I hate myself.. Today my insides felt twisted which I haven't felt for a long time. I know what this means.. gah I thought I would have been able to at least have some self control by now =( And I think everyone will be scratching their heads over what I've said so never mind ^^ I just needed to rant..
Lol Cow is back in singapore! I think.. I seem to be quite popular this week hahaha
Man I miss school.. Well maybe all I miss is organized activity cus it gets so boring on days when I'm not working.. and lazing around is not productive at all! Bah..
Watching a movie by webcam is weird ^^ For one thing, you can barely see what's going on..

Lol today was more then amusing..
One of my store regulars is this German guy.. and every time he comes by, he makes it a point to say hi to me. So today he comes by as usual but for some reason is utterly flustered and extremely red (so red that my boss thought he was drunk ^^). So for the first time, he didn't get anything but just got a Snapple. Then he somehow manages to finish his drink in 5 minutes and come by the counter again, only this time he (whilst extremely embarrassed) tries to ask me out.
Anyway I think I was kinda mean cus he was so soft and I really couldn't hear him so he had to repeat himself like 3 times before I got it.. poor guy ^^" and he asked me right in front of everyone in the store cus we were all busy haha.. well I tried to turn him down gently but I still feel so bad for him cus he has to see everyone again every time he comes back to the store heheh..
I think of all the guys so far who've done this, this guy is the nicest.. but ohwell, I still can't.. too bad for him ^^ He plays tennis too mehehehe!! Buttt.. I still can't. Bleagh..
Anyway, tmr I'm back at Suntec!! I realised I really liked Suntec ^^ Today I felt weird back in my own store for some reason.. And I conclude that Ali is a village boy! In all aspects =P so there! haha
Oooh met Jim on Sunday and finally got to pass the b'day present! We hung around Orchard for a bit and and, I finally got around to paying for my mum's facial!! Yay ok so present accomplished! I can relax now ^^

Today's lunch crowd wasn't as bad as yesterdays although another two new recruits who were with me today were practically melting on the floor behind the counter ^^
One even came in dress pumps instead of sneakers.. hmm since this is her first job I guess she wouldn't know better.. Was only supposed to work from 12-8 but I got roped in for closing because someone else couldn't make it.. So I worked 12 hours today! Mighty feat considering we don't sit much.. I practically couldn't bend after a while..
Anyway I saw Mikel,Roy,Reico,Yam,ZhaoYe,YuHeng and Ican'trmbrwhoelse at a food court near the outlet.. I guess Mikel was pretty shocked seeing me in uniform ^^ I keep forgetting that not many ppl know I work regularly.. I guess it must have been surprising XD
So typical of the guy.. first thing out of his mouth is "Got any discounts?" haha why am I not surprised =D
I think Pam is nice.. quite likable and very cooperative.. Managed to convince her to run with me from Suntec to the Esplanade to try and catch the last bus ^^
Today some white guy told Jolyn that she was cute.. haha maybe she should come over to my store sometime.. could wisen her up a bit to the numerous antics these white guys employ =)
I guess the Caucasians are the best and worst people to serve for the simple reason that they are unafraid to speak their mind. If they like you, they'll be extremely friendly but if they are unhappy with the service, they wouldn't hesitate to ram their complaints down your throat. This is probably why I still like working at my own store.. these ppl make life a little more interesting ^^
I feel so pleased.. This guy came up to the counter 5 minutes before closing and I made an exception and took his order. I can empathize with him. You know the feeling you get when you just wanna eat some dinner because your work ended late and all the stores are closing and you get that kind of depressed feeling, and then you manage to find somewhere to eat something in peace where there is music, lights and activity around you so it doesn't seem so isolated..

W00TS! I am so BlOODY proud of my CAP! XD *does a bouncy dance of joy*
I can't believe I managed to reach the target I set for myself since like forever... *whew* finally ^^
Started work yesterday. Found out Ismady left *sniffle* and Sam the irritating manager got fired! Oh my goodness.. like finally? I can't believe it took so long!
Apparently this guy who is one of our regulars missed me so much cus he was so happy to see I was back hahaha =)
Today worked at the Suntec outlet cus they had a staff shortage. I must say that their lunch hour is a whole lot busier then ours.. Like a hell lot. I mean we had a never-ending queue! I do love being senior though hehe, cus then I don't have to do everything myself and I at least have help from some of the trainees =D Kinda reminds me of my first day..
Suntec sees a whole lot less celebs though.. sad =( My store sees a few of them almost everyday.
Meh I feel cheated. The new recruits have better shirt >.< I want!!

I hate waiting for results.. gah >.< The anticipation just kills me..
The pianissimo concert was quite ok.. I'm not really a concert person unless someone I know is performing. I like ballets better.. always did love them <3
Lynn and Kenwei were good.. Nic was his usual self, although I didn't know that Theo could do drums.. interesting.. Lynn thought someone was ehem cute ^^ *whistles innocently*
I was a little far from the stage plus it was quite dark so my cam didn't capture everything that well..

