All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth

Hello! We are doing well - Jasper is slobbering everywhere because he is now getting his two front teeth. He is drooling SOOO much. He hasn't had a fever but just in the last day he has developed a very runny nose and cough. I hope it is congestion from the teething and not a cold. He was up a lot last night. He slept soundly all night the previous week so I hope it is the teething waking him up. You can see his wet chin in the next picture!

This was the first attempt at taking a 9 month picture with Jasper sitting in the corner of the couch. As I took it, he lunged forward off the couch and I barely caught him. He is a wiggle worm, and I didn't take any more pictures on the couch that day.

Look at me - I'm pulling up everywhere! Jasper is pulling up in his crib, on the kitchen chairs, on his high chair. He has started cruising a little bit around the furniture, too.

Nine months old!

THE CUTEST PICTURE EVER!!!!

I had to start this blog post with the Jasper & Santa picture again because it is so stinkin' cute! I can't get over how adorable the picture is. I look at it all the time.

Jasper is now 9 months old and is oh so fun. He is crawling everywhere and trying to pull up. About the week after Thanksgiving he started doing both these things. Finally crawling forward! He was so close for so long and just unmotivated, I suppose. But now he's all over the place. He can pull up to one foot & one knee on his own. He still loves to stand up, refuses to bend at the waist, and wants to walk everywhere holding onto someone's fingers. I took him for his 9 month dr. appt yesterday and he weighs 23 lbs 10 oz and is 30.5 inches long. He weighed about the same a month ago so he is definitely losing some of his chub as he gets moving!

I was ready to give the final exam for my last class that afternoon so I figured I had time. The outlet malls were more crowded than usual but no line for Santa at 11 am on Thursday. Santa was reading the newspaper so we didn't have to wait at all.

The get together last weekend for missionary friends back in the States for the first time in 2 years! Jasper & Cylia (same age) got to meet and we had a good time with everybody at our house!

And lastly...naked baby! After his bath last night, Jasper got to crawl around on the kitchen floor and play with his bath towel and fridge magnets - and he loved it.

Thanksgiving Photos

Jasper got his two bottom teeth in Sept and his two top fangs in October. The fangs are best viewed when he is upside - Hilarious!

We had a great holiday spending two days in Lilburn and one day in Gainesville. We are very thankful for our happy, healthy baby boy!

The Metal Bowl

Beautiful fall weatherOne of Jasper's favorite things to play with is this metal bowl. He loves to put it over his head-

And play peek-a-boo with it...

And while his head is in it, he loves to make lots of sounds to hear the echos.

He bangs on it-Of course, chews on it...

And starts the play cycle again...Here is Jasper in his incredibly cute sweater - even cuter because it is from my friend Niki in Scotland. It has probably got some good Scottish wool in it.

I wanted to take a Christmas card photo so we took two pictures. Both were good but neither one is quite perfect so we'll try again later.
