happen in these two months!

Firstly, NUS Indoor was AWESOME! Not only was running around taking photos fun but I won first place for Novice Female Institutional and NUS Challenge!! I really couldn't believe it! I actually expected to be 3rd because I know the novice girls this year are quite good. Won Silver and Bronze for team events with Xu Cong, Mayching and Dorcas. It was quite a haul! Never never never expected that I would win anything..





After Indoors, KEWOC had our Genting trip! Equally awesome except that taking budget airways is a sure path to DISASTER! Our flight got cancelled which left us scrambling to find another flight to make it to KL in time for our hotel bookings. Basically that day we took almost every form of transport to get up to Genting. Plane, then Bus up to KL Sentral, the MRT to goodness knows where anc cab up the mountain to Genting.. I think the only thing left was for us to row a boat back to Singapore haha! Genting theme park rides were mostly awesome! Except for a couple really lame ones haha.. Second day was basically shopping, eating and haircut in KL!


Archery elections was pretty disappointing. I ran for vice knowing I was up against Ren Yih and well, let's just say that whenever I put my faith in people, people let me down.. Elections has and always will be a cliquish thing and I of all people already saw it coming so ohwell.. I got Pubs head and no one wanted to fill Marketing (big surprise o.0) which I think I may eventually have to do too for Indoors next year.. bleagh

Archery chalet was pretty fun! We booked exactly the same chalet Iggy's had their retreat in!
Someone brought Band Hero together with drums and a guitar set and it was all we played the entire time haha! Had BBQ at night and many many rounds of bridge! Had some inspirational movie session where we watched The Weatherman with Nicholas Cage as a guy turning his life around and archery featuring heavily in the show!
Second day was archery sharing and more games which included ultimate frisbee on the beach and swimming! Last night was more bridge, world cup match which everyone except me and andrew fell asleep halfway through and then we all went to bed!

So after all this I devoted myself to KEWOC fully and I think KEWOC turned out to be more fun then I initially anticipated =)
At the very least I found a new bunch of buddies called the FB group because they're from F block and I'm from B haha! Garrick, Huang Rong, Mitch and Mark! It all started with us on "this" side of the table and bitching about anything and everyone who got on our nerves during the entire time we worked together =D and lots and lots of saboteur and HTHT sessions!
Orientation went along pretty smoothly and then we all got fired every night for the countless glitches in the plan that day =P Not to mention long winded passionate "discussions" on mode of action to take regarding GH seniors who crashed our orientation ^^
I turned out to be more rara then I thought and I quite enjoyed being so enthu =) But in any case now that orientation is over I'm back to my hermitish self XD

I got rejected from Block comm this year, which surprises me especially since I can't see why Qing Liang would and why he would do it.. But after getting over my anger and disappointment I guess it gives me the opportunity to do other comms this year. I'm trying to be more active so I joined floorball,netball and tennis, alumni comm, I applied for assistant production manager and set decor, and pubs for hall play. I'm not too sure about the APM part but then again I'll probably max out my Comm points this year after KEWOC... Flag day also is giving us points for each can filled so I'm going to have enough I guess.

YOG was AWESOME! I was a volunteer for YOG Archery because they need archers specifically. Singapore won Bronze in the team event! I was doing FOP (Field of Play) then during the competition I was a live scorer where we spot the scores and update them live on the electronic board and on tv!


And well I'm single again.. yep! I think after much thought after that incident both of us realised that we gave it a fair try and we both know this isn't going to work out. We're both too similar to be together and we're both looking for the same kind of person, just not what the other person happens to be.. well it was memorable and wonderful while it lasted, and if you're reading this I'm glad I got to know you and spend time together =) There were alot of things I learnt from you and many of them are invaluable =)

And before the clock strikes twelve, life hits me with one unexpected whallop.. I don't know it was just too coincidental or very ill timed, or just rebound but things have developed with someone else.. I know this all sounds very rushed but I was technically single for a long time already.. but I guess that will have to wait till another post =D