The disco was a disappointment really.. every year its the same. Maybe it's just as well SY didn't go even though Lynn and I tried to drag him along =P I would have thought that the selection of music would have been better but I guess even that wasn't handled properly *eyeroll* Ohwell at least our hostel discos are kinda ok..
Dr Hang+Me+Lynn..Dr Hang even started to boogie at one point during the disco XD
Today had to help pack up our exhibition @ NUS. Ms Ching was supposed to treat us to lunch but she didn't show up.. I feel cheated :P
Went to Borders in the evening and I spotted our Physics teacher hanging around the science fiction section. He seems a little lost in his own thoughts but I sometimes wonder if he's actually more alert then he looks.. Never spoken to him though..
I do love Christmas <3 I really do.. If my relatives were a little more into the western traditions of Christmas I would probably go crazy celebrating and attending dinners and such =P
But unfortunately they aren't that initiated *shrugs* Perhaps one day if I live in the UK I might get my wish ^^

Yay Art History was excellent!!! Chem well, all I really expected was to pass.. Didn't have very high hopes for my score after the exam ^^
So now, hopefully my Chem adds up to a B since my CA was pretty good..
And all my A's and B+'s and B's hopefully add up to a..________ Don't wanna jinx myself by saying it.. ^.~
Class photo taking was weird.. All the guys were doing funny stuff behind us haha
Ohwell, starting work soon. Need something to preoccupy me or I'd go crazy trying to find something productive to do ^^
So anyway stuff to do during the hols:

Re-watched stardust on Sunday with my family ^^ I guess this is one of the few movies that I'd entertain sitting through a second time =) My parents loved it although my brother was a little skeptical of the story line (as always) but he did find the gay pirate hilariously funny hahaha
Today was script checking for a few of our papers..
English was... INCREDIBLE! Now if only my CA were that high, I'd be able to stop worrying about English this sem *eyeroll*
BioAAP was expected.. overlooked the non-specific immunity part but otherwise a pretty good paper =D
BioE&E was also not entirely unexpected, I've always done relatively average for these aspects of Bio.. but not too bad.. My score was relatively good ^^
Stats.. Gah I expected higher for the paper but I made a few careless mistakes.. not to mention over analyzing a question to the point of insanity.. The working was actually so simple! Gah!
Calculus was better then Stats, surprising for a module I barely had time to study for considering I was spending so much time studying for BioE&E. But I'm quite pleased with it overall *smirks*
So calculating my final grade.. Everything so far is above B+ and I have a few A's too ^^ Now hopefully my Art History is an A too and my Chem isn't going to be just like year 3.. Yikes!

Yay yesterday turned out pretty well..
Got back quite late the night before, so I snoozed till about 11 am.. Packed a fews things and headed back home then met Gen at Orchard for a late lunch.. I tell you the smell of fresh pastry as Sun Moulin is IRRESISTIBLE! Anyway so spent the rest of the day wandering around Orchard window shopping for random things and we went to far east eventually.. I really didn't think anyone else goes there... cool
So met Mum after work for dinner... Bleagh I think the Sakae Sushi @ Wheelock is getting worse.. The food doesn't taste as good anymore..
Anyway today packed up most of my stuff and lugged it back home.. I hate the packing days.. I don't see why we can't just leave it all there.. >.<
Anyway tmr is the Bio prac, yay! I hope it's at least interesting so we can put up a good show..
Anyway this happens every holiday, I spend the exam period thinking up stuff to do during the hols and I completely forget about them when the hols arrive =(
So anyway stuff to do during the hols:

Yesterday was a blast! hahahahaha
The day before chem ended I was feeling to sick of the exams that Chi and I decided to go for a movie marathon.. yes you read that right ^^
So yesterday we went to Vivo and caught Stardust, which I must say is a pretty nice movie.. better then I expected. We came to the conclusion that the haircut makes a HUGE difference in how hot a guy looks haha and Claire Danes somehow got uglier over the years.. even Michelle Pfeiffer looked better!
Then we came out, and went back in the watch The Seeker.. not a bad movie but I feel that it could have been done so much better. Compared to Stardust.. it didn't hold my attention as well as the previous one... But the signs do look so nice though.. I could imagine a collector's edition of those..
So we were on the way out to buy tickets for a third movie.. but then we ended up sneaking off in the direction of the other theatres and randomly picked Theatre 8 which was showing ___________... haha you gotta ask me to find out what we watched! hahahahahaha I so can't believe that we actually did that! And it so happened that THAT theatre was showing THAT movie.. wow the number 8 must have power.. rofl!
So anyway I got my Dad's 50th b'day present! Which is waaaay more ex then what I usually spend on presents.. but ohwell... he IS my dad and he's 50! lol somehow all our special birthdays seem to coincide..
Now I just need to find something for my mum ^^

Lol oh my goodness.. more hot action in the stairway...
I must say this hostel has seen it's fair share of scandal as well as some of the most unlikely pairings.. ^^
tsk.. poor taste *smirks*
Anyway, a show I saw on TV made me think... and think really deep. I almost couldn't bear to finish the show, but at the end it left me wondering about choices I've made and the one's I've yet to make... I guess it struck a chord with me since I've experienced something similar, although not to such an extreme extent.
I find myself missing it. But I've come so far... and I've only a while more to go...

Integrity? pfft.. well good thing at least everyone else has enough guts not become accomplices in cheating..
Today went pretty well too.. Ok I think I'm starting to think that SY's luck has POWER haha! obviously very potent.. ;)
I'm guessing that SMU's nearing visit is influencing the standard of the exams.. but thats just my guess.. Might just be all that studying paying off ^^
Lol I'm so enjoying myself just sitting back and watching a cow hang itself..(with the loads of rope lying around ^^)
Anyway our new VNese juniors are in.. and Chi is currently fangirling or dare I say les-ing over the cutest one... well she's cute I guess.. perfect skin and cute eyes ^^ However I'm very firmly straight! haha and so I'll leave Chi to the fangirling ;)
Ah the twins are coming back to Singapore.. this is going to prove to be interesting.. hmm
