Arrived at 6+ this morning.. the flight was horrid because in the 6 hours, none of us got much sleep and we arrived walking around like a bunch of tired zombies.. Had to wait major long for the host family and the other two Thai girls who were staying with Eugenie and me.. The surname of the family sounded kinda Spanish, so I spent the entire time liking out for this jolly looking plump Spanish lady but surprise surprise, up walks this white model-skinny-supermum which was a whole 180 from what I expected because! That was just the first of the surprises.. The house turned out to be pretty small with out guest room right next to the front door and partially jutting out of the house.. so it's damn COLD because the heating doesn't travel to our room.. I'm gonna freeze to death in my bed >.<
Spent the day trying to find our bearings and map out a way for us to make our own way to the University.. We pretty much need to take care of everything ourselves, like transport and our own meals during the day.. It's like being thrown into the deep end the first day you're here which is very different from Asian hospitality.. Maybe Australians are different.. or maybe it's just this family..
In any case, this day seems to have dragged on forever and it's only 4pm!!
and omg tomorrow we have to wear our formal uniform to ASMS..in this weather??? my legs are gonna drop off! yikes!

Man, I am so set to go ^^ Adelaide here I come!! Hopefully we'll still get some time to do a little shopping and sightseeing in the midst of the jam packed schedule..
Went to watch Get Smart today before I leave.. It's a little lame, with a lot of forced humor in the beginning but it definitely gets better as it goes along =)
M-"If I was from Control, you'd be dead by now.."
S-"If you were from Control, YOU'd be dead by now.."
M-"Well since neither of us is dead, OBVIOUSLY I'm not from Control.."

Recently, the opposite apartment was sold to a family which my Dad said was German..
Haven't seen anyone yet, except the contractors..... BUT today as I was coming back, I shared the lift which two people who apparently now live in the apartment.. and DAMN do I have a hot neighbour XD.... They turned out not to be German but they do have one good looking boy hahaha
Too bad I'm mostly at the hostel =P
In any case, finishing up the rest of my packing.. I'm so ECSTATIC!! woohoo!
Will be bringing my com over, so will be updating as I go.. Hopefully ;)

I'm bored/psyched/bored/totally worried... bored from being at home.. psyched about going in 2 days(!) and bored from staring at the stupid poster/videos too much and worried about the stupid cultural sharing video!
Well at least poster is done and all that's left is the video..

Some highlights from the last few weeks
I met Navin!! omg he's really grown taller.. it's been like what? 4 years?
Michael isn't going to get sacked yet.. boo >.<
The baby abalone died just like mum predicted! =(
I'm going to get a new room! <3 or at least my room is going to get revamped.. finally!! Must have something to do with the fact that I'll be coming back home to stay soon.. My mind is just teeming with ideas about the layout and new furniture haha, I really love this..
Finally finished analysis of our slide samples and now on to finish the report and plan our poster to bring over to Adelaide.. The cultural sharing video thing is a real chore.. not to mention a real challenge having to work with the material I've gotten so far from most people >.<
I sometimes wonder whats the point of having a project mentor when eventually, they get less and less involved and we end up knowing more about the project then they do.. even our prof from NTU was appalled at the fact that our mentor is not doing anything for the project at this point.. I think if we were any less initiated, this project would still be swimming around and going nowhere..
Working 7 hours used to be nothing but yesterday I was suddenly so tired.. I think between work and this project, my energy reserves are being depleted rapidly...
Oh and I think Alex has a girlfriend now ^^ Although he seems to be slightly embarrassed being seen with her I think they may be going out haha. I must admit though that she is COMPLETELY not what I expected he'd go for... o.0
Yay cedele opened up a branch at tangling.. ^^ hehe my supply of cupcakes is guaranteed! XD oh and their new cloud 9 vanilla bean ice cream is just so yummy! One of the best vanilla ice creams I've tasted..

Managed to finish watching the final episode of Hana Kimi.. even my brother got interested and was anxiously wondering what the ending would be like.. never thought he'd find it so funny ^^
However in the end we were so DISAPPOINTED because the ending was another ambiguous scenario in which nothing was wrapped up!! What a waste of time.. T.T
In any case the marines are in town! Loads of baldies pouring into the store ALL ordering footlongs.. whew tough.. This influx of marines somehow seems to coincide with the number of streetwalkers around at night after work.. *eyeroll*
In any case, why on earth would my bosses hire people are so strange?? I mean there are perfectly good people applying who are ready to work and we just HAVE to choose people who are... UGH I just can't stand it.. and they'd rather give longer hours to people who are uncooperative and socially inept.. It just seems unfathomable to me how they run this franchise..
Je trouve que je suis intolerent de l'injustice. Je vraiment ne peux pas leur permettre de faire ceci a moi, mais est-ce que ceci est vraiment en valeur tout l'ennui ? Peut-etre je lutte contre ce qui n'est pas juste pour le combat, mais je me demande si je suis pret pour les consequences.

I managed to finish watching Code Geass in under 2 days.. I hate cliffhangers!! >.<
I wish I'd taken Season 2 while I was at it.. argh!
Was at my grandma's house the other day and Hana Kimi was on Channel U. I remember everyone was crazy about that last year ^^ So I've started on that yesterday and now I'm at the final episode of the series! Sadly, I can't watch it because I need to head off for work soon.. bleagh.. I really like the theme song 專屬天使.. I think I've heard it before but I just can't remember where.. hmm
In any case.. I'm ignoring the preparations for the research congress!!! ahhhh nononono not good... need to focus and stop watching shows =P
