I guess I joined just a little too late.. The other team has enough East Wingers such as Fang Min, Jerwin and Nicholas to drum up support from East Wing, not to mention support from the Chinese speaking community because of XQRJ..
So I guess I joined too late because my team is mostly west wing dominated and before I came into the picture the only East Wing representation was a relative unknown. Even my own friends are siding with the other team.. I guess I can't blame them.. I probably might have as well if I were in their shoes considering how I'd want equal wing representation in the future JCRC..
Presidential Rally will be tomorrow night and by the time voting ends on Thursday all this will be over one way or another.
I think I'd prefer not to adopt the stand everyone else has against the other team.. After all when this is over I'm still going to have to be the one interacting with them since half of them and most of their supporters are East Wingers =) It's suddenly like everyone you know and who lives around you seem to appear in a different light when things like politics comes into play..
I would be lying if I said I fully expect us to win. I actually think we might only win by a close margin if the non-prominent people (e.g quiet muggers/foreigners) actually take the time to vote for since most of them seem neutral either way..
I trust our policies and I trust our leaders, but I hope that we're able to effectively disseminate our message so everyone doesn't vote based on face recognition or popularity alone.

Had mini KEWOC orientation Sunday night with some ice breaker games ^^ I'm hoping things go out well this holidays!
Mafer now wants me to be Set Decor head because I think they forget Terence was not staying next year when they gave it to him.. If we do eventually win the JCRC elections I will be way too busy to handle being Set Decor head as well.. not to mention I don't think I ever wanted to be.. I like how she phrases her email and tells me seniors also think I'm up to the job.. oh boy..

JCRC elections.. hmm
Fang Min is VP of Team B which surprises me considering she seems to be popping up from nowhere.. She's even becoming CD block head next year.. I wish her well and I trust she is capable but I just wonder how she suddenly managed to gain so much prominence.
I think I like Team A's proposed cabinet better. Seems like its a reunion of the Convening committee which I feel I can get along and work with quite well =)
So I am joining the campaign group to run for the 54th JCRC of KEVII!
On a side note, parents went to Japan over the week. They managed to catch the cherry blossoms! *envy* Jordan and I stayed behind (because of my Anatomy CA) and he came over to stay Friday night.. Was kinda fun except I really couldn't get any work done..so here I am at 1:14am on a Sunday morning blogging/doing lab report..
Had a long talk with Joe last night about several things about hall leadership, archery and personal points.. He's right in alot of the things he observed and I'm glad I'm able to get a fresh perspective on things and for once I can include someone in my retrospective analysis and they're able to give some insightful comments =) Well I'm going to step up from now on.. I think I need to be more proactive when it comes to getting what I want.. Kinda lost focus a little due to school work and archery but I'm back now!
So after having taken actions on some of the things I've had in mind it looks like its going to be a busy week ahead =)

Shucks I don't know what if it's something I ate or what.. because I'm feeling high alot, several times a week and occasionally even several times a day! Wonder how/why.. it's quite weird really cus randomly in the middle of lecture I can get high ahaha!

Anatomy CA tmr! and SUJA draft 2 is due AHHHHHHHH! I wonder if I can make it..
DnD was last Saturday.. was themed KE70's haha! Was kind cool seeing everyone make an effort to dress up =P such a sharp relief from the kind of attitude you see in events like these in highschool

After finally getting through the Archery IVP pics and looking through a few of the East Wing supper ones, I felt a little sad.
Sometimes being the only photographer around is tough. You spend so much time documenting others, who's left to document you? There is always a feeling of being left out because you are the one behind the lens. When it comes to family events, hall activities, birthdays, where were you when it happened? There was no proof that you were there, nothing to stand as reminder of who you were or what you used to look like when it happened. It's unfortunate that being particular about documenting things, because I want it to be taken in a certain way, I have to sacrifice myself in order to achieve it. So the most I can do is ask others to help me take pictures of myself, but it gets a little embarrassing and self centered to do that every time, so where's the compromise?
It's a little lonely this side of the camera lens..

Yes one of the things I forgot to mention is that I now have an iPhone ^^
So much for me complaining about apple products.. I'm being turned to the dark side!! XD Cost me quite a bit though, since to get a 3GS I had to pay my parents the difference in cost.. but after having used it for about a month and getting used to the interface, it's one of the most useful things I've had in a while!
East Wing Supper tonight was awesome fun! The Game Show theme was a real hit I feel =D
Had three games, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Are You Smarter Then A 5th Grader and Don't Forget The Lyrics..

So anyway ROCKE interviews started last night and I was one of the first few up..
Sadly I think I can't run for vice because I have NUS Indoor to plan as well as training for the competition.
They asked me why I wanted to join and I reasoned that I didn't have an orientation of my own this year.. plus seeing Eddie ebing my buddy "inspired" me to do the same for the freshies next year XD I won't say more then that ahaha!
I really hate my general tardiness nowadays... and it occurs mostly in conjunction with sleep.. I've missed several trainings this week already all due to the fact that I overslept and didn't wake up until after training was over. I wish I had better control over my body.. =S
On a side note, applications sent in already.. Mum will be mailing the remaining documents for me tomorrow and all that's left is to sit back, wait and see..

Hmm lets see, what can I say about the past month or two?
Convening gave me 12 points! I guess it was kinda worth all the work.. Don't regret it though.. I managed to learn a few leadership skills along the way..
Hallplay was a joy to be done with! I forgot why I signed up for set decor when I positively HATE washing paint of floors/brushes/myself..
SUJA is really a pain to write.. I changed my topic to Ritalin prescription to young children with ADHD but apparently it's not fine tuned enough..
Was training very hard for Archery IVP while juggling CAs and hmwk..
I am actually very pleased with myself with how I performed during IVP. I set out to beat my personal best which I did and came out ranking 11th =D Too bad I opted out of the team event (and eventually I was able to make it anyway) because that's where all the novice's won their medals.. Ohwells my medal will be during NUS Indoor! Muahaha!
Have upped to Anthony's 30lb wooden bow. Bought new plat plus arrows for it already as well as a quiver, stringer and another angel finger tap <3 a while back.. Need to save for a metal riser soon! I wonder if Aunty Jeanette will sell me hers.. Speaking of which I confirmed she WAS in Team NUS archery and was even the batch that got us the lounge! Awesome! ^^
Chinese New Year on my mum's side this year was great as well. Everyone still has their problems but the mood is like macabre and sombre.. my cousins are just adorable and Theresa seems to have a budding talent for photog! It runs in the family I see.. and my line too =P
Dad's side.. well I was never really close to any of them, although it shocked us at how much Charlie grew! I'm like an Aunt several times over already haha
Archery club had CNY at Ren Yih's house and he cooked up a storm for us!
Can't really think of anything else at the moment..
Had post valentine's celebration with Joe yesterday.. I think we're occasionally psychic because he got engraved rings for us when I was JUST thinking about it but I never said anything! 
I have absolutely no idea how he figured out my ring size but it fits perfectly.. and he won't tell me how haha ^^ I was quite shocked when the waitress brought up the flowers and rings because I alr told him not to do anything, and what was hilarious was that everyone thought he was proposing to me! One woman at the next table actually came over to congratulate us! hahahaha! We were both so amused and a little sheepish! The view from Orgo, the restaurant on the rooftop of Esplanade was really great and I think yesterday went really well even though we planned it quite last minute =P
